John Texter is Professor Emeritus of Polymer and Coating Technology at Eastern Michigan University. He has been Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dispersion Science and Technology, Associate Editor of the Journal of Nanoparticle Research, and Section Editor for Applications of Current Opinion in Colloid and Interface Science. He has worked for and consults through Strider Research Corporation, and he has worked for Eastman Kodak Company in various areas of dispersion and emulsion technology. He received his undergraduate engineering education and his PhD in Chemistry from Lehigh University, where he studied at the Zettlemoyer Center for Surface and Coatings Research. He is an experienced lecturer, organizer, and technical project manager. He is an inventor, editor, and author of over 250 publications including five books, 47 issued U.S. patents, and many research and review articles. He has received numerous awards and honors, and he is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, the American Chemical Society, and of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology. He has served as Chairman of the ACS Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry, Chairman of the Chemistry at Interfaces Gordon Research Conference, Chair of the Chemistry of Supramolecules and Assemblies Gordon Research Conference, and organizer of many international symposia. He is a visiting guest Chair Professor at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science of Soochow University and has been a visiting professor at the Colloid and Interfaces Max Planck Institute in Potsdam (Golm), at the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kumamoto University, and at the Fachhochschule Esslingen. His research focuses on stimuli responsive polymers, particles, and materials and the general area of dispersion science and practice.

Prof. Neal Tai-Shung Chung is a Jade Mountain (i.e., Yushan) Chair professor at Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan. Before joining NTUST, he was a Provost’s Chair Professor at the ChBE dept of National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2011-2021. His research focuses on polymeric membranes for clean water, clear air, clear energy and pharmaceutic separation. In 2005-2008, he worked as a Senior Consultant for Hyflux, led and built its membrane research team. Prof. Shaobin Wang obtained the degrees of BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Peking University and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland. He has been a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University and is now a Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials, the University of Adelaide. His research interests focus on nanomaterial synthesis and application for adsorption and catalysis, fuel and energy conversion and environmental remediation. He has published more than 500 refereed journal papers with citations over 51000 and H-index= 127 (Google Scholar). He was awarded 2012 Thomson Reuters Citation & Innovation Awards in Australia and is listed as a highly cited researcher in Engineering and Chemistry in 2016-2020. Professor Guillermo (Gui) Bazan received his B.Sc.(summa cum laude) from the University of Ottawa. His Ph.D. studies were carried out at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Richard R. Schrock. He was a postdoctoral associate at the California Institute of Technology with Professor John E. Bercaw. Gui began his independent academic career at the University of Rochester in 1992. He moved to the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1998, where he held appointments in the Departments of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Materials. Amar Mohanty is a Full Professor and OAC Distinguished Research Chair in Sustainable Biomaterials and is the Director of the Bioproducts Discovery & Development Centre at the University of Guelph. He is a former Michigan State University professor and is an international leader in the field of bioplastics, biocomposites and advanced biorefinery. His research focuses on engineering value-added uses of biomass wastes and industrial co-products from agro-food and biofuel industries. Circular economy, environmental sustainability, waste plastic valorization, biodegradable plastics as single-use plastic alternatives, biocarbon based composites and 3D printing of sustainable materials are other areas of his expertize. For the past 60 years Alessandro Gandini has conducted research and taught chronologically in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Cuba, Canada, France, Brazil, Portugal, Italy, and now in France and Brazil, with invited professorships in numerous other countries. Polymer chemistry, photochemistry, and surface science have dominated his professional interests, with a progressively growing involvement in polymers from renewable resources, a topic he was one of the first to investigate and promote.

Professor Muthupandian Ashokkumar (Ashok) is a Physical Chemist who specializes in Sonochemistry and is a senior academic staff member of the School of Chemistry, University of Melbourne. He is currently the Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor International at the University of Melbourne. Ashok is a renowned sonochemist, with about 25 years of experience in this field, and has developed a number of novel techniques to characterize acoustic cavitation bubbles and has made major contributions of applied sonochemistry to the Materials, Food and Dairy industry. Recent research also involves the ultrasonic synthesis of functional nano and biomaterials that can be used in energy production, environmental remediation and diagnostic and therapeutic medicine. Richard Spontak received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Penn State and UC Berkeley, respectively, and pursued post-doctoral studies at Cambridge University (UK) and the Institute for Energy Technology (Norway) before joining Procter & Gamble in 1990. In 1992, he transitioned to NC State University, where he is a Distinguished Professor. He has >300 peer-reviewed journal publications and >35 book chapters and invited works, and his research has been featured on 31 journal covers and cited about 15,000 times. He has received numerous honors including the ACS Chemistry of Thermoplastic Elastomers Award (Rubber), the ACS Roy W. Dr. Gao Liu is a Senior Scientist and Group Leader of the Applied Energy Materials Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, with over 20 years of R&D experience in developing materials and system engineering for energy applications. Dr. Liu’s lab combines synthetic chemistry, composite engineering and electrochemistry to solve interdisciplinary problems in energy generation, storage and usage. The research team uses advanced diagnostics to understand fundamental and critical issues in energy systems, and synthetic techniques to develop new materials that improve overall system performance. Dr. Liu has over 170 peer-reviewed publications and over 20 granted patents.

Yasuo Koide received his Ph.D. degree from Prof. Isamu Akasaki, Nobel laureate in 2014, at Nagoya University in 1988. His PhD work was MOVPE growth of AlxGa1-xN alloy and optical and electrical properties. He fabricated the original MOVPE apparatus with special reactor design, which provided success of the highest-quality GaN and AlxGa1-xN epitaxial layer using the low-temperature buffer layer technique, together with Prof. Hiroshi Amano, Nobel laureate in 2014. After Dr. Koide became an assistant professor at Nagoya University and an associate professor at Kyoto University, in 2002 he moved to National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) for focusing research on diamond epilayer growth and optical and electronic device applications, Japan. He has more than 400 publications including technical articles, invited reviews, monographs, and books in semiconductor materials and devices. His research interest is diamond and III-nitrides hybrid electron devices and their transport physics and surface and interface physics.

Wenxin Wang is Full Professor in Skin Research and Wound Healing, a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Principal Investigator at the Charles Institute of Dermatology, School of Medicine, University College Dublin (UCD), and a member of UCD Academic Council. He won the highly prestigious “Young Scientist Prize in Regenerative Medicine” in 2010 at TERMIS-EU conference, the “SFI Principal Investigator award” in 2011 and the DEBRA Award for Excellent EB Patient Service in 2014, which highlight his work ethic and achievements. Prof. Wang’s scientific interests are in the areas of biomaterials, stem cell and gene therapy for the treatments of skin wounds, cardiovascular and neural degenerative diseases. He received the Outstanding Research Award by the Korean Chemical Society, the Distinguished Research Award as well as HanWha Excellent Polymer Research Award by the Korean Polymer Society, and the Monthly Award of Scientist and Engineer by NRF & MOST, etc. He was served as the president of Korean Society of Photoscience and Korean Organic Photovoltaics Society as well as the vice-president of Korean Polymer Society. Recently, he was nominated and selected as the fellow of Korean Polymer Society. His current researches have been focused on developing advanced organic and polymer semiconductors as well as carbon-based materials for next generation solar cells and solar batteries.

Yanfei Xu joined the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department at University of Massachusetts Amherst as an assistant professor in 2019. She became an adjunct assistant professor in the Chemical Engineering Department in 2020 fall. Before joining UMASS, from 2013-2018, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was active in pursuit of turning polymer insulators into heat conductors. Before joining MIT, from 2011-2013, she passionately pursued GENIUS research funded by European Commission — printable organic electronics, and secured Marie-Curie Fellowships with major European institutions and companies, including the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Humboldt University, University of Cambridge, Italian National Research Council, Université de Strasbourg, and the headquarters of BASF SE. She received Ph.D. in Chemistry from Nankai University, where she was awarded “Top 100 Most Influential Scientific Researchers in P. R. China (among all fields)”.

Dr. Yaoyu Zhou is a Full Professor in the College of Resources and Environment, Hunan Agricultural University (the youngest professor ever), Changsha, Hunan province, China. Prof. Zhou's academic background covers waste management, and decontamination of aqueous effluents. N. Guarrotxena is Research Scientist at ICTP-CSIC (Spain) and External Expertise Consultant on I+D+i Management and Policy for National and International Agencies. She was vice Director of ICTP-CSIC (2001-2005) and visiting professor at UCSB-USA and UCI-USA (2008-2011 and 2019). Prof. Chu-Chen Chueh received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2010 and conducted his postdoctoral research at University of Washington from 2011 to 2016. He joined NTU as an Assistant Professor of Department of Chemical Engineering in 2017 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020 summer. His research focuses on solution-processable semiconductors, including organic small molecules, conjugated polymers, and organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites, and focusing on their applications in memories, light-emitting diodes, transistors, and solar cells. Dr. Chueh recently received Young Faculty Awards from Taiwanese Institute of Chemical Engineers and from the Polymer Society, Taipei(2020). Iva Rezić PhD was until the October 2020 a Vice-dean for scientific research at the University of Zagreb, Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Textile Technology, where she leads a group of scientists in the field of chemical analysis and material sciences, and teaches in courses: "Analytical Chemistry", "Instrumental Analysis Methods", "Physical Chemistry", "Textile Chemistry" and "Computer Method Design of Experiment". Dr. Hung-Ju Yen is an Assistant Research Fellow in Institute of Chemistry at Academia Sinica. He earned his B.S. (2006) and M.S. (2007) from National Chi Nan University and then completed his Ph.D. degree with the 1st prize of PhD graduates from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2011. He joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as the J. Robert Oppenheimer Fellow (2013-2017) after the postdoctoral training at NTU (2011, 2012-2013). Ali Reza Modarresi-Alam is a full professor at the Organic and Polymer Research Laboratory, Department of Chemistry and Renewable Energies Research Institute at University of Sistan and Baluchestan, Zahedan, Iran. He received his BSc degree in Pure Chemistry in 1992 from Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Organic Chemistry from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan, Iran in 1995 and 2000, respectively. He is inventor of 22 International patents, several of which are licensed to companies acting in the biomedical fields and translated to 7 commercial products. Martine Castellà-Ventura has completed her Ph.D in 1987 from Paris-Saclay University. She has been working at the “Laboratoire de Chimie Théorique” at Sorbonne University in Paris since 2010. She is mainly concerned by the acido-catalytic properties of microporous metal oxide materials. Particularly, she studies the adsorption of aromatic molecules in zeolite cavities by Quantum Chemistry methods (description of the reactivity of adsorbed molecules on the Brønsted acid sites of zeolitic surfaces, energetic and vibrational characterization of the adsorbed complexes) in order to understand the mechanisms governing the adsorption processes in these materials. Her works have been published in reputed journals.

Dr. Fernando J. Muzzio is a distinguished Professor of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Rutgers University. His research focuses on pharmaceutical product and process design, continuous manufacturing, powder mixing, powder flow, segregation, compression, mixing and flow of liquids and suspensions, capsule filling, tablet dissolution, and tablet coating. He is the author of over 300 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters. He is the director of the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center on Structured Organic Particulate Systems and also the chair of the faculty committee of the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education (NIPTE).

Agnieszka Marcinkowska is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Polymers at Poznan University of Technology. She received a Masters Engineering (2003) and Doctorate degrees (2007) at Poznan University of Technology in Chemical Technology. Her research interests are focused on polymer synthesis by photopolymerization, currently mainly thiol-ene polymerization of ionogels as well as hybrid organic-inorganic and composite materials, drug delivery systems, soft actuators, and cosmetic varnishes.

Jun-Won Kook has completed his Ph.D at the age of 35 years from Yonsei University and postdoctoral studies from Korea Institute of Industrial Technology. For a year, the medical device company developed products related to silicon polymers. He has published 10 papers in the journal on Polymers and related research at many international conferences.

Gabriela Polak graduated with a master's degree in Chemical Technology and Fuels and Environment in 2021. She is currently a PhD student at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow in the Adsorption and Environmental Engineering Group led by Professor Katarzyna Zarębska. Among other things, the team deals with: sorption processes, synthesis and analysis of geopolymers, and management of waste from the energy sector within the concept of closed-loop economy. The team publishes its research results in reputable scientific journals.

Prof. Abu-Reziq completed his doctorate at the Hebrew University in catalysis and sol-gel chemistry. After receiving his Ph.D. degree in 2004, he moved to Ottawa University, Canada, to do his postdoctoral research in the field of nanocatalysis. In 2006, he joined the company Sol-Gel Technologies as Senior Researcher and spent two years in developing micro and nano-encapsulation systems based on sol-gel process as drug delivery systems. Dr. Wang received his BSc and MSc degrees from Tongji University, China and his PhD degree from Virginia Tech, USA. Dr. Wang is internationally well known for his works in the field of micromechanical characterization and modeling of granular soils. Dr. Biao HU is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University, P.R. China. He obtained his Ph.D. from the City University of Hong Kong in 2017. His main research focuses on composite materials & structures, structural retrofitting, and sustainable construction materials. He has published some40 technical papers in international journals and conference proceedings (including 30 SCI papers), and these works received more than 500 citations recorded in Google Scholar. She obtained her Ph.D in Chemistry, Biology and Health from university of Toulouse in France in 2016. In 2018 to 2020, She studied the intercellular communication between cardiac fibroblast in cardiomyopathy mutation with AFM. During this period, she learned a new approach with AFM: the cell cell adhesion in order to measure the adhesion parameter between two living cells. This Postdoc was a collaboration between the universtà di Trieste in Italy with Professor Sbaizero's Team, where she spent her first year, and the University of Colorado in Denver with the Dr Taylor and Dr Mestroni's Team. During the Covid-19 crisis she was repatriated to France and she took this time to created her company: A5 Science. This company aims to analyse biological surfaces by AFM.

Ján Kruželák– obtained PhD degree in 2011 at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and currently works as an assoc. prof. at Institute of Natural and Synthetic Polymers at Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology STU in Bratislava. He is extensively experienced from the study of preparation and characterization of rubber compounds based on various elastomers filled with traditional fillers used in rubber industry as well as with magnetic active fillers and biopolymer fillers. His area of expertise is also research and development of vulcanization systems used for cross-linking of rubber matrices. He has been a member of the IRCO, an international organization bringing together representatives of rubber industry research associations and production organizations of each member country.

Roopa A.K is an Assistant Professor at KLE Technological University, India from last 5 years. She had completed Master of Technology in structural Engineering by securing Gold medal. She has explored her research areas in the self-sensing cement based nano composite for structural health monitoring applications. Dr. Mohammad A. Jafar Mazumder obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from McMaster University, Canada, in 2009. Dr Jing Lyu’s long term research vision is to establish the synthetic mechanism-structure-property relationships of advanced polymer materials with the ultimate aim to expand their application areas. Her career objectives are to utilize multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in materials, chemistry and computer simulation to design, model, evaluate novel structured multifunctional materials, clarify the mechanism behind its formation and eventually translate their unique properties into practice. Currently, Dr Lyu is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Prof. Wenxin Wang’s group at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. Dr Lyu has had 6 years research experience, built up broad and interdisciplinary research interests (e.g., design and synthesis of novel structured multifunctional polymers, mechanism study of the controlled multivinyl monomer polymerization, gelation theory etc.) and accumulated diverse experimental skills (e.g., controlled polymerization of multivinyl monomers, Monte Carlo simulation, molecular dynamics and cell culture). Up to now, she has published over 10 peer-reviewed journal papers (such as Macromolecules and Nature Reviews Chemistry co-authored with the world-wide leading researcher Prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski), 1 book chapter, 3 conference abstracts and presentations and 1 fellowship/funding (72,000 EURO) - the IRC Employment Based Postgraduate Programme. She also demonstrated her capacity to be an independent researcher by co-supervising 7 Ph.D./master/undergraduate students and acting as a teaching assistant in the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, UCD contributing to various teaching activities for Master students. In 2012, Prof. Yamanaka has been awarded the Nobel prize for the creation of stem cells from differentiated cells. Since 2016, Foad Abazari's colleagues and he have channelled their efforts to create different cells and tissue from iPSCs ranged from cardiovascular cells to insulin-producing cells for Diabetic patients. In this matter, they have published more than 50 scientific publications, including articles, US patents and book chapters. Dr. Asghari Gul earned her M. Phil degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad and was awarded with the Chancellor’s medal for her academic achievements. She concluded her PhD degree from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad in 2013. During her PhD, she worked on the synthesis and characterization of organometallic based material and their organic analogues. After her PhD she joined COMSATS, IIT as an assistant professor. Dr. Asghari has got published papers in the reputed scientific journals like Macromolecules and RSC advances. Later she did her postdoc from the Energy and Sustainability Institute, University of Exeter, UK, in photovoltaics in the year 2017. She has a strong background in the synthesis of polymeric material (polyesters, polyamides, conjugated polymers) or in the development of their block copolymers, composites, and blends (with different material like polyaniline, carbon nanotubes, silver etc.,) using various techniques. Her expertise includes study of polymer structure, morphology, architecture (NMR, FTIR, UV-visible spectroscopic study, GPC, molecular weight parameter by laser light scattering, thermal analysis etc.) and degradation of prepared material. She is proficient in studying the application of material in term of biological activity (antibacterial, brine shrimp cytotoxic, free radical induced oxidative DNA damage and DPPH free radical scavenging activity) and optoelectronic and photovoltaic applications (Absorption, emission, energy gap, IV measurement etc.,). In addition, she has performed some workshops on computational chemistry and has hands on practice of using softwares like Gaussian and autodock.

Dr. Abd Al-Salam Al-Masgari has completed his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS - (UTP) - Malaysia. He is a lecturer at Thamar University. He has published more than 17 papers in reputed journals and serves as a reviewer for several journals.

Dr. Nor Saadah Mohd Yusof (Adah) is an academic staff at the Department of Chemistry, University of Malaya, Malaysia. She earned her MSc from University of Malaya in the research of polymer micelle aggregational structure; and her PhD from The University of Melbourne in the area of sonochemistry. She joined the University of Malaya as a senior lecturer soon after. Dr. Adah's research interest includes the control and kinetics quantification of the micellar structural transition under different conditions, such as ultrasound. Other than that, she also works on other effects of ultrasound in synthesizing metal nanoparticles, on natural rubber, sonoencapsulation, sonoextraction, sonopolymerization and sonodegradation such as on food wastes and on organic pollutants.

Mohammed Salah Eddine HAMROUN is a researcher at the scientific and technical research center in physico-chemical analysis CRAPC Algeria, where he conducts currently researches and Group Leader of Nano-composite scintillation materials based on polymers and Graetzel cells based on conductive polymers. He received his Ph.D. in physical sciences at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Abu Bakr Belkaid Tlemcen in 2016. He was researcher at the nuclear research center of Algiers CRNA , accelerator department, nuclear techniques division between 2012 and 2018.
