David J. Moss is Director of the Optical Sciences Centre at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, since 2016. Before that he was with the University of Sydney and from 1998-2003 was a manager and senior scientist at JDS Uniphase in Ottawa Canada. He received his PhD from the University of Toronto in Physics and BSc from the University of Waterloo. He won the 2011 Australian Museum Eureka Science Prize and Google Australia Prize for Innovation in Computer Science. He is a Fellow of the IEEE Photonics Society, the Optical Society (Optica) and the International Photonics Society (SPIE). His research interests include integrated nonlinear optics, optical microcombs, quantum optics, microwave photonics, optical neural networks, optical networks and transmission, 2D materials including graphene oxide for nonlinear optics, optical signal processing, nanophotonics, biomedical optics, and other areas.

Rodrigo Martins, Portuguese nationality, was born in Nova Lisboa, Angola. He got in 1974 the Honours degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications and applied Electronics by U. Luanda, Angola/ PT. In 1977 he got the MSc degree in Semiconductor Materials, by the University of Dundee, Scotland. Thesis title: “Photoconductivity in P Doped and Undoped Amorphous Germanium.” Supervisor W. Spear, 1977 Euro physicist award. In 1982, the Ph.D. in Energy conversion and Semiconductors, by New University of Lisbon, Portugal. Thesis title: “a-Si:H solar cells processing and characterization”. In 1988 he got the Habilitation in Semiconductor Materials and Microelectronics, by New University of Lisbon, Portugal. Lesson title: “Density of states in disordered semiconductors”. Full Professor at FCT-NOVA since 2002 in the area of Materials Engineering, speciality Materials for Energy, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies.

Ahmed A. Kishk is a Professor at Concordia University, Montréal, Québec, Canada (since 2011), as Tier 1Canada Research Chair in Advanced Antenna Systems. He was an Associate Editor of Antennas & Propagation Society Newsletters from 1990 to 1993, a distinguished lecturer for the Antennas and Propagation Society (2013-2015), an Editor of Antennas & Propagation Magazine (1993-2014), an editor of the ACES Journal during 1997, an Editor-in-Chief of the ACES Journal from 1998 to 2001, the chair of the Physics and Engineering Division of the Mississippi Academy of Science (2001-2002), a Guest Editor of the special issue on artificial magnetic conductors, soft/hard surfaces, and other complex surfaces, in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, January 2005, and a co-guest Editor in IEEE Antennas and Propagation and Wireless Letter on the special cluster on “5G/6G enabling antenna systems and associated testing technologies.”Dr. Kishk was a the general chair of the 2020 IEEE AP-S Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and CNC/USNC-URSI joint meeting and a technical program committee member for several international conferences. Prof. Kishk research interest includes the areas of millimeter-wave antennas for 5G/6G applications, Analog beamforming network, Dielectric resonator antennas, microstrip antennas, small antennas, microwave sensors, RFID antennas for readers and tags, Multi-function antennas, microwave circuits, EBG, artificial magnetic conductors, soft and hard surfaces, phased array antennas, reflect/transmitarray, wearable antennas, and Feeds for Parabolic reflectors. He has published over 385-refereed journal articles and 510 conference papers. He is a co-author of four books and several book chapters and the editor of four books. He offered several short courses in international conferences.

Prof. Kishk and his students received several awards. Hewon the 1995 and 2006 outstanding paper awards for papers published in the Applied Computational Electromagnetic Society Journal. He received the 1997 Outstanding Engineering Educator Awardfrom the IEEE Memphis section. He received the Outstanding Engineering Faculty Member of the Year in 1998 and 2009, Faculty research award for outstanding research performance in 2001 and 2005. He received the Award of Distinguished Technical Communication for IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine's entry, 2001. He also received The Valued Contribution Award for outstanding Invited Presentation, “EM Modeling of Surfaces with STOP or GO Characteristics – Artificial Magnetic Conductors and Soft and Hard Surfaces” from the Applied Computational Electromagnetic Society. He received the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, Microwave Prize 2004. He received the 2013 Chen-To Tai Distinguished Educator Award of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society. Manuel G. VELARDE, born in Almeria, September 7, 1941, Married to Maria del Pilar they have three children (Alberto, Uriel and Esther-Adelaida). PhD Physics (UCM, Spain, 1968; ULB, Belgium, 1970). Honorary Doctor (Aix-Marseille-France, Saratov- Russia, Almeria-Spain). Emeritus Professor at Instituto Pluridisciplinar, Universidad Complutense Madrid (Spain) and Honorific Professor at Universidad Europea Madrid (Spain). Member of the Academia Europaea and the European Academy of Sciences (EURASC). Over five decades his research dealt with fluid physics (interfacial phenomena, drop hydrodynamics, wetting and spreading processes -over two decades of collaboration with V. M. Starov, waves and convective instabilities) and nonlinear dynamics (patterns, waves, solitons, chaos) as applied to various fields of science. At present he is mostly engaged in a theory of soliton-assisted electron transport (mechanical control of electrons at nano-level). He is co-inventor (with E. G. Wilson) of a novel field effect transistor, not using silicon. Based on ballistic charge transport it is designed to operate with extremely low dissipation (UK Patent GB 2533105, May 20, 2020). I obtained my Dr. Eng. (Micro-nano Systems Engineering) from Nagoya University, Japan in March 2010. I was a research officer in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics, UTM, from June to November 2002. In 2003, I joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering as a lecturer. I was promoted as a senior lecturer in 2011. Since 2011, I am a Principal Researcher at the Institute of Ibnu Sina, UTM and from 2014 as an Associate Researcher at the Advanced Photonics Science Institute in UTM. I was promoted to an Associate Professor in June 2017. In teaching, I have taught at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for fifteen years. I teach core and elective subjects that are related to the electrical engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My research interests include multi-agent robotics system, micro/nanomanipulation, nanobiology, nanodevices, and single-cell analysis. I am a member of several professional engineering bodies such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), a life member of Golden Key International Honor Society, a professional engineer of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), a charted engineer of UK engineering council (IET) and a corporate member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

Pierluigi Siano (M’09–SM'14) received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information and electrical engineering from the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He is a Professor and Scientific Director of the Smart Grids and Smart Cities Laboratory with the Department of Management & Innovation Systems, University of Salerno. His research activities are centered on demand response, on energy management, on the integration of distributed energy resources in smart grids, on electricity markets and on planning and management of power systems. In these research fields he has co-authored more than 550 articles including more than 300 international journal papers that received in Scopus more than 10100 citations with an H-index equal to 49. In 2019 and 2020 he received the award as Highly cited Researcher by ISI Web of Science Group. He has been the Chair of the IES TC on Smart Grids.

João Gama is a Full Professor at the School of Economics, University of Porto, Portugal. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Porto in 2000. He is an Editor of several top-level Machine Learning and Data Mining journals. He has been ACM Distinguish Speaker. Ouri Wolfson's main research interests are in big data, distributed systems, mobile/pervasive computing, smart city, and connectomics. He received his B.A. degree in mathematics, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. He is currently the Richard and Loan Hill Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is the founder of Mobitrac, a high-tech startup that was acquired by Fluensee Co.; and the founder and president of Pirouette Software Inc. which specializes in mobile data management. He served as a consultant to Argonne National Laboratory, US Army Research Laboratories, DARPA, and NASA. Before joining the University of Illinois he has been on the computer science faculty at the Technion and Columbia University, and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories.

Ouri Wolfson authored over 230 publications, and holds seven patents. He is a Fellow of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a University of Illinois Scholar for 2009. He co-authored seven award winning papers, and served as a Distinguished Lecturer for the Association of Computing Machinery. Wolfson was the keynote and distinguished speaker at leading conferences and universities, most recently the The Eighth International Conference on Big Data Analytics (BDA2020) , Dec. 2020, and the International Conference on Transport and Smart Cities (ICoTS 2021) , Sept. 2021.

Professor Fushuan Wen received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a full professor and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997, and the director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010. He is now a Professor in Energy Systems at Tallinn University of Technology, taking leaves from Zhejiang University.

Biography: Subhas holds a B.E.E. (gold medallist), M.E.E., Ph.D. (India) and Doctor of Engineering (Japan). He has over 31 years of teaching, industrial and research experience.

Currently he is working as a Professor of Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia and is the Discipline Leader of the Mechatronics Engineering Degree Programme. His fields of interest include Smart Sensors and sensing technology, instrumentation techniques, wireless sensors and network (WSN), Internet of Things (IoT), Healthcare, Mechatronics, Robotics, Environmental monitoring etc. He has supervised over 40 postgraduate students and over 100 Honours students.

Karlheinz Blankenbach, has three decades of experience in displays and published more than 200 papers. He was appointed to full professor at Pforzheim University, Germany, where he founded the university's Display Lab. His main R&D activities are design, optical measurements and evaluation for displays and LEDs. Blankenbach is a committee member of the Society for Information Display.

Prof. Jizhong Zhu (IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, CSEE Fellow) received the B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Chongqing University in 1985, 1987, and Feb. 1990, respectively. Dr. Zhu was a professor in Chongqing University. He won seven provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress, and was selected as one of four outstanding young scientists working in China by The Royal Society of UK and China Science & Technology Association and awarded Royal Society Fellowship in 1994, as well as the national research prize "Fok Ying-Tung Excellent Young Teacher Medal" in 1996. He worked in a variety of places all over the world, including Chongqing University in China, Brunel University in UK, National University of Singapore, Howard University in USA, and ALSTOM Grid Inc., China Southern Power Grid and South China University of Technology (SCUT).

He is currently a Professor and director of ISESOOC center in SCUT and National Distinguished Expert in China. He is Chair of IEEE P2781 and P2783 Standard working groups since 2018, core member of IEEE PES SBLC Technical Committee, member of IEEE SMC Technical Committee on intelligent power and energy systems, and member of IEEE SMC Standard Committee, as well as was Chair of IEEE PES SBLC Loads Subcommittee during 2017-2019. He worked at ALSTOM Grid as a Senior Principal Power Systems Engineer and Senior Expert during 2000-2015, and became a Fellow of Alstom Expert Committee in 2013.

George Dimitrakopoulos (m) is a research coordinator at the department of funded projects at Infineon Technologies A.G. in Munich, Germany (2018-), where he coordinates large scale projects. He is also an associate professor at Harokopio Univesity of Athens (Greece) (2010-). He has received his bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2002 and his Ph.D. in 2007, from the National Technical University of Athens, and the University of Piraeus, respectively. He has been acting also as an R&D consultant for several large enterprises, as well as startups, in the areas of software development for communication systems. He is the author of 3 books on smart mobility and autonomous driving (Elsevier and Springer), as well as of more than 170 publications in international journals and conferences. In the last 20 years he has been involved in numerous internationally funded R&D projects. His research interests include the design and development of safety and emergency management algorithms for vehicular communication, as well as the design and development of strategies for the optimization of wireless networks based on cognitive networking principles.

Zhiyong Chen received the B.E. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, and the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2000, 2002 and 2005, respectively. He worked as a research associate at the University of Virginia during 2005-2006. He joined the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2006, where he is currently a professor. He was also a Changjiang chair professor with Central South University, Changsha, China. His research interests include non-linear systems and control, biological systems, and multi-agent systems. He is/was an associate editor of Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics.

Dr Manoj Khandelwal is the Program Coordinator of mining engineering at Federation University and is an Australian Endeavour Fellow. Dr Khandelwal has more than a decade of research and academic teaching experience in Australia and India. Dr Khandelwal has been recognized as a leading expert in ‘Mining Geomechanics’ and ‘Rock Blasting’. So far, Dr Khandelwal has published more than 130 research papers in different reputed journals and conference proceedings. His total citations are more than 4000 and his current h index is 35. He is also the author of a technical book. He has successfully completed several research and consultancy research projects in his area of interest. Dr. Steven Weiss obtained his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1985(BSEE) and graduate degrees from The George Washington University in 1989 (MS) and 1995 (DSc) both with concentrations in Electrophysics.

Dr.Weiss is the team leader for the Antenna Team at the Army Research Lab and has worked with the Army since 1988. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in the development of numerous specialized antennas for military applications. The work has ranged from antennas for communications in the VHF band, radar antennas, antennas for Satellite on the Move (SOTM,) as well as antennas for collision avoidance. He has an active interest in beamformers and beamforming networks and has integrated a number of these into phased array architectures.

Dr. Weiss is a fellow of the Washington Academy of Science and is on the board of directors of the Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES). He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and has served in all of the officer positions for the Washington Section of the IEEE. He is a member of URSI Commissions A and B and served as the vice-chair and chair of Commission A. Additionally, he is an international member of URSI.

Dr. Weiss has taught at The Johns Hopkins University since 2002 teaching courses in Antenna Systems, Advanced Antenna Systems, and Intermediate Electromagnetics. He has published numerous papers in the IEEE Antennas and Propagation societies' transactions, letters, and conferences. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Maryland and Delaware and maintains an active status in both states.

Dr.Qiongfeng Shiis currently a professor in the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Southeast University. Hereceived his B.Eng.degree from University of Science and Technology of China, China, and Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore, Singapore. After that, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Center of Intelligent Sensors and MEMS, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, from 2018 to 2022. His main research interests include wearable electronics, energy harvesting, MEMS, sensors, human-machine interfaces, and intelligent systems.Dr. Shi has published more than 70 journal papers and more than 30 conferenceproceedings/abstracts, and won the best paper award in ICFPE 2019 conference. Besides, he has also served as guest editors for several peer-reviewed journals and reviewers for more than 20 high-impactjournals.

Ioannis holds a Ph.D. in the area of applied mathematics and networking from the National Technical University of Athens. Throughout his professional career he has been intrigued by the challenge of applying his analytical background to modern communication systems, collaborating with telecom operators, regulators, manufacturers, and academics. Ioannis has worked as an independent consultant in the scope of European research and business studies and he has authored/co-authored books, scientific papers and reports in prestigious scientific journals and conferences, focusing on technical, business and societal aspects of modern telecommunication systems. During his collaboration with the largest multidisciplinary research center of Greece “Demokritos” he served as the Technical Coordinator of two European 5G-PPP projects, helping also in the study of the business perspectives and the commercialization roadmap of several other European activities. In 2016 he co-founded Eight Bells Ltd, a dynamic research and consulting company with strong involvement and expertise in the areas of 5G mobile communications, cybersecurity, and software engineering. His scientific interests include queueing theory, applied probability and stochastic modeling, wireless networking, cybersecurity, and quantum communications.

Dr. Chan-Yong Park is a pioneer of the usage of InGaAsphotodetector in Korea, successfully developing InGaAs APD in 1993. He joined Wooriro as a CTO in 2010, where he is currently in charge of photodetector business development. At Wooriro, he successfully engineered many important PD/APD chips, such as 10G APD chip, 25G/56G PD chips, SPAD for QKD, and he is currently working on developing technologies crucial to national defense, including InGaAs APD-receiver for eye-safe LiDAR and detector for LRF. In addition, he is also interested in applying SPAD technology to single photon LiDAR and Photon Number Resolver.

She is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Energy and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University, Nanjing, China.Her research focuses on renewable energy generation, microgrids and demand side response. Ming Zheng obtained his Ph.D. degree in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. After working at National University of Singapore, The University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Zheng was awarded Japan Society for The Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship in the field of multiferroics and joined the Department of Physics in Nagoya University, Japan, in 2018. In 2019, he was invited to join China University of Mining and Technology as a faculty member through high-end talents program. In 2021, he was honored with IAAM Young Scientist Medal in recognition for his contribution to “Hybrid Electronic, Magnetic & Optical Materials”. His current research interests include functional (multiferroic, ferroelectric, magnetic and luminescent) thin-film materials and devices. Ohood Saud Althobaiti (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the master’s degree (Hons.) in computer science from the College of Computer and Information Sciences, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, in 2012. She received ABoLT Diploma, Scholarly teaching and learning in computing and engineering, (Sep 14 2013- May 14 2014), Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree (2017 - 2022) with the Centre for Telecommunications Research, Department of Engineering, King’s College London, London, U.K. She is a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department, College of Computers and Information Technology, Taif University, Saudi Arabia. She has published articles in top peer-reviewed journals. She has received invitations to act as a reviewer for journals such as IEEE Access and the IEEE Internet of Things Journal and as an invited speaker at some international conferences to share and present her research findings. Her research interests include cybersecurity, quantum computing, computer networks, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence (AI), with a special focus on cybersecurity in the Internet of Things (IoT). She was awarded the Reward Scientific Publishing in ISI journals, the First-Class Honor Award from Taif University, in 2008, and the Scholarship for her Ph.D. degree.

Didem Tekgun has received her bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Inonu University, Malatya, Turkey, and M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Akron, Akron, OH, USA in 2017. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Abdullah Gul University, Kayseri, Turkey. Her research interests include AC electric machine design and optimization techniques, SRM noise reduction techniques, sensor development, and power electronics. She has been a part of various military, industrial, and research projects funded by TARDEC, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, and TÜBİTAK. Her dissertation research is rewarded by TÜBİTAK scientist support program and recognized by various companies. She has a patent application, two journal articles, and five conference proceedings from her dissertation research.

Zhongyu Li is the winner of 2022 URSI Young Scientists Award, and also the Outstanding Doctoral Society Award of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and he was successfully selected for the China Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2011 and 2017, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. He is currently an associate professor with UESTC. His research interests include synthetic aperture radar technology (particular emphasis on bistatic/multi-static SAR moving target detection and imaging technologies). He has published more than 60 journal and conference papers. He received the “Excellent Paper Award - First Prize” at the 2019 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar. He was the TPC member of 2020 IEEE Radar Conference, 2019 APSAR, and the section chair of the 2021 CIE International Conference on Radar, 2020-2021 IEEE ICET, ALLSENSORS 2019, and 2020 ICCC. He served on the editorial boards of the ‘Modern Radar’ and ‘Radar Science and Technology’, and served as the guest/topic editors of ‘Remote Sensing’ and ‘Frontiers in Signal Processing’.

Zhigang Zang received his PhD degree from Kyushu University in 2011. He joined School of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University as a professor since 2014. His research interests mainly focus on the synthesis of II-VI, III-V semiconductor materials and their applications in solar cells and light emitting diodes. He has published more than 100 journal papers and has been selected as National Talent Program since 2019.

Bo Li received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Guangxi University, Nanning, China, in 2016. He is pursuing the Ph.D. degree at Chongqing University. He was a visiting researcher in University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2020. His major research interests include power system optimization and planning, energy policy, and renewable energy integration.

CRISTIAN DANIEL CHINAS PALACIOS received his B.E. degree in Mechatronics from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico, Tlaquepaque, Mexico, in 2015. He received the M.Sc. degree in Engineering of Water and Energy from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Tonala, Mexico, in 2017. He achieved his Ph.D. in Water and Energy at the Centro Universitario de Tonala, Tonala, Mexico, in 2021 and he is pursuing his second Ph.D. in Manufacturing, Design and Production of Industrial Projects at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Valencia, Spain. His main research interests include the design and implementation of Optimization Algorithms for Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems, Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading for Smart Cities’ applications, and Modelling and Control of Dynamic Systems implementing Machine Learning techniques. He has worked as a Hardware Laboratory Assistant in the Core Electronics team at Continental Automotive Guadalajara, from 2014 to 2015. He is currently working in three different Universities as a part-time Professor, at the Universidad de Guadalajara – Centro Universitario de Tonala, Universidad del Valle de Mexico – Guadalajara Sur, and Universidad Tecmilenio – Guadalajara Campus.

Professor Paulo R. Bueno has a B.Sc. degree in Materials Science andEngineering, an M.B.A. degree, and a Ph.D. in theoretical PhysicalChemistry. Nowadays, his main academic interest focuses on applications ofelectric and electrochemical spectroscopic methods, aiming to gain anin-depth understanding of the physical and chemical fundamentals ofelectron transfer and energy storage at the nanoscale. He has authoredmore than 200 papers (9000 citations), holds six licensed patents, and is one of thefounders of Osler Diagnostics, a spin-off company from the Universityof Oxford, U.K. Dr. Bueno. He was endorsed as an exceptional talent inPhysical Chemistry by the Royal Society and U.K. government.Currently, he is a Research Fellow Director of the Royal Society, aFellow of Royal Society of Chemistry, and an invited member of theAmerican Chemical Society. Dr. Bueno is also a member of otherscientific societies, among them the Electrochemical Society, theInternational Society of Electrochemistry, and the Materials ResearchSociety. He is advisory board member of the followingAmerican Chemical Society journals: ACS Sensors and Analytical Chemistry.

Haider Ali recently completed his PhD in Engineering from the School of Engineering, Macquarie University, Sydney. His current research interests include developing flat-panel antennas for satellite-on-the-move communication systems, specifically, finding new ways to improve existing antenna beam steering mechanisms using metamaterial. He has published his research output in several prestigious journals and presented at flagship international conferences. Moreover, he is an active member of IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society and EurAAP. He has received several competitive awards during his career such as International Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship, Postgraduate Research Fund etc.

Prior to that, he was a Project Engineer in the Centre for Engineering Research, KFUPM. While in KFUPM, he has worked on several applied research projects. He was a Team Member with Calibration and Metrology Laboratory, KFUPM, where he contributed to automating the calibration systems and improving their accuracy for electronic measuring instruments. He has received Best Applied Research Project Award and Best Project Team Member Award for his work during this employment.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on signal processing from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Zitong Yu is now a PostDoctoral researcher at ROSE Lab, Nanyang Technological University. He is also a technical consultant on face anti-spoofing at Innov8tif, Malaysia. He received the PhD degree at CMVS, University of Oulu, Finland in 2022. During August to November 2021, he was a visiting scholar at Torr Vision Group, University of Oxford, UK. Before that, he received the M.S. and B.E. degrees from University of Nantes, France in 2016 and Guangdong University of Technology in 2014, respectively. He has published research works on top-tier avenues such as TPAMI, TIP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, IJCAI, AAAI, etc. He won the 1st Place in the ChaLearn Multi-Modal Face Anti-spoofing Attack Detection Challenge with CVPR’20, and achieved the 2nd Place on Action Recognition Track of ECCV’20 VIPriors Challenges. His ICCV’19 paper on remote heart rate measurement has granted IEEE Finland Section Best Student Conference Paper Award 2020.

I have completed my PhD in Computer and Telecommunication Engineering at Nantes University/Polytech. The focus of my research is designing, implementing, and testing efficient one- way hash functions based on chaotic maps and neural networks. I am passionate about Artificial Intelligence especially Natural Language Processing and about security especially encryption/decryption algorithms and hash functions. I am currently a lecturer of Natural Language Processing and Introduction to Cybersecurity courses at Modern University for Business and Science. I am working also as head of Research and Development department at SysDICE GmbH.

Currently working in the Group of Dynamic Systems and Control, in particular in the physical space coordinated by the group called Laboratory of Simulation, Control and Optimization of Systems, where works with the identification and control of fractional order systems. Stefano Lumetti studied physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), where in 2018 he also completed his PhD in Physics and Nanosciences with a research activity focused on the fabrication and characterization of magnetic single-molecule transistors with graphene electrodes for spintronic applications. He also spent two years at the Néel Institute (Grenoble, France) as a visiting PhD student. In 2019 he joined Silicon Austria Labs GmbH, where he is currently employed as a senior scientist with focus on the experimental development of magnetic sensor systems and the microfabrication of MEMS and magnetoresistive devices.

Dr. Abdul Waheed received his master’s degree in Computer Science in 2014 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science degree in 2021 with the research major securing the Internet of Things (IoT) using heterogeneous Signcryption from the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Hazara University Mansehra. He has completed his Ph.D. research from NetLab-INMC under the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Seoul National University (SNU), South Korea, in 2019 under the HEC research program. He is a member of the Crypto-Net research group at Hazara University. He also serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences, Northern University, Nowshera. He has numerous publications in journals and international conferences. His research interests are information security, secure and smart cryptography, heterogeneous communications within IoT, mobile Adhoc networks (MANETs), wireless sensor networks (WSNs) security, and fuzzy logic-based decision-making theory.

Tahesin Samira Delwar, I received the B.Sc. in electrical engineering from University of Science and Technology Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2016, and the M.Sc. degree in information and communication engineering from Pukyong National University, Busan South Korea, in 2019 and, I intended to get my Ph.D. degree from Pukyong National University, 7 th August, 2022. My research area focus on RF circuit designing, high efficient CMOS power amplifiers, Optical wireless communication systems and Visible light communications. I have published several SCI indexed journal papers include international conference papers and, book chapter too.

Professor Rafael Ferreira da Silva Caldeirinha (Fellow Member IET, Senior Member IEEE and Senior Member of URSI) was born in Leiria, Portugal, in 1974. He received the B.Eng. degree (Hons.) in Electronic and Communication Engineering and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Glamorgan, U.K., in 1997 and 2001, respectively, and the Habilitation (Agregação) title by the University of Aveiro (Portugal) in 2020. He is currently a Senior Researcher and Head of the Antennas & Propagation (A&P-Lr) Research Group, Instituto de Telecomunicações, Leiria, and Coordinator Professor in Mobile Communications at Polytechnic of Leiria (Portugal).

His research interests include antennas, radiowave propagation and smart radio environments, for applications at microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 articles in conferences and international journals and four contributions to the ITU-R Study Group (ITU-R P.833-5, 2005). He is the author of 4 technical-scientific reports to the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI), within the scope of the national security and communication network (SIRESP). He has been involved in more than 25 funded projects, examined 13 PhD thesis (5 international) and 32 master's dissertation, (co) supervised 12 doctoral thesis (3 running), 19 master's theses (4 running), more than 50 final year projects, and supervised 6 Postdoctoral researchers within the scope of research projects.

AmbraFioravanti received her degree in Physics at the University of Ferrara in 2013 and her Ph.D. in Science of Materials in 2017 at the University of Parma. She is currently a researcher at CNR-STEMS (Ferrara).She has more than 10 years of experience in developing and characterizing chemoresistive thick film gas sensors, from the synthesis of the functional materials in form of nanopowders to the tests of the electrical properties. She has focused her activity on the synthesis and morphological-structural characterization of different pure, mixed and doped semiconductor oxides (ZnO, WO3,SnO2, TiO2 TiXSn1-xO2 (0≤x≤1), LaFeO3, etc) via chemical methods as well as on the realization and electrical characterization of the gas sensors. She also studies theapplicationof gas sensors arrays,principally in fluid power systems and in environmental pollutant monitoring. She was author and organizer of Nanoworld, journey into the world up to -9 (Ferrara, 27/10/2018-16/06/2019), a scientific exposition of electron microscope images showing micro and nanometric structures from nature and man-made technology accompanied by 3D models and interactive exhibits.

Nuria Novas Castellano obtained a Ph. D. in Electronic Engineering at the University of Almería, Spain, in 2007. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Almería, being active in the department since 1999. She imparts subjects related to electronic engineering and renewable energies to various specialties in the field of engineering. She is a member of the Electronics, communications and telemedicine research group (TIC019) and CIAIMBITAL (Center for Research in Intensive Mediterranean Agrosystems and Agri-Food Biotechnology), Both in the University of Almería. Her research includes projects, contracts, publications and patents in the field of electronic engineering. These works are focused on monitoring and sensing across multiple fields of application. For instance, measurements of natural phenomena in the ELF band, ambient variables monitoring in tourist caverns, dielectric measurements, biomedical monitoring, agricultural applications, and renewable energies.

My name is Farzad Mir, I received my B.Sc. degree in Iran, 2014. I obtained my master`s degree from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, in 2021. During my master education I worked on related topics to Electromagnetics and Antenna Designs. Moreover, I am familiar with Frequency Selective Surfaces which was my thesis topic in master`s degree. Wang) is a full Professor and Dean in the School of Marine Engineering (D.M.E.), National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), Keelung, Taiwan, and is also the Director of the Thermal-Fluid Illumination Laboratory. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and Mechanical PhD from National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taiwan in 2007. He has been teaching and researching on electronic heat transfer and renewable energy for more than ten years. He has published more than 100 research papers in international journals, conferences and patents, and edited seven book chapters. His main research interest includes applied and software engineering in thermal-fluid science.

Dr. Seyed Hamidreza Aghay Kaboli obtained his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems from University of Malaya, Malaysia (UM) (UM ranks 59th in the 2021 QS World University Rankings) in 2013, and his PhD from same university in 2018.

In the past years, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Sustainable Energy Research Center,Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.

He has worked on various projects relating to the planning and operation of electric powers systems.

Hamidreza joins the Power Systems and Market Research Group (PSMR), University of Mons (UMONS), Belgium as a Postdoctoral Researcher. He investigates/develops data analytics techniques to facilitate the deployment of Renewable Energy Communities in Belgium.

Gordana Gardašević (Ph.D.in Electrical Engineering)is Full Professor and Head of Telecommunications Department at the Faculy of Electrical Engineering (FEE), University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.She received the BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the FEE Banja Luka in 1995, 2001, and 2008, respectively. She awarded the scholarship for Doctoral Research Study atNational Technical University of Athens, Greece, granted by the Greek Government (from 2006 to 2008). She was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Bologna in 2014. Prof. Gardašević publishedthree books and one monograph. She is the author or co-author of more than 70 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, and serves as a journal editorial board member and guest editor, reviewer for several international impact-factor journals and is a TCP member for various international conferences and workshops. She is a reviewer of IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Transactions of Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, Journal ofNetwork and Computer Applications, Wireless Personal Communications, and others. Prof. Gardašević has been actively involved in many national and international projects. She is curently a B&H MC Representative for COST Action CA15104 - INTERACT (Intelligence-Enabling Radio Communications for Seamless Inclusive Interactions) and COST Action CA19111 - NEWFOCUS (European Network on Future Generation Optical Wireless Communication Technologies). Key researchinterests of Prof. Gardašević include Internet of Things (IoT) protocols and applications, Industrial IoT,IoT for healthcare, next generation networks architectures andapplications, cross-layer protocol design, embedded wireless systems, wireless sensor network. She is a member of the IEEE.

Associate Professor Ir. Dr. MalarviliBalaKrishnan have acquired more than 15 years of experience in the academics as well as involvements in the biomedical industry. She received Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Sciences Engineering) from The University of Queensland, Queensland, Australia in 2008. Currently, she is attached to School of Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering, UniversitiTeknologi of Malaysia. She founded Biosignal Processing Research Group (BSP-RG) in 2010 within the faculty to champion the research, development and commercialization of Biomedical Instrumentation. Dr. Malarviliis actively involved in research related to medical monitoring devices that focuses on detection of neonatal seizure, sudden cardiac death, fetal heart rate monitoring , respiratory illnessscreening device and many more.To date, she has published more than 120 papers. She also received 5 international awards, 12 national awards and many more appreciation certificates. In addition, she has chaired sessions in prestigious conference, editorial board member and technical reviewer by IEEE, EMBS and medical society. She was recently selected for an 'Outstanding Woman in Health and Medical Sciences’ award at the 4th Venus International Women Awards - VIWA 2019, Chennai, India.

• Hajer SAIDI received the Diploma degree in computer science engineering from the National School of Engineers of Sfax (ENIS), Sfax, Tunisia, in 2015. She has received the Master degree in Embedded Systems from the same school in cooperation with Chemnitz University of Germany in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in 2021from the National Engineering School of Sfax, Tunisia and the Digital Research Center of Sfax, Tunisia. Her thesis is a part of an international project called Energy Aware Reconfigurable Node. This project is in coopération with KACST Saudi Arabia, LIP 6 France and Mentor Graphics Tunisia.

She has published more than 7 articles in related journals and conferences. Her current research interests in the fields of embedded systems, Specification and Development of Embedded FPGA and System on Chip design. Ms. Saidi has served as a Reviewer for different conferences and journals, including The Seventeenth International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Communications

Layla WAKRIM obtained her PhD in Telecommunication and Signal Processing from the Faculty of Science Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University, in May 2018, Marrakech-Morocco.M/br>
She is a research professor in Networks and Telecommunication at the Higher Institute of Engineering and Business in Marrakech, Morocco (ISGA- Marrakech).

Her research area is the use of the metaheuristics algorithms, more precisely Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Particle Swarm Algorithm (PSO), antenna design, microwave, millimeter wave antennas.

Mehdi Gheisari is a Ph.D. holder in computer science from Guangzhou University, China. His research interests are IoT, smart city, remote sensing data, distributed systems, cyber security. Prior to that, he was with the Islamic Azad University, where he served in the capacity of lecturer in the department of computer science. Furthermore, he has published papers in several domains in highly ranked journals and ranked conferences. Dr. Debarati Dey Roy graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India in 2003. She obtained her M. Tech degree in VLSI Design from University of Calcutta. She is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology, Kolkata, India since 2005. She is awarded Ph. D from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata, India in 2021. Her current research interest span around the study of analytical modelling of bio-inspired nano scale device designing, nano photonics and also inorganic nano scale devices considering quantum mechanical and quantum-ballistic transmission effects, Low power Nanoscale device designs, ATK-VNL modelling of nano-scale devices, various electronics nano devices and logic gates design etc. Her recent research arena is to design analytical model for organic Nanotube device. She has published more than 19 papers in Science Citation Indexed International Journals of reputed publishers like IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, IET, to name a few.
