He is also the Phi Delta Theta/Matthew Mason Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Manocha’s research focuses on AI and robotics, computer graphics, augmented/virtual reality, and scientific computing. He co-leads a major research group UMD GAMMA with more than 25 members on geometric and simulation algorithms with applications to computer graphics, robotics and virtual environments. His group has won 17 best paper awards at leading conferences and developed a number of software technologies that are licensed to more than 60 commercial vendors. A Fellow of AAAI, AAAS, ACM, IEEE and Sloan Foundation, Manocha is a member of ACM SIGGRAPH Academy Class, and Bézier Award recipient from Solid Modeling Association. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Delhi and the Distinguished Career in Computer Science Award from Washington Academy of Sciences. He was also the co-founder of Impulsonic, a developer of physics-based audio simulation technologies, which was acquired by Valve Inc in November 2016.

David Zhang graduated in Computer Science from Peking University. He received his MSc in 1982 and his PhD in 1985 in both Computer Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), respectively. From 1986 to 1988 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tsinghua University and then an Associate Professor at the Academia Sinica, Beijing. In 1994 he received his second PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He has been a Chair Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he is the Founding Director of Biometrics Research Centre (UGC/CRC) supported by the Hong Kong SAR Government since 1998. Currently he is X.Q. Deng Presidential Chair Professor in Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Over past 40 years, he has been working on pattern recognition, image processing and biometrics, where many research results have been awarded and some created directions, including medical biometrics, are famous in the world. So far, he has published over 20 monographs, 500+ international journal papers and 40+ patents from USA/Japan/China. He has been continuously 8 years listed as a Global Highly Cited Researchers in Engineering by Clarivate Analytics during 2014-2021. He is also ranked about 47 with H-Index 125 at Top 1,000 Scientists for international Computer Science. Tamas Fulop, MD, PhD, FRCPC, FCAHS is Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics, and Senior Researcher at the Research Center on Aging, University of Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada. Dr Janet Schloss has a background as a naturopath and clinical nutritionist and completed her Phd at School of Medicine, University of Queensland. Janet has worked extensively conducting clinical trials, particularly contract research at the University of Queensland, the Mater Hospital, the Princess Alexandra hospital, the Office of Research at the Endeavour College of Natural Health and now with the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine. In addition, Janet has a private practice seeing patients for over 20 years. Research Dr Schloss has been working as a researcher for 10 years, mainly conducting clinical trials through contract research. She has extensive knowledge on trial design, trial implementation, quantitative and qualitative research, in conjunction with extensive industry knowledge mainly in Australia. Janet has extensive experience with working with industry partners to conduct well designed clinical trials and works closely with medical specialists, complementary medicine practitioners, allied health and health professionals. In addition, Janet has conducted numerous systematic literature reviews. She regularly presents at conferences in Australia and worldwide and to date has over 50 peer reviewed published journal articles. In 2019, Janet received the NHAA Young Researcher award at the 11th Herbal and Naturopathic International Conference as well as the BIMA Researcher of the Year award in 2017. Janet was the clinical trials manager at the Office of Research at Endeavour College of Natural Health before joining the NCNM centre at SCU. Community Engagement Dr Schloss as worked very closely with the community for over 20 years. She is a regular speaker at the Kim Walter's Choice Program since 2004, speaking to patients with cancer. In addition, she was spoken at patient seminars with the Queensland Cancer Association, the oncology clinic at Caboolture Hospital, Breast, head and neck, ovarian and colorectal cancer support groups through the Queensland Cancer Council, Ovarian Cancer Support Group Brisbane, and Be Uplifted Breast Cancer Seminars. In addition, Janet conducts workshops with pilates and physiotherapists on cancer and chronic disease, immune function and aging throughout Australia and in the United States of America. She has also been a key speaker to pharmacists on complementary medicine for diabetes and stress and anxiety. Janet is also an associate editor for two journals. Supervision Dr Schloss currently has 1 PhD candidate and 2 honours students who she is supervising. She has been supervising students for 3 years with 5 honours students completing their candidature. Teaching Dr Schloss has been involved with teaching naturopathy and nutrition students since 2004. As part of her teaching, she has written course content, been involved with course development and post graduate course content. She also has supervised undergraduate clinics for approximately 10 years. In addition, Dr Schloss taught nutrition to first year medical students for one year.

Doctor Antonio Steardo specialized in Pharmacology and graduated in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemist. He has now gained years of experience since 2002 in the pharmaceutical products trade sector as he could have been behind the counter of the Steardo pharmacy from an early age. Already in elementary school, his curiosity for chemistry manifests itself during his games and continues lectures at the department of science at the University of Salerno. Therefore, during the cycle of studies, he prefers biochemistry and biochemistry of drug action, graduating in July 2007 with a thesis on the functioning of the endocannabinoid system on Alzheimer’s disease in pharmacology. Following the beginning of his pharmaceutical chemistry studies, he stopped for a competition as a postgraduate in pharmacology at the University of Rome La Sapienza in July 2014. Expecting constant improvement as a professional update, he enrolled in the continuing professional training department at the University of Oxford to follow courses in experimental and translation therapy and on medical research. His desire to improve leads him to attend international conferences and seminars.

Latifa Abdennebi-Najar has completed her Ph.D. at University Pierre & Marie Curie in Life sciences (Paris, France) and postdoctoral studies at National Institute of Agriculture (INRA) and National Institute of Health (INSERM) in France. She is the director of EGEAL research Unit (Gene Expression and Epigenetic Regulation by nutrients) at LaSalle Institute (France). Executive board at France National networks (ANTIOPES, ANSES). She is an executive board member and treasurer at SF-DOHAD society.

Dr. Shah studied Microbiology at Hazara University, Pakistan, and graduated MS in 2015. He then joined the research group of Prof. Cui Xiuming at the Faculty of Life Science and Technology, Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST), Kunming, Yunnan, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2021 at the same institution. He then joined the research group of Prof. Xia Xueshan at the same faculty and institution for his postdoctoral fellowship program. My name is Peyman Ezzati. I was born in 1980 Saqqez, Iran. I started my academic career in polymer engineering as one of the top selected candidates at Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT). AUT is the first industrial school and one of the top ten universities established in Iran which only accepts 25 students annually for their polymer program via national entrance exam. In 2005, I was accepted as a MS student at the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute (IPPI) which is one of the pioneers, top and advanced polymer research centers in the middle east. I successfully received my admission in 2008 from IPPI to start my PhD. As an outcome of my academic research, I successfully submitted and published several patents and papers in peer reviewed advanced polymeric and Medical journals. My professional job experience started in 2008 with PARFOSA as a R&D manager. PARFOSA was the company that financially supported my PhD’s research. I also worked with IberPARFOSA a Spain branch of PARFOSA, as a consultant. In 2015, I continued to show my talents and achievements and received a job offer from BAREZ TIRE working as a chief manager. BAREZ is one of the top Incorporated companies with more than 4000 employees. My main job function and responsibilities was to develop and transfer new tire technologies via an active cooperation with two other international companies, CONTINENTAL (Germany) and PIRELLI (Italy). Meanwhile, I also had a chance to closely work with several Chinese, Italian, and Slovakian corporations which dealt with process design, developments, machines installation, and staff training. All these efforts resulted in producing a new production line which was considered as one the biggest national industrial plants and provided almost 5000 job opportunities directly and indirectly; plus, as an average it generated and supported $20-30M annual aftermarket sales specifically in the middle east. In 2019, I was invited by LINKRAN to develop and produce closed cell NBR and EPDM elastomeric insulators as a first-time venture in Iran. These elastomers are being used as new advanced materials for thermal and acoustic insulation applications specifically where use of these advanced materials in constructions can reduce the fossil fuel usage up to 30%. This means that the technology helps to reduce the carbon dioxide emission and global warming issues and is useful for energy saving. Till now, there have been 12 patents, 4 industrial research contracts, 11 papers, and webinars submitted, published, and presented by LINKRAN under my leadership and supervision as a R&D senior manager. I have been working with OSMOTEC as a Polymer Technology and Energy Advisor, not only for Energy Saving and for fossil fuel reduction, but also for the manufacture of the highest technology and advanced engineering insulation. Regarding my 15 years of experience, research, and working closely with top companies and universities, I found myself as being an entrepreneur who would allow me to also manage my own business. Therefore, in 2020, I established a startup company named “Dr. COMPOUND” which mainly focused on advanced elastomeric compound formulation design, development, consulting, and technology transfers specifically for new based startups companies. I am currently working with this startup in Ukraine, Iraq, India and Thailand. I would like to expand this brand in Australia soon.
