Dr. Honjo is a distinguished professor and deputy director-general at the Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Study. He recently became a director of Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology. He is well known for his discovery of AID that is essential for class switch recombination and somatic hypermutation. He has established the basic conceptual framework of class switch recombination. In addition, he discovered PD-1, a negative coreceptor at the effector phase of an immune response, and showed that PD-1 modulation contributes to treatments of tumor, viral infection and autoimmunity. For these contributions, Dr. Honjo has received many awards, including the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, JMA supreme award of merit, Imperial Prize, Japan Academy Prize, Robert Koch Prize, Order of Culture, the Tang Prize, the Kyoto Prize. Elected as a foreign associate of National Academy of Sciences, USA, as a member of the German Academy of Natural Scientists, and also as a member of Japan Academy.

Dr. Gupta did her BS and MS in India. She then joined Prof. KnudNierhaus group at Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, Berlin, Germany for her PhD and obtained her degree in the area of ribosome biology and protein translation. After that she joined Yale University for her postdoc training.During her postdoc training she extensively performed studies to identify new regulator in cancer growth and progression. Many of her studies are published in high impact journals such as Cancer Discovery, Blood, PNAS and Elife, among others. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor atUniversity of Alabama at Birmingham and Associate scientist at O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Her lab focusses on identifying critical cancer vulnerability genes that can be targeted for gynecological cancer therapy. To this end, she uses both unbiased functional genomics approaches and hypothesis-driven research. Her research work is supported from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of NIH and the Department of Defense (DoD). Additionally, she has and continues to teach and train next generation of scientist and educators including students, postdoctoral fellows and research scientists.

Dipali Sharma's research work focuses on various aspects of breast carcinogenesis, particularly the molecular and hormonal mechanisms underlying breast tumor growth, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, invasion, migration, and breast cancer prevention. Her studies have established important markers for the development of acquired tamoxifen resistance. They found that higher expression levels of Mediator-1 in the breast tumors significantly correlated with tamoxifen resistance in ER-positive breast cancer patients on adjuvant tamoxifen monotherapy. she has also made important contributions to the field of obesity-cancer connection and has established important links between adipocytokines and cancer progression; this understanding has had a major translational impact. To understand the molecular mechanisms involved in breast cancer progression, we are exploring genes, molecules, hormones, and cellular processes that could cause and promote cancer. she also studying the role and importance of adipocytokines and bioactive food components in breast carcinogenesis for the last several years. Innovation in our research is demonstrated by seminal discoveries in adipocytokines and bioactive compound research. For example, we were first to demonstrate that leptin promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells. Studies from our lab have shown various oncogenic effects of adipokine-leptin and elucidated the underlying molecular mechanisms. We have shown that leptin promotes proliferation as well as the metastatic potential of breast carcinoma specifically augmenting the invasion and migration potential. Our studies showed the involvement of multiple signaling pathways in leptin function. Using various in vitro assays, in vivo mouse models (chemically-induced, transgenic, xenograft, diet-induced obesity models), and analysis of human breast cancer samples and correlation with clinicopathological data, we have shown the importance of leptin in breast tumor progression. We are actively investigating novel molecular targets and pathways involved in the chemopreventive role of bioactive components. They are examining the alterations in the microbiome and how microbial dysbiosis and metabolomic changes fuel cancer progression.

Dr. Richard Pestell is a clinician-scientist who was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in the 2019 Queen's Birthday Honors for distinguished service to medicine, and to medical education, as a researcher and physician in the fields of endocrinology and oncology. He has >700 published works and holds patents in cancer diagnostics and treatment including light-activated gene therapy. He founded biotechnology companies (ProstaGene, LightSeed,EcoGenome), Departments and Institutes, led cancer not–for-profits and directed two USA Cancer Centers (Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University. He was most recently Executive Vice President Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA. TJU has an annual budget of $5.6B, eleven hospitals and 30,000 employees in the Philadelphia region, with more than 160 undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Pestell completed his M.B., BS at the University of Western Australia, he conducted clinical training in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Endocrinology training. He received M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Melbourne Australia and his MBA from NYU, Stern School of Business. He was the Winthrop Fellow at Harvard Medical School and was Clinical Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is past President of INCTR (USA), a global not-for-profit working to impact cancer in the developing world, and was founding Director of the Delaware Valley Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (University of Delaware, Thomas Jefferson University, Nemours and Christiana). He was recipient of the Irma T. Hirschl Weil Caulier Career Scientist Award, Diane Belfer Faculty Scholar in Cancer Research, Gragnani endowed Chair, the Pfeiffer Award, the Harrison award, the R.D. Wright medal, Komen Light of Life award, two Doctors Honoris Causa, the Raine Distinguished Professor, Advance Global Australian Award (biotechnology), the Eric Susman Prize, Jamie Brooke Lieberman Remembrance Award, Susan G. Komen. Dr. Pestell had identified key genetic targets for cancer stem cells governing the onset and progression of cancer, with issued patents that have led to current clinical trials. His papers have been published in journals including Cell, Science, Nature Medicine, Molecular Cell and EMBO J. His work is well cited (>77,000 citations, H index 145) and he is ranked in the world by Google Scholar for oncology, prostate cancer, #1 in the world for his area of research “cell-cycle”.

Dr. Matin has been a full professor at Stanford University for several years and is affiliated with several programs, including the Stanford Cancer Research Institute. He has contributed to many areas of biological research, including discovery of new drugs and therapeutic enzymes and their improvement as well as their specific targeting to cancer (and other diseases). He did his Ph. D. at UCLA, spent some years in the Netherlands (State University of Groningen), where he directed a research group, before joining Stanford. He is a recipient of numerous awards and honors.

Dr. Farid Menaa is an inter-and multi-disciplinary professional with a worldwide reputation. He has three international post-doctoral terms in Oncology, Dermatology, and Hematology; MBA Entrepreneurship and MD candidate. During his ongoing career, he has mainly contributed to the identification and functions of new human disease-causing genes and variants, formulated natural products for anti-aging, and developed innovative theranostic strategies against cancers, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, and infectious diseases. He has more than 10 years of experience either in the academic, hospital, or industrial sectors. As Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President R&D at Fluorotronics, Inc. he actively participated in the development of the disruptive “Carbon-Fluorine Spectroscopy”. Dr. Menaa collaborates with various organizations worldwide. He is a member of several prestigious medical and scientific organizations and editorial boards in the field of medicine, science, technology, and business, including in the nano-segment. He has authored more than 100 articles including research and review articles, books, book chapters, textbooks, proceedings, and has participated in over 200 scientific international events including as co-organizer, keynote speaker, chairman. Dr. Aysegul Sahin received her medical degree at the University of Ankara School of Medicine and completed a residency at the Oregon Health Sciences University. She completed fellowships at the University of Iowa and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She serves as section chief of Breast Pathology and as the Director of Educational Activities in the Department of Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has more than 20 years of extensive hands-on experience training clinical fellows and served as the director of the Breast Pathology fellowship programs. She has been a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee of MD Anderson since 1999 and has served in multiple capacities, including chair. In recognition of her contributions to institutional and local teaching activities, she was inducted into the Kenneth I. Shine Health Science Education Academy at the University of Texas as a Distinguished Teacher in 2009. She served on the Education Committee and, in 2014, was elected to be President of this prestigious academy. She has actively participated in and continues to organize, speak at, and promote a significant number of meetings and conferences related to pathology and breast health. In recognition of her educational activities, she has received the University of Texas Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award, the MD Anderson William Randolph Hearst Foundation Faculty Achievement Award and the Houston Society of Clinical Pathologists Harland J. Spjut Award. She is an expert member of the Editorial Board of the World Health Organization (WHO) Blue Book on the Classification of Breast Tumours. Her major research interest is translational breast cancer research that includes morphologic features of invasive and in situ carcinomas and high-risk lesions, biomarkers of breast cancer progression, and prognostic and predictive marker evaluations in breast cancer. Dr. Sahin is a Pathology Core leader of many NCI-funded research programs, including MD Anderson’s Breast SPORE and P01 grants. She has published over 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts on breast pathology.

Adele Webb earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Akron, her Master’s in Nursing from The Ohio State University, and her Ph.D. in Nursing from Wayne State University. She began her nursing career as a NICU nurse and transitioned into the emergency room in a pediatric setting. In the early 1990s, Adele began focusing on HIV in under-developed countries. Over the last 25 years, Adele’s focus has been on international nurse capacity building as it relates to both communicable and non-communicable diseases. She has received extensive funding for her international work and has published her findings in several refereed journals. She has contributed to WHO guidelines, testified to the Institute of Medicine, and given testimony to the White House on nursing workforce issues. A sought-out speaker on international nursing care issues, Adele continues to collaborate with the World Health Organization as well as the World NCD Congress. This work has resulted in Adele’s contributions to nursing capacity building in 43 countries. In recognition of her body of work, Adele has received not only the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care Lifetime Achievement Award, but she has also received the Nicholas Andrew Cummings award for Excellence in Interprofessional Practice from the National Academies of Practice. Adele is an International Council of Nurses Global Health Fellow, a Fellow in the National Academies of Practice, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing.

Prof. Daehee Kang, chairman, board of directors, Korean Association of Medical Colleges, and dean, Seoul National University College of Medicine, South Korea, is an eminent doctor and an administrator based in Seoul. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine, South Korea, with a major in preventive medicine and has a Ph.D. in environmental health sciences from Johns Hopkins University, US. He was appointed professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine at Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1996 and was a director of external affairs and development of the hospital from 2010-11. His research interests include discovering the biomarkers of cancer occurrence and the therapeutic effect. He has conducted high-throughput and genome-wide cancer molecular epidemiological approaches about breast cancer, childhood leukemia, stomach cancer, and bladder cancer. Dr. Kang speaks about the latest developments taking place in the domains of medicine and healthcare in South Korea.

Prof. Eva Lieto is an associate professor of Surgery at the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli (Italy). She is particularly interested in oncologic surgery of the gastrointestinal tract and she is also the Coordinator of the Breast Unit of the same university. She is Review Editor for Frontiers Surgical Oncology and a member of the Editorial Board of the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She has published more than 80 papers in reputed journals with an H-index of 33 (Up to 100 words).

Pranee is currently a Professor of Behaviour Sciences at the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity, Vietnam. She is a medical anthropologist and has interests in the health of women, children, immigrants, refugees, older people, and transgender individuals. In terms of health issues, Pranee is very interested in issues relating to motherhood, reproductive health, sexuality, sexual health, mental health and chronic illnesses such as breast cancer and HIV/AIDS. She has conducted several research projects on these health issues both in Australia and in Asia, primarily in Thailand and Malaysia. Recently, Pranee has focused her research on sexuality and sexual health issues of Asian women, refugee/immigrant women, young people, and trans women from ethnic minority backgrounds as well as on the impact of environment and pandemics on people's health. She has published over 300 publications thus far. Pranee is also a qualitative researcher and has written many textbooks on this approach. She has also written a number of textbooks on health-related issues. Some of her textbooks (Qualitative Research Methods, Research Methods in Health and Evidence-Based Practice, Social Determinants of Health, & Public Health) have been adopted widely, both in Australia and overseas. Pranee has previously worked at Western Sydney University, La Trobe University, Monash University and the University of Melbourne in Australia.

Dr Rosnah Sutan is an Associate Professor at the Medical Faculty National University of Malaysia (UKMMC). Her primary area of expertise is Family Health Physician and her research interest is public health related to reproductive health, maternal care, and perinatal health. Her PHD dissertation was on the determinant of unexplained stillbirth. Her teaching career spans over 15 years. She has initiates psychosocial support group for perinatal bereavement couple in UKMMC and works with families who have suffered late loss of a baby. Her research team has collaborated with Perinatal Institute of United Kingdom for using customized growth chart (GROW apps) in preventing stillbirth and early identification of intrauterine growth restriction management in UKMMC. Currently, she has initiated a research in digitalization of maternal health information system with artificial intelligence company in promoting mother’s empowerment and monitoring to provide quality data for evidence based. She has strong background in health service research related to primary care setting especially on health seeking behaviour and social determinant of health. She has published several articles related to maternal and child health care and perinatal bereavement. She has also led many workshops in Malaysia on maternal and neonatal health monitoring and evaluation with the collaboration of University of Aberdeen (IMMPACT) to strengthen MCH services planning using logframe matrix analysis framework.

Professor Ri-Cheng Chian is Director at Center for Reproductive Medicine, Shanghai 10th People’s Hospital of Tongji University, P. R. of China. Before joining the current position, Dr. Chian was an Associate Professor with Tenure at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Dr. Chian is the key person in the development of in vitro maturation (IVM) of human oocytes for clinical application and for cryopreservation of human oocytes which resulted in pregnancies and live births at McGill University Health Center (MUHC) in Canada. He has patents and products licensed with several companies as well. Dr. Chian published more than 200 research papers in journals and gave presentations at many international/regional conferences. Dr. Chian edited three books and contributed to various book chapters. As an invited guest speaker, Dr. Chian delivered lectures in many different societies and countries. Mariko Makino born in 1954 in Kiryu City , Gumma. My ancestor was the first man to export silk from Yokohama port to New York. (Edo-era) I am the vice president at Makino Clinic, which was the special clinic for Mental Health. I started to see eating disorder patients in 1986 just after passed the national examination for medical doctors at Toho university hospital receiving guidance from professor Sueharu Tsutsui. Experience to treat eating disorders up until now, I saw over 2000 patients.

Dr. Chan is an Associate Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. She earned her Ph.D. degrees at National Taiwan University. She undertook her postdoctoral studies at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center from 2008-2014. Dr. Chan was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2014 and promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure at SUNY-Stony Brook University in 2020. She moved to Roswell Park Cancer Center in 2021. Dr. Chan received several accolades, which includes the Odyssey Outstanding Research Publication Award, Breast Cancer SPORE Career Development Award, Susan G. Komen Career Catalyst Research Award, the Stony Brook Medicine Excellence in Early Career Research Award, and recently the prestigious Molecular Pharmacology Early Career Award by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. The focus of the Chan lab is to investigate the roles of cancer-associated E3 ligases in cancer metabolic reprogramming, progression, tumor immunity, and chemotherapy resistance by complementary approaches including cell biological and biochemical methods, informatics tools, animal models, and clinical specimens. Her lab is also interested in delineating the mechanisms by which metabolic drivers and epigenetic modifiers promote tumor progression and metastasis. Her work has been published in Cell, Nat Cell Bio, Molecular Cell, Nat. Commun, JCI, EMBO Rep., etc.

Dr. Mayumi Jijiwa is an assistant professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Her researches focus on investigating biomarkers of breast cancer and the mechanism of pediatric cancer. She earned her MD and PhD from Nagoya University in Japan. After working as a neurologist for five years and an assistant professor of the Department of Pathology for four years, she started her postdoctoral career in the US in 2009. She has contributed to the study of glioblastoma stem cells in the UCLA and the Ohio State University and started researching pediatric cancer at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center in 2012. In 2019, she joined the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine for her research of the small RNA as detection markers of breast cancer.

Y. Kuwahara received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, and the Dr. Eng. degree from Saitama University, Urawa, Japan in 1978 and 1995, respectively. He joined NEC Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, in 1978. In 1999, he joined Shizuoka University, Shizuoka, Japan as an Associate Professor, where in 2006 he became a Professor. His research area includes antennas and propagation, wireless power transfer, and microwave imaging. He retired from Shizuoka University in March 2021 and is now an honorary professor at Shizuoka University and a visiting professor at Aichi Medical University. His current research interests are microwave imaging technology for breast cancer screening. He is a Senior member of IEEE and a Director of Tokai Branch of IEICE.

Dr. Sarkar received her Ph.D. from Purdue University on Biological Engineering. She did her Post-doctoral research at NCI-NIH and, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Sarkar gained extensive experience working with breast cancer cell lines as well as in vivo xenograft models. She has published her work in numerous journals such as PNAS, oncogene, MCB, Cancer Research, Oncotarget etc. At Texas A & M, Department of Biology, Dr. Sarkar’s lab is focusing on the role EMT in angiogenesis and vascular mimicry and alsoinvestigating the anti-cancer properties of different metabolites.

Lorenzo Andreani’s research work focuses on various aspects of bone and soft tissue tumors. He works in Orthopaedic and TraumatologyUnit at the University of Pisa. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Pisa, and the specialization in Orthopaedic and Traumatology at the University of Pisa, and his Ph.D. in Clinical and Translational Science from Pisa University. He has received funding for his international work and has published his findings in several refereed journals. Dr. Andreani edited contributed to various book chapters. As an invited guest speaker, Dr. Andreani delivered lectures in many different societies and countries. Dr. Andreani is acting as a reviewer for many other scientific journals including MuscculoskeletaleSugery, Archives of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, European Review for Medical and Pharmacological Sciences, Prosthetics, and Orthotics International. He has actively participated in and continues to organize, speak at, and promote a significant number of meetings and conferences related to pathology and tumor health. He is continuously involved in teaching and formation for Residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology, focusing on bone and soft tissue tumors and bone metastatic lesions. Dr. Andreani speaks English, Italian and has some knowledge of French and German.

My research is in the field of Consumer Health Informatics, Digital Health Equity, and User Experience, specializing in interventions by using Mobile Applications, Wearable Devices and Health Data Analysis. Within these main pursuits, my research interests include: 1) Finding user’s needs and connecting them with their motivation, which leads to changes in their recognition and health behaviors, 2) Designing mobile applications or interventions and conducting clinical trials for verifying the effects, 3) Analyzing mathematical and statistical data as well as the natural language process using SPSS, R, and Python. Although I have been working in the field of nursing, I would like to continue to research nursing and medical technology. Especially through my Ph.D. program, which is an interdisciplinary program that combines medical technology, nursing, and computer science skills. Therefore, not only am I very proficient in collaborating with other field experts, but I also enjoy it. Another one of my strengths is that there are abilities and experiences opening up for my future research target population. Because I have research experience in the intervention management of physical and mental health in various groups (e.g., children, low-income elderly, obese adults, inpatients and their guardian groups). I look forward to the following in the future research: Topic 1): Developing a methodology and system for deriving user’s needs not only about mobile applications, but also mobile devices including wearable devices and digital therapeutics, Topic 2): Designing and developing long-term double-blinded randomized clinical trials using digital healthcare program with connected devices to target users’ health behaviors and digital health equity, Topic 3): Creating a user-centered UI/UX design of health mobile application using consumer health big data including gene data.

Dr. Pei-Chin Chuang received her PhD in the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Medical College, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 2006 working on investigating the molecular mechanisms responsible for the development and maintenance of endometriosis, which is a common gynecological disorder in women of reproductive age. During her two years of postdoctoral training in the Department of Physiology, National Cheng Kung University, she also participated in elucidation of the pathological mechanisms of endometrial cancer and cervical cancer. Following her postdoctoral training, she has held position as independent principal investigator of Department of Medical Research, at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. Her recent studies are focused on two different areas: first is to continue her contribution to the endometriosis studies, especially focus on the role of prostaglandins, fibroblast growth factors, or estrogen-regulated factors on the multiple pathological processes of endometriosis such as immune- dysregulation, neo-angiogenesis and lesion propagation. Second is to explore the cellular and molecular mechanisms of radioresistance-associated organ specific metastatic potential among gynecological cancers (Focused on human cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancers). She particularly interests in the exploration of tumor-microenvironment and immune-modulation. She recently also integrates the non-coding RNA studies involving in stem-cell based regeneration medicine. She has recent been invited as the distinguished young scientist’s speaker in several international conferences including the Asian Conference on Endometriosis (ACE), Federations of Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies (FAOPS), Hong Kong- Taiwan Physiology Symposium, and the Joint Annual Conference of Biomedical Science (JACBC). She is also the recipient of various prestigious awards and honors for her research accomplishments, including Excellence Award of PhD Dissertation of National Cheng Kung University, Second Place Presentation Award winner in International Symposium on Cell Signaling and Gene Regulation and the First Place Presentation Award winner in reward of 15th Symposium Advances in Cellular and Molecular Biology; Dr. Chieh-Tein Hsu’s Award.

She is helping and supporting breast cancer women in their darkest hours.

After completing her PhD in the field of circulating tumor cells in solid tumors at the University Duisburg-Essen, Ivonne Nel continued her research at the University of Leipzig, Germany. She is leading the Clinical Gynaeco-oncology Lab. Her focus is the investigation of potential biomarkers in liquid biopsies of patients with gynecological malignancies and breast cancer. She has published various papers and is an active peer reviewer for reputed journals.

Francisca Rego is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Has a PhD in Palliative Care, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, Portugal, and a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Nominated as Executive Secretariat of the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and a member of the International Chair of Bioethics. Works in the area of Palliative Care, Bioethics, and Social and Health Sciences, and is continuously involved in the areas of teaching and research that resulted in the publication of several scientific articles and continuous training.

Masabumi Shibuya, MD, Ph.D., graduated from Medical School, University of Tokyo, Japan in 1970, and worked in the University Hospital as a medical doctor for 4 years. He then moved to the Institute of Medical Science, UT (IMSUT) for basic research. He stayed at the Rockefeller University, New York for 3 years as a postdoctoral fellow from 1979 to 1982, then came back to IMSUT, and worked as a leader of the research group (as a Professor, 1990-2007). He retired from IMSUT, now an Emeritus Professor UT. He is now working in Jobu University, Gunma, Japan, as President and Director in the Institute of Physiology and Medicine, continuing research on cancer and preeclampsia. In 1990, his group discovered the FLT1 (Fms-like tyrosine kinase-1) gene and published about 300 papers.

Baila Maqbool MD was born and raised in a small town of Pakistan. She has been enthusiastic about women's rights and equitable health since an early age. During her high school years, she worked with World Food Program to provide prenatal care and supplies to women in small villages of Pakistan. To pursue her interest in medicine, she decided to become a medical doctor. Dr. Maqbool graduated from Aga Khan University in 2013. She then completed her General Surgery residency at the University of New Mexico, the USA in 2019. After getting fellowship-trained in Trauma and Surgical Critical care, Dr. Maqbool decided to stay at UNM as a practicing surgeon to continue to help the underserved minorities. Currently, she holds board certification in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care from the American Board of Surgery. Her secondary interest includes equitable health delivery, surgical ethics, and surgical education delivery.

Born in 1990, Marialuisa Piccolo graduated with honors and academic mention in 2014 in Pharmacy at the Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine "FEDERICO II" - the University of Naples, where she subsequently obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science in 2018, discussing a thesis entitled "Preclinical development of anticancer Ru-based nanoaggregates in breast cancer models". In 2017 she carried out a research period at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University "Paris Descartes" in Paris, participating in a research project entitled "Erythropoietin function on tumor engraftment and growth in the 4T1 mammary carcinoma mouse model ". Since 2017 she has been a young member of the Italian Society of Biochemistry (SIB), and since 2020 she has been the Associate Editor of the peer-reviewed journal “Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy - Journal - Elsevier”. Her main scientific interest is in the preclinical development of new multi-target antitumor compounds for the treatment of breast cancer. Holder of Post-Doc research grants in the years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 she continues to carry out the scientific activity in the Biochemistry group of the Department of Pharmacy (BiochemLab).

Doctor Saïda Douki Dedieu has completed her medical curriculum in Tunis (Tunisia) and psychiatric studies from René Descartes University (Paris, France) and is currently professor emeritus of psychiatry at the Faculty of medicine of Tunis. She has headed a psychiatric department at Tunis for 30 years than settled in Lyon (France) where she has been serving as an associated professor until 2010. Her research, published in four books and more than 200 papers, mainly focused on cross-cultural psychiatry and women’s mental health. She has chaired many scientific associations (Federation of Arab psychiatrists, French-speaking psychiatry and neurology congress, Tunisian psychiatric Association).

Dr. Usha Sundralingam, is an Early Career Researcher whose interest lies in the field of Pharmaceutics. She endeavors to apply her experiences in the field of liposomal drug delivery on the development of nanocarriers for drug delivery, particularly revolving around topical and transdermal applications, and also natural products. She also has a keen interest in the field of breast cancer, specifically on topical and transdermal delivery for the treatment of breast cancer.

Lucia Eustace is a midwife specialist working at Mugana District Designated Hospital as a Nursing and Midwifery manager and also teaching at St Magdalene School of Nursing and Midwifery. As a clinical midwife with administrative duties, she mentors and supports nurse- midwives and students for better provision of reproductive, maternal and child health services in the district. Eustace has been working with Ministry of Health and Tanzania Midwifery Association in preparing and revising various midwifery guidelines, training manuals and curriculum. She is collaborating with various partners in the District to improve nutritional status of under-five children through supportive supervision in the health facilities and in the community settings. Further, she has been working with Lake Zone National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) in accrediting health training institutions. Eustace has published 2 papers in the international peer review journals.

Vitor Alves Marques is in physical education by profession, he holds licenciaded in Physical Education and currently pursuing a doctorate in Health Science at the Federal University of Goias. Vitor is a master in Health Science at the Federal University of Goias, and his dissertation is about the effects of chemotherapy treatment on muscle performance in women with breast cancer in the year 2018. He is a member of the Laboratory of Physiology of the Exercise and Nutrition and Healthy at the Federal University of Goias (LAFINS/UFG)and also is a member the Laboratory of Analyzes of Human Movement (LAMOVH/UFG)

After getting his M.D. degree from Turkey, Dr. Ozpolatreceived his Ph.D. degree in ImmunologyThe University of Texas- MD Anderson Cancer Center Houston, TX, USA. After hispost doctoral training at MD Anderson Cancer, Dr. Ozpolat was promoted to faculty position and has been serving as a faculty for 15 years at MD Anderson, which is currently ranked as #1 cancer center in the US. Dr. Ozpolat’s expertise include Immunology, Cancer biology, Genetics, Gene therapy, Nanotechnology and development of highly targeted therapeutics.Dr. Ozpolat’s laboratory currently focuses on 1) identification of molecular targets in highly aggressive cancers such as triple-negative breast cancer, pancreatic, lung and ovarian cancers, 2) Development of highly targeted therapeutics for survival pathways including EF2K, KRAS and other such as FOXM1, autophagy, and oncogenic microRNAs such as miR155, miR-484 and long-noncoding RNAs as potential targets using gene silencing therapies and small molecule inhibitors.Dr. Ozpolat has several patents for development of targeted therapeutics and published more than 137 publications (88research papers, 20 book chapter sand 24 review articles) in peer-reviewed high impact journals such as Cell, Nature, New England J of Medicine, JBC, PNAS, Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research) and contributed to textbooks. Dr. Ozpolat currently serve as an editor, associate editor and editorial board members of several journals including, Translational Genetics and Genomics, Nanomedicine & Nanotechnology, Advances in Modern Oncology Research, Journal of Clinical Breast Cancer Research and work as reviewer for NIH/NCI grants, US Congressionally Directed Medical research Breast cancer and Immunology study sections.Dr. Ozpolat is a member of Center for Targeted Therapy (CTT) at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Graduate School of Biomedical sciences at The University of Texas. DrOzpolat received many research and patent awards in recognition of research excellence.

Dr. Sidney Iriana received his MD degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) with concurrent research training under Dr. Neelam Sharma-Walia PhD at the institution's Center for Cancer Cell Biology, Immunology, and Infection investigating the complexity of the tumor microenvironment in the biology of inflammatory breast cancer. Their work was featured in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. While earning his Bachelors of Science at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) he held a Research Assistant title under Professors Yin Tintut and Linda Demer in the School of Medicine investigating features of postmenopausal osteoporosis influenced by PTH effects and cardiovascular mechanisms with multiple publications including the first author of a textbook chapter in Cardiovascular Calcification and Bone Mineralization, a Springer publication. He has continued to work with both universities creating research foci relevant to his interest in addressing women's health disparities. He is currently training at Saint Agnes Medical Center residency program in Internal Medicine with future interests including improving the delivery of care to under-represented communities.

He also started researching Oncology surgery and brain tumors after learning research activities from the world's top professors.

She has completed her degree from University Science and Research Branch Tehran, Iran and she is a researcher in Breast Cancer Machine Learning. She has published many papers in reputed journals and recently has been working on deep-learning models in brest cancer. She has also been so curious about finding machine learning methods which could be beneficial for predicting breast cancer patients.
