Jean-Marie Tarascon is Professor at the College de France holding the chair “Chemistry of solids – Energy), but much of his early career was spent in US where he discovered the plastic Li-ion technology. Back to France in 1995, he created the European network of excellence ALISTORE-ERI and more recently the French network on electrochemical energy storage (RS2E). Tarascon’s present research is devoted to battery materials/electrolytes, novel reactivity concepts, chemistries beyond Li.and sensing . He is the author of ~700 scientific papers, detains ~100 patents and received many honours, with the last onesbeing the 2020’s Balzan prize and the CNRS 2022 Gold medal.

Alexander G. Ramm was born in Russia, emigrated to USA in 1979 and is a US citizen. He is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics with broad interests in analysis, scattering theory, inverse problems, theoretical physics, engineering, signal estimation, tomography, theoretical numerical analysis and applied mathematics. He is an author of 718 research papers, 20 research monographs and an editor of 3 books. He has lectured at many Universities throughout the world, gave more than 150 invited and plenary talks at various Conferences and had supervised 11 Ph.D students. He was Fulbright Research Professor in Israel and Ukraine; distinguished visiting professor in Mexico and Egypt; Mercator Professor in Germany; Research Professor in France; invited plenary speaker at the 7-th PACOM; he won Khwarizmi international award in 2004 and received other honors. A.G.Ramm was the first to prove uniqueness of the solution to inverse scattering problems with fixed-energy scattering data; the first to prove uniqueness of the solution to inverse scattering problems with non-over-determined scattering data and the first to study inverse scattering problems with under-determined scattering data. He studied inverse scattering problems for potential scattering and for scattering by obstacles. He solved many specific inverse problems and developed new methods and ideas in the area of inverse scattering problems. He introduced the notion of Property C for a pair of differential operators and applied Property C for one-dimensional and multi-dimensional inverse scattering problems. A. G. Ramm solved many-body wave scattering problem when the bodies are small particles of arbitrary shapes, assuming that a  d  λ, where a is the characteristic size of the particles, d is the minimal distance between neighboring particles, and λ is the wavelength in the material in which the small particles are embedded. Multiple scattering is essential under these assumptions. He used this theory to give a recipe for creating materials with a desired refraction coefficient and materials with a desired wave-focusing property. These results attracted attention of the scientists working in nanotechnology. A. G. Ramm gave formulas for the scattering amplitude for scalar and electromagnetic waves by small bodies of arbitrary shapes and analytical formulas for the polarizability tensors for these bodies. A. G. Ramm gave a solution to the Pompeiu problem, proved the Schiffer’s conjecture and gave many results about symmetry problems for PDE, including first symmetry results in harmonic analysis. A. G. Ramm has developed the Dynamical Systems Method (DSM) for solving linear and nonlinear operator equations, especially ill-posed. These results were used numerically and demonstrated practical efficiency of the DSM. A. G. Ramm developed random fields estimation theory for a wide class of random fields. A. G. Ramm has developed a theory of convolution equations with hyper-singular integrals and solved analytically integral equations with hyper-singular kernels. These results he applied to the study of the NSP (Navier-Stokes problem). As a result, he solved the millennium problem concerning the Navier-Stokes equations. A. G. Ramm formulated and proved the NSP paradox which shows the contradictory nature of the NSP and the non-existence of its solution on the interval t 2 [0; 1) for the initial data v0(x) 6≡ 0 and f(x; t) = 0. A. G. Ramm has introduced a wide class of domains with non-compact boundaries. He studied the spectral properties of the Schr¨ odinger operators in this class of such domains and gave suffient conditions for the absence of eigenvalues on the continuous spectrum of these operators. A. G. Ramm developed the theory of local, pseudolocal and geometrical tomography. He has proved a variety of the results concerning singularities of the Radon transform and developed multidimensional algorithms for finding discontinuities of signals from noisy discrete data.

Prof. Neal Tai-Shung Chung is a Jade Mountain Chair professor at Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan. Before joining NTUST, he was a Provost’s Chair Professor at the ChBE dept of National University of Singapore in 2011-2021. His research focuses on polymeric membranes for clean water, clear energy and pharmaceutic separation. In 2005-2008, he worked as a Senior Consultant for Hyflux, led and built its membrane research. He became a Fellow in the Academy of Engineering Singapore in 2012 and received IChemE (Institute of Chemical Engineers, UK) Underwood Medal for exceptional research in separations and Singapore President’s Technology Award in 2015. He was ranked as No. 7 in Chemical Engineering worldwide by the list of “the top 2% scientists in the world” published by Stanford University in 2020, http://www.globalauthorid.com/WebPortal/EliteOrder. 2020 and the top 0.1% of scholars on Water Purification over the past 10 years, as "World Expert" by Expertscape in 2021. Professor Raman Singh’s expertise includes: Alloy Nano/Microstructure-Corrosion Relationship, Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC), Corrosion/SCC of Biomaterials, Corrosion Mitigation by Novel Material (e.g., Graphene), Advanced and Environmentally Friendly Coatings, High Temperature Corrosion. He has supervised 50 PhD students. He has published over 245 peer-reviewed international journal publications, 15 books/book chapters and over 100 reviewed conference publications. His professional responsibilities include editor-in-chief of two journals, Fellow ASM International and Engineers Australia, over 40 keynote/plenary talks at international conferences (besides numerous invited talks), leadership (as chairperson) of a few international conferences.

Prof. Diwakar Tiwari is currently Senior Professor and Dean, School of Physical Sciences, at Mizoram University (A Central University), Aizawl (India). He did M.Sc. from R.D.V.V., Jabalpur (India) in 1988 and Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (India) in 1994. He has a vast experience of Research and Teaching in the area of environmental chemistry and advanced analytical chemistry. The major research area includes the environmental chemistry, in particular the use of advanced and hybrid materials in the remediation of aquatic environment, advanced oxidation process using titanium oxide based thin films and use of ferrate(VI) in oxidation of potential water pollutants including the EDCs and several PPCPs. Moreover, the development of electrochemical sensors using the advanced hybrid materials/nanocomposites for sensing of arsenic and EDCs is greatly conducted. He has received several National and International awards including Pool Scientist’ of CSIR, New Delhi (India), STA Fellowship of Japan (Received twice 1997 & 2000), Visiting Researcher, Chinese Academy ofSciences, China. Visiting Professor at Catholic Kwandong University, Korea for several times. Prof. Tiwari has more than 130research publications (Research Papers and Review articles)in various international repute journals with total citations of 3513 (Google Citations) having h-index of 35 and i10 index of 81. In addition published several book chapters with International Publishers including American Chemical Society. Three Books are published and received the recognition from Korean Society of Environmental Engineers as best foreign researcher in Korea. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Science & Technology Journal (UGC CARE Listed Journal) and Associate Editor of Environmental Engineering Research (Impact Factor 2.507) published by Korean Society of Environmental Engineers, Korea. Prof. Tiwari has visited many countries in his academic endeavours which includes Germany, Greece, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, China, Taiwan etc. He has completed several research projects including two International Projects. Prof. Tiwari developed an Arsenic Sensor with Korean Group which was already commercialized. Prof. Tiwari holds several administrative responsibilities in Mizoram University as well other Universities including Executive Council Member of Mizoram University and Dr. Hari Singh GourSagar Central University, Academic Council and School Board Members of Mizoram University. Board of Studies Chairman/Members of several Boards in Mizoram University. He is also presently the Director of DRDO-Industry-Academia-Centre of Excellence, MZU. The centre is fully supported by the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization), Govt. of India, New Delhi facilitating the research activities in academia.

She was awarded a Research Fellowship in Membrane Materials and Operations in 1999 from the Institute on Membrane and Technology (ITM) (former IRMERC)-National Research Council of Italy (CNR)and a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Materials in 2005 from the University of Calabria. In February 2014and for the second time in October 2018 she obtained the qualification of Associate Professor in Chemical Fundamentals of Technologies from the Italian Ministry for Instruction, University and Research (MIUR). Her research activities relate to membrane science and technology for sustainable processes. She is author of more than 70 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals, 1 book, more than 90contributions published in conferences proceedings,10chapters of scientific books, editor of 1bookon advanced membrane materials, guest-editor of 9 Special Issues in peer-reviewed international journals, and member of the Editorial Boards for a number of international peer reviewed journals. She has been an Invited Speaker in numerous international conferences. She serves as reviewer for several international scientific journals and as Expert Evaluator for International Funding Agencies.

Dr. Xin Ren is a Full Professor at the Centre of Innovative Structures, Deputy Director of the Department of Intelligent Construction and Management, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Tech University. He graduated with a Ph.D. from RMIT University, Australia in 2017. He is Vebleo Fellow; Winner of Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund in China; Excellent young teacher of "Qing Lan Project" in Jiangsu Province; Top-notch talents of middle-aged and young people in Nanjing. Jose Ordonez-Miranda is a CNRS researcher working at the laboratoryLIMMS located at The University of Tokyo, Japan. Hisresearch area is the transport of heat by phonons, photons, electrons, and polaritonspropagating in nanomaterials with applications in thermotronics. The Boltzmann transportequation and Maxwell's equations of electromagnetism are his main tools of theoreticalmodelling. He obtained his bachelor degree in applied physics at the National University JorgeBasadreGrohmann (UNJBG) in Tacna, Peru and received his Master in Physics from CINVESTAVin Merida, Mexico. Jose holds a Ph.D. degree in physics granted by CINVESTAV in collaboration with theUniversity of Colorado in Boulder, USA. He performed a postdoc in the laboratory EM2Cat the Ecole Centrale Paris, and was recruited by the CNRS in October 2015, for whichhe currently works as a full researcher (CRCN). Jose was awarded the prizeof outstanding young researcher granted by the International Photoacoustic and Photothermal Association (IPPA), in 2014, Shanghai, China.In 2018, Jose also received the medal Jorge Basadre as a distinguished researcher graduated from the UNJBG. In 2023, the National Council of Science, Technology andTechnological Innovation (Concytec) of Peru also granted him this distinctionfor life.
