Haibo Ge received his PhD degree in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Kansas in 2006, and then moved to The Scripps Research Institute for postdoctoral study. In 2009, he began his independent academic career at the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis and relocated to Texas Tech University in 2020. Research by his group is mainly focused on the development of novel methods for carbon–carbon and carbon–heteroatom bond formation through transition metal catalyzed C–H functionalization.

Professor Ramesh K. Agarwal is the William Palm Professor of Engineering in the department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Washington University in St. Louis. From 1994 to 2001, he was the Sam Bloomfield Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University in Kansas. From 1978 to 1994, he was the Program Director and McDonnell Douglas Fellow at McDonnell Douglas Research Laboratories in St. Louis. Dr. Agarwal received Ph.D in Aeronautical Sciences from Stanford University in 1975, M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 1968. Over a period of 40 years, Professor Agarwal has worked in various areas of Computational Science and Engineering – Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Acoustics and Electromagnetics, and Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization. He is the author and coauthor of over 600 publications. He has given many plenary, keynote and invited lectures at various national and international conferences worldwide in over fifty countries. He is a Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS) and American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). He has received many prestigious honors and national/international awards from various professional societies and organizations for his research contributions including the AIAA Reeds Aeronautics Award, SAE Medal of Honor, ASME Honorary Membership and Honorary Fellowship from Royal Aeronautical Society.

Sabu Thomas is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He is a Professor at the International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and Full Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering at the School of Chemical Sciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. His ground-breaking research has covered the areas of polymer science and engineering, polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, polymer blends, interpenetrating polymer networks, polymer membranes, green composites and nanocomposites, nanomedicine and green nanotechnology. Prof. Thomas has received several national and international awards in recognition for his work, and recently received Honoris Causa (DSc) from the University of South Brittany, Lorient, France, in recognition for his contributions to polymer science and engineering. Prof. Thomas has published over 1400 peer- reviewed research papers, reviews and book chapters. He has co-edited more than 183 books. Currently he is having an H-index of 127.

Vakhtang Barbakadze has his expertise in isolation and structure elucidation of a new series of plant polyethers, which are endowed with pharmacological properties as anticancer agents. Besides, he interested in enantioselective synthesis and biological activities of basic monomeric moiety of these biopolyethers, synthesis of enantiomerically pure epoxides as chiral building blocks for the production of synthetic analogues of natural polyethers. In 1978 and 1999 he has completed his Ph.D and D.Sci., respectively. In 2006 up to date he is the Head of Department of Plant biopolymers and Chemical Modification at Tbilisi State Medical University Institute of Pharmacochemistry. In 1996 and 2002 he has been a visiting scientist at Utrecht University, The Netherlands, by University Scholarship and The Netherlands organization for scientific research (NWO) Scholarship Scientific Program, respectively. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals. In 2004 he was Georgian State Prize Winner in Science and Technology

Dimitrios P. Nikolelis received his PhD from University of Athens in 1976 and he is a professor of analytical and environmental chemistry in Department of Chemistry, University of Athens. Prof. Dimitrios Nikolelis has coordinated 3 European Projects on environmental biosensors (CIPA96-0231, IC15-CT96-0804 and QLK3-2000-01311). He also was twice a. NATO Director in the following Advanced Research Workshops: 1. Biosensors for Direct Monitoring of Environmental Pollutants in Field, Smolenice, Slovakia,: May 1996 and 2. Portable biosensors for the Rapid Detection of Biochemical Weapons of Terrorism, July 2012. Prof. Dimitrios Nikolelis has over 200 scientific papers in scientific journals and conferences. Rodrigo Soto holds a lecturer position on Chemical Engineering at the University of Barcelona since 2021. He holds a BsC on Chemical Engineering (2011), a MsC on Environmental Engineering (2012) and a MsC on University Teaching (2017) and a European PhD on Engineering and Advanced Technologies (2017), all from the University of Barcelona. He worked as Post-doctoral Researcher from 2017-2020 and later as Research Fellow from 2020-2021 at the University of Limerick (Ireland). Since 2013, he has been involved in several research projects with important chemical and pharmaceutical companies such as Repsol YPF, Dow Chemical Co., Astellas Pharmaceuticals and Clarochem Ltd. (Ireland). He has published 24 research papers in top scientific journals and participated in about 30 international conferences, where also has taken responsibilities as chairmanship and scientific organizing committee. The production of new renewable sources of energy under a sound respect for the environment and the efficient use of raw material resources are his professional leitmotifs. The chemical reactor engineering and, particularly, heterogeneous catalysis thermodynamics and kinetics are his main areas of expertise. Moreover, he is devoted to the pharmaceutical compounds manufacturing and the modeling of the kinetics of nucleation and crystal growth processes of active pharmaceutical ingredients, including solution thermodynamics.

I am a Lecturer in the Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering Department at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Natal in 2016. I was a Research Fellow at the University of Natal from 2018 to 2020. My Ph.D. thesis was about the separation of noble gases using gas hydrate technology. I have been interested to work and research in the gas hydrates area as the gas hydrates provide various positive applications and novel solutions in CO2 capture, gas storage, air-conditioning systems, water treatment, and gas separation. During my research, I have been involved in different projects in the area of Thermodynamics, Kinetics of Gas Hydrates, Cold Storage, Gas Separation, Water Treatment, and CO2 Capture which has led me to the publication of more than 32 ISI-ranked peer-reviewed journal papers as well as two book chapters. My publications have gained more than 463 citations and 15 h-index up to date. I have also presented my work at various international conferences. My publications in accredited journal papers have given me the reputation to be selected as a reviewer by different journals such as Journal of Chemical Engineering Data, International Journal of Energy Research, Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, International Journal of Ambient Energy, Journal of Dispersion Science, and Technology and Fluid Phase equilibria Journal.

Ali Shaeri has a PhD in Process Design Engineering. He is expert in the Refinery’s Process Units Simulation, Equipment Design, and Operation. He is teaching related courses at the university as well and working in the National Iranian Oil Engineering & Construction Co. for 15 years. Since then he joined Process Specialty Committee and permanent member of Iranian Petroleum Standard from 2007 to present. He is the first designer of Mini Refinery in Iran. He has to his credit more than five ISI papers, as well as, 20 publications including papers in referred journals, books and conferences papers.

Prof. D. K. Dhawan is presently working as a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biophysics and has previously worked as a Professor of Biophysics for 15 years. He also founded the Centre for Nuclear Medicine at Panjab University, Chandigarh in the year 2006 and headed the same for 9 years and was also the Coordinator, of the Centre for Medical Physics in the year 2013. Professor Dhawan did his Ph.D. at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India in the year 1984. Prior to his Ph.D., he worked in the Radiation Medicine Centre of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India, and was awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Radioisotopes Techniques in the year 1978. His research areas are radiation medicine, toxicology, and cancer. He has published 225 research articles and 184 are listed in Scopus during 38 years of his research career. Prof. Dhawan has supervised 46 Ph.D. and 47 Master’s theses of students and currently is supervising work of 6 Ph.D. students. He has completed 18 research projects funded by various scientific organizations. Recently, his research entitled” A radioactive trimer complex for the detection of tumors” was granted a Patent by the Government of India. Prof. Dhawan is a Fellow of the Union for International Cancer Control, Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists, an Honorary Fellow of the Indian College of Nuclear Medicine, and a Fellow of the International Medical Olympicus Association. For his contribution to science, he was given Oration award by the Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists at its 38th Annual conference held in Chennai, India, and was also given the best researcher award by Panjab University in the year 2019 and received the best papers award twice during the Medical Olympics conference, Greece. Prof. Dhawan has been awarded University Grants Commission-Basic Science Research (UGC-BSR) Faculty Fellowship by the University Grants Commission of India in the year 2020.
