Dr. Zhanping You joined the faculty at Texas A&M University – Kingsville in January 2004 as a tenure track Assistant Professor. He accepted a position at the rank of Assistant Professor in December 2005 in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering at Michigan Technological University. He earned his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign in 2003. Dr. You served as Director of the Center of Excellence for Transportation Materials for a few years, which is in partnership between Michigan Department of Transportation and Michigan Technological University for a few years. He was entitled Donald and Rose Ann Tomasini Assistant Professor of Transportation Engineering. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2009, to Professor in 2014, and to Distinguished Professor in 2019. In his capacity as a Professor, he has completed research projects related to road materials. His contribution to pavement and materials research has been featured in newspapers, magazines, and other media. Dr. You has published over 300 papers in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. These publications include prestigious journals such as the Journal of the Transportation Research Board published by the National Academy of Sciences, the ASCE Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering, ASCE Journal of Engineering Mechanics, ASCE Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering, Road Materials and Pavement Design, and Construction and Building Materials. Dr. You has been an effective teacher with his unique teaching philosophy. His teaching interests include transportation materials, pavement design, asphalt materials, and transportation engineering. In 2009, he received the ASCE fellowship of Excellence in Engineering Education (ExCEEd), and he attended the Teaching Workshop at the United States Military Academy at West Point. In 2018, he was named as Outstanding Advisor in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan Tech. He earned the prestigious Michigan Tech Research Award in 2019. Dr. You is an active member in the professional community. He has served as an associate editor for the American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering since 2008, and for the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (English Edition, published by Elsevier) since 2017. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the International Journal of Pavement Research and Technology, Malaysian Construction Research Journal, and the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (published by Elsevier). He has been involved in professional services for many professional organizations including: ASCE (Chair of Mechanics of Pavements Committee and Chair of Bituminous Materials Committee), the Transportation Research Board (TRB), Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists (AAPT), International Society of Asphalt Pavements (ISAP), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM). Dr. You has reviewed technical papers for over 35 journals and has edited four ASCE special publication books. In 2004 and 2005 he was a recipient of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Dwight David Eisenhower Transportation Faculty Fellowship.

Amir H. Gandomi is a Professor of Data Science and an ARC DECRA Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney. Prior to joining UTS, Prof. Gandomi was an Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA and a distinguished research fellow in BEACON center, Michigan State University, USA. Prof. Gandomi has published over two hundred journal papers and seven books which collectively have been cited 25,000+ times (H-index = 72). He has been named as one of the most influential scientific minds and Highly Cited Researcher (top 1% citations and 0.1% researchers) for five consecutive years, 2017 to 2021. He also ranked 18th in GP bibliography among more than 12,000 researchers. He has served as associate editor, editor and guest editor in several prestigious journals such as AE of IEEE TBD and IEEE IoTJ. Prof Gandomi is active in delivering keynotes and invited talks. His research interests are global optimisation and (big) data analytics using machine learning and evolutionary computations in particular.

Dr. Zongjin LI is a Chair professor at University of Macau. He received his B.E. from Zhejiang University in 1982 and obtained both his M.S. and PhD from Northwestern University, Chicago, in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He is a fellow of American Concrete Institute, Chair of China Group of RILEM and Founding President of ACI China Chapter. As the chief scientist, he has led a China Key National Basic Research Project (973), ‘Basic study on environmentally friendly contemporary concrete’. He also founded the Gordon Research Conference, ‘‘Advanced Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Development’ in 2014. He has published 5 technical books, in which ‘Advanced Concrete Technology’ published by John Wiley has been collected by many national libraries and major university libraries and used by many universities as text or reference books for civil engineering. He has also published more than 400 technical papers with a Google Scholar citation of 20515 and H-index of 78. He has also been awarded eight US and seven Chinese patents. Three of his patents have been developed into commercial products. He received the Arthur R. Anderson Medal from American Concrete Institute in 2017 and Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Award from British Royal Academy of Engineering in 2014.

Professor Vivian W. Y. Tam is the Associate Dean (Research and HDR), Associate Dean (International) and Discipline Leader (Construction Management) at School of Built Environment, Western Sydney University, Australia. She is nominated to the College of Expert, Australian Research Council, Australian Government. She received her Ph.D. in sustainable construction from the Department of Building and Construction at City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests are in the areas of environmental management in construction and sustainable development. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Construction Management and Editor of Construction and Building Materials. She has been awarded forty-two research grants (totaled over $8 million), including five national competitive projects from Australian Research Council, Australian Government.

Dr.Luiz Wrobel was awarded a degree in Civil Engineering by the Fluminense Federal University in Brazil in 1974, an MSc in Civil Engineering by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1977 and a PhD in Civil Engineering by the University of Southampton, UK, in 1981. He was a Professor of Civil Engineering at COPPE/UFRJ during the period 1981-1989, when he moved to the UK to work at the Wessex Institute of Technology in Southampton, where he stayed until 1996, when he became a Professor at Brunel University London, where he stayed until the end of 2018. He was also the Director of the Institute of Materials and Manufacturing at Brunel from 2014 to 2018. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), in Brazil. His main area of research interest is on the development and application, both academic and practical, of numerical methods in engineering. His current research activities focus on applications in structural integrity, energy and biomedical engineering. These activities are carried out in collaboration with research groups at Brunel University London and other UK and international universities, as well as industrial companies in Brazil and the UK. Funding for these research projects come primarily from EPSRC, Innovate UK and the Horizon program of the European Union. Published four books on numerical methods in engineering with Springer, Elsevier, Wiley and Computational Mechanics Publications. One of the books, Boundary Element Techniques: Theory and Applications in Engineering, was translated to Japanese, Russian and Chinese. He also published 191 papers in scientific journals and presented 270 papers at international conferences. Wrobel is a Chartered Engineer; Chartered Mathematician; Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE); Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM3); Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA). He was a reviewer of research proposals in seven countries (Brazil, UK, Belgium, Austria, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa); and took part in over 100 PhD and MSc examinations in eleven countries, including Brazil, England, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, Spain, Slovenia, Singapore, Australia, Colombia, and Egypt.

Huu Hao NGO (Hao) is currently a Professor of Environmental Engineering and is Deputy Director, Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater, and Co-Director, Joint Research Centre for Environmental Green Bioprocess, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, FEIT, University of Technology Sydney. He has been elected as President of, International Bioprocessing Association, Fellow of the International Water Association, and Distinguished Fellow of the International Bioprocessing Association. Hao’s expertise and practical experience include advanced biological waste treatment processes, membrane technologies, alternative water resources, resource recovery, environmental impacts assessment, circular economy-based clean technologies, renewable bioenergy, and minimization of wastes and emissions. Hao has published more than 700 publications (citation > 31,000, h-index = 84, based Google November 2021) including 12 books, 40 books chapters. Hao has been named as Highly Cited Researchers (Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science) in 2 categories (Environment and Ecology; and Biology and Biochemistry) in 2021，in Category of Biology and Chemistry in 2020，and in Category of Cross Field in 2019; Mendeley Data Top Cited Researchers in 2020 while being ranked # 1, # 4 and # 5 worldwide in Waste Management and Disposal, Environmental Engineering and Bioengineering, respectively (SciVal, 2016-2021, Scholar Output). Brian Uy is Professor of Structural Engineering and Head of the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney. He is Chairman of the Standards Australia Committees BD32 on Composite Structures for Buildings and BD-90-Part 6 on Steel and Composite Structures for Bridges. He is the Chairman of the Australia Regional Group of the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Australian Group of the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering. Brian is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, the Institution of Structural Engineers, Institution of Civil Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers and the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering.

Kang-Won Wayne Lee is a faculty of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CVE) and RITRC Director at URI. He worked as CVE Director of Graduate Studies from 1996 to 1999 and served as Chairperson from 2005 to 2008. He also served as Chairman of the URI Research Council from 1990 to 1991, and a URI Faculty Senate Executive Committee member from 1992 to 1994. In 1992, Prof. Lee established the RITRC, the recipient of a $12 million research grant under the Transportation Equity Act for the 21 st Century (TEA21) in 1998 and served as R&D Director for the URI Transportation Center (TC) Grant Program from 1999 to 2003. He also has been working with the consortium of University of Maine and received USDOT Region 1 UTC – Transpiration Infrastructure Durability Center grant ($14.7M) in 2018. Prof. Lee earned his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Seoul National University in 1974. During his college years, he served in the Korean Army for three years. Following two years of consulting work as a civil engineer for Lyon Associates and TAMS Inc., he returned to academia and earned his M.S. degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Rutgers Univ. in 1978. After briefly working as a highway construction inspector for the NJ Department of Transportation (DOT), he continued his post-graduate education and received his Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982. He assisted Late Prof. Thomas W. Kennedy who developed Superpave asphalt mix-design during and after his doctoral program. He began his higher education teaching career at the King Saud University in 1982 and joined the URI faculty in 1985. Prof Lee’s research interests are focused on Intelligent Transportation Infrastructure and Systems (ITIS), Sustainable Infrastructure and Energy. He is a founding member of the New England University Transportation Center (NEUTC) at MIT and the New England Transportation Consortium (NETC). He also initiated a joint research program between URI and RIDOT in 1986. He is a founder of the Bituminous Materials Committee (BMC) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and served as chair for 1999-01. He has been a member of Pavement Committee, an ETG for the LTPP Data Analysis Contest, and currently serves as a paper reviewer for Journal of Transportation Engineering and Journal of Civil Engineering Materials. He served as President of the RI Section for 2006-07 and has been elected as an ASCE Fellow in 2008. Prof. Lee was member of several committees of Transportation Research Board (TRB) including AFK40 and AHD25, and currently is a member of AKG90 - Stabilization of Geomaterials and Recycled Materials, AKM30 – Asphalt Materials Selection and Mix Design, and AKT30 – Pavement Maintenance. Other professional memberships include ASTM, AAPT, ITE, and ASEE. He serves as a paper reviewer for the TRR, Journal of AAPT, ASTM Journal of Geotechnical Engineering., ARR, and other technical publications and conferences. Prof. Lee is certified as a Professional Engineer in Rhode Island as well as in Texas. He is a member of the Civil Engineering Honor Society, known as XE. The URI Engineering College recognized his contributions by honoring him with several awards including the Program Development Award in 1987 and the Vincent and Estelle Murphy Faculty Excellence Award in 1990 and 1999. RIDOT presented Prof. Lee with a Meritorious Service Award for contributions to state transportation education and research in 1996. Prof. Lee has contributed to more than 110 publications in the areas of construction materials, pavement, transportation, and civil engineering. Prof. Lee served as President of the Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) from 2007 to 08 and was elected as a member of National Academy of Engineering in Korea (NAEK) in 2007. Prof. Lee also served as President of Korean American University Professors Association (KAUPA) from 2014-17. He has been serving as a member of Board of Directors and Auditor for the New England Korean American Citizens League (KACL) since 2015. Prof. Lee served as a Trustee from 2002 to 2008 and a Deacon of Kingston Congregational Church in 2012 to 2018; He is again serving as a Trustee from 2018 to present.

Dr Yan Zhuge is a Professor in Structural Engineering at UniSA STEM, University of South Australia, Australia. Yan has lectured in several Australian universities for more than 20 years. She has a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Structural Engineering from Beijing, China, a PhD in Structural Engineering from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Prof Zhuge’s main research interests include green concrete materials, composite materials and structures. She has published more than 200 SCI technical papers in the referred international journals and conferences and has been invited as a keynote speaker at several international conferences. Yan has won several Australian government awards and fellowships and attracted funding from Australian Research council and industry. She was the winner of 2018 South Australia Winnovation award in Engineering category. She is the current College of Experts of Australian Research Council (ARC)

Vincent CS Lee is a Senior Member, IEEE and member, FINSIA. His core research skills are on Adaptive Learning and Adaptive Inferencing. He is known for his theoretical and applied work spanning multi-disciplinary research field across IT, Digital Health, Signal/Image and Information Processing, Finance Engineering, Educational Data Mining, Explainable AI, Deep ML, Computer Vision, Value-creating Autonomous Systems, Intelligent techniques for bridge structural monitoring, road pavement quality assessment and tracking of road surface distress. He has served as Technical Program Chairs for several IEEE Flagship International Conferences, IEEE/ACM Scientific Boards, Journal Reviewer and Journal of Robotic Special Issue Editors, Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, Associate EditorQuantitative Methods for Electronic Journal of Business Research Methods. He published extensively in SCImago Q1 Journals: IEEE TSP, IEEE TKDE, Accounting & Finance Journal, Expert Systems with Applications, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, and Automation-inConstruction, Computer Aided Civil and Infrastructural Engineering, Structural Health Monitoring using Convolutional Neural Network and Computer Vision Techniques, NeuroComputing, EJOR, IEEE S&P, etc. To date, Lee has supervised to completion 25 PhD researchers in his specialised research fields. Many of these graduand hold senior executives in MNC and senior scientist posts in Research Institution in Singapore and USA. Prior to joining Academia for three high ranking universities: Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Swinburne University in Melbourne, and the current Monash University in Melbourne, he has worked in the public sectors and MNC corporations in Singapore specialising on Engineering Systems integration, infrastructural System conceptual design and implementations. During in the employ of these corporations and public sector establishments, he led multidisciplinary project teams to the completion (within budget and time schedule) of six large scale projects with total project sum of Approximately S$900 million. As an academic researcher and research team lead, he has secured 25 university seed grants, national and international competitive research grants.

Simon P Michaux is an Associate Professor in geometallurgy at the geological survey of Finland. Work done and research is focused on mineral processing and resource security for the current industrial ecosystem, by examining data patterns in the global mining/minerals/metals industry. The next generation of mineral processing paradigm is being developed at the GTK pilot plant, with the integration of theoretical methods of prediction, empirical methods or measurement and machine learning driven instrumentation. Long term objectives include the development and transformation of the Circular Economy, into a more practical system for the industrial ecosystem to navigate the twin challenges of the scarcity of technology minerals and the transitioning away from fossil fuels. Also, he is working on opening up Europe as a mining frontier to manage minerals supply to resource the incoming renewable energy and electric vehicle network.

Dr. Dong Zhao is an assistant professor of construction management in the School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University, and he advises the Graduate Student Association of Construction. He is LEED AP-certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Prior to joining MSU, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Virginia Tech where he earned his PhD. His research focuses on the computational integration of human information into construction work and training systems. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and serves as a member of several national committees, an National Science Foundation panelist, and an editor or reviewer for many international journals and conferences. Some of his honors include receiving the Best Journal Paper Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers.

After completing a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering and awarded best student, Dr Saidani embarked on a PhD in Structural Engineering at The University of Nottingham, UK, which he successfully completed in 1991. He then stayed on as a post-doctoral research fellow at the same University working on a number of pan-European and national projects with a total value of more than €5m. In 1995, he jointed Coventry University teaching and reaching structural and material engineering subjects. His research interests include steel structures, in particular connections of all types; use of waste materials as cement replacement in the manufacture of concrete; numerical modelling using global and finite element analysis of structural elements; sustainability in design and construction; and engineering education. Dr Saidani is an Associate Professor in Structural Engineering, and Associate Head of School at Coventry University in charge of research. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers, and a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is the author of over 150 papers technical reports and documents, and his research work has been cited in books and magazines. He is editor and a member of the editorial board of a number of international journals.

Dr Norliza binti Mohd Isa is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (Landscape Architecture). Has served for 13 years at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (2015) in Built Environment from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Master of Architecture (2009), Bachelor of Architecture (2007) and Diploma in Architecture (2004) from UTM. Among the academic and teaching awards she has achieved are; Best Student: Doctor of Philosophy, Kulliyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (2015), Teaching Award 2019- Science Technology Category, Citra Karisma UTM, Special Award of the Minister of Education, Curriculum Design and Innovative Delivery (AKRI 2019), Third Place for ImmersiveLearning Experience in addition to Gold Medal Award for NALI 2018 and Gold Medal, UTM Grand Challenges 2018. High interest and enthusiasm towards development activities and student learning projects by holding the principles based on the words of Imam Malik RA: "Manners before Knowledge" is the key to her success implementing the 21st century teaching and learning innovations.

Jan Včelák, Ing. Ph.D. Senior researcher, team leader and principal investigator of several projects at CTU- University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings (Czech), Senior researcher in ICT group in InnoRenew CoE (Slovenia), CTO and co-founder InoSens CZ (Czech). Till 2019 department head (CTU) for monitoring and intelligent control of buildings. His expertise is mainly in sensor networks design, sensor design for special purposes, and complex sensor system design including data processing algorithms, architecture and implementation of IoT LPWAN networks for data transmission. As a postdoc researcher (2007-2012), he was a member of microsystems group in Tyndall NI (Cork, Ireland). His tasks are mainly in coordination of R&D activities and also in modelling and simulation of longterm user behavior in buildings and influence on air handling and cooling of the buildings. He is a coordinator of several research projects in the field of renewable energy sources, energy storage as well as microgrid design. He is an author of several impacted publications, patents and utility models in Czech Republic as well as in USA. In the SmartCity topic he is focusing on smart grids, renewable energy sources usage and electromobility integration in buildings energy systems.

Dr George O Onatu is a Lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of the University of Johannesburg. He was formerly the Head of Department from 2010-2016. He is an exceptional academic leader and experienced researcher with several supervisions and publications on case study research and consultancy with wide publications both locally and internationally. He is a board member of several organizations, including the Association of African Planning Schools (AAPS), Member of Asian Pacific Association of Housing Research, Member of ISOCARP and SAPI, Editorial Board Member of Town and Regional Planning Journal and part of the advisory Panel to the Minister of National Department of Human Settlements South Africa on Covid-19. He has visited more than 15 countries on research collaboration, teaching and learning. I have PhD in Engineering Management.

Gerrit-Jan Knaap is Professor of Urban Studies and Planning, Executive Director of the National Center for Smart Growth Research at the University of Maryland. Knaap earned his B.S. from Willamette University, his MA and PhD from the University of Oregon, and received post-doctoral training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, all in economics. Knaap’s research interests include the interactions between housing markets and policy, the economics and politics of land use planning, the efficacy of economic development instruments, and the impacts of environmental policy. On these subjects, Knaap has authored or coauthored over 65 articles in peer refereed journals, and coauthored or co-edited nine books. He received the Chester Rapkin award for the best paper published in Volume 10 of the Journal of Planning Education and Research, with Greg Lindsey, he received the 1998 best of ACSP award, and in 2006 he received the Outstanding Planner Award from the Maryland Chapter of the American Planning Association. Funding for his research has been provided by the National Science Foundation, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Town Creek foundation, and numerous other federal, state, and local government agencies. He currently serves on the State of Maryland’s Smart Growth Subcabinet, Sustainable Growth Commission, Governor’s Scientific Advisory Panel, and the Mitigation and Science workgroups of the Climate Commission.

Dr. Manoj Khandelwal is a Program Coordinator of mining engineering at Federation University and is an Australian Endeavour Fellow. Dr Khandelwal has more than a decade of research and academic teaching experience in Australia and India. Dr Khandelwal has been recognized as a leading expert in ‘Mining Geomechanics’ and ‘Rock Blasting’. Dr. Kevin R. Grosskopf is a Professor at the Charles W. Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Grosskopf received his Ph.D. from the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction at the University of Florida in 1998. He has served in various capacities in the commercial and utility industry and is a licensed Building Contractor in the State of Florida. Dr. Grosskopf has developed research expertise in building safety and sustainability including IAQ, energy efficiency, and, post-disaster response and recovery. More recently, Dr. Grosskopf transitioned to related areas in building prefabrication and construction workforce development. Dr. Grosskopf has received $8.1M in grants and endowments, including highly competitive contract awards from the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Defense (DoD), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and, the Department of Labor (DOL). In addition, Dr. Grosskopf has written (or contributed to) 4 books, 35 research reports and more than 95 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, including top tier journals of the ASCE, ASTM and ASHRAE. Dr. Grosskopf has also given more than 100 invited presentations including guest lectures and presentations in more than 20 countries. Dr. Grosskopf currently serves as the Associate School Director for ACCE-accredited construction management and ABET-accredited construction engineering programs on both Lincoln and Omaha campuses. Dr. Grosskopf is also P&T chair for construction programs. Dr. Grosskopf has served on the ASC National Board and has coordinated two ASC Annual International Conferences (2009 and 2011).

Dr. Dhaval Gajjar is an Assistant Professor at Clemson University’s Nieri Family Department of Construction Science and Management in the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities. Dr. Gajjar has conducted research over the last 11 years on construction workforce and talent attraction strategies, project delivery, project close-out and post-occupancy evaluation. Sr Dr. Abdullah Hisam B Omar is a senior lecturer in the Department of Geoinformation, Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying at the University Technology of Malaysia where he has been a faculty member since 2000. Dr Abdullah Hisam completed his Ph.D. at University Technology of Malaysia. His research interests lie in the area of geomatic engineering, cadaster, marine cadastre, survey and mapping as well as geographical information, ranging from theory to the data processing and implementation. With 17 years, Dr Abdullah Hisam has extensive survey and mapping experience in geomatic, Remote sensing, LiDAR and geoinformation information science with total Principal consultant responsibility for Department of Survey and Mapping, Malaysia, Malaysian Center for Geospatial Data Infrastructure, Town Planning Department, Department of Irrigation and Drainage, and several private firms. Pietro Matracchiis an architect and Associate Professor at the Architecture Department of the University of Florence, where he has taught Architectural Restoration since 2002. He taught the samesubjectat the universities of Pisa and Perugia. He is the author of papers and monographs on architecturaldiagnosticsaimedat the study of construction techniques, constructionphases and the conservationproblems of materials and structures. He is the author of studies on architecturalcomplexesextended on the urban scale as the towers of San Gimignano. The last monograph published concerns the cathedrals of Pisa, Siena and Florence.

Liborio Cavaleri graduated in Civil Engineering in 1992 at the University of Palermo. Six years later he received his PhD in Structural Engineering. His current position is Associate Professor of Construction Technique at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Materials Engineering of the University of Palermo where he holds the courses of Construction Projects in the Seismic Zone and Construction Technique. He is a member of the Interuniversity Center for Structural, Theoretical and Experimental Dynamics and has taken part in over 35 research projects. Currently cooperates with the Universities of Malta, Athens, San Diego, Belfast to develop the following themes: seismic vulnerability, probabilistic modeling, dynamic identification, innovative techniques and materials for structures, masonry mechanics, framed structures in reinforced concrete, structural ductility. The professor. Cavaleri is the author of over 100 publications, many of which in international journals and is a member of the editorial board of the international magazine The Open Construction and Building Technologies Journal which is indexed by SCOPUS.

Marina Cetkovic is an Associate Professor at the Department for Structural Mechanics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia. She was admitted the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Belgrade in 1993/1994 and received Diploma in the school year 1999/2000 at the Structural Engineering Module, with an average grade of 8.98. She defended Diploma thesis with the title “Elasto-Plastic Timoshenko Beam Analysis” at the Department of Structural Mechanics. In the school year 2004/2005 she defended the Master thesis with the title “Application of Finite Element Method on Generalized Laminated Plate Theory” and in the school year 20010/2011 she defended her Ph.D. thesis with the title “Nonlinear Behavior of Laminated Composite Plates” at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, Serbia. Marina Cetkovic received the Prize by the Belgrade Chamber of Еconomy for the best Diploma thesis defended at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, in 1999/2000. In 2002 she got the second prize for the presentation of Diploma thesis " Elasto-plastic Steel Beam Analysis" at the Workshop for Young Engineers in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, organized by DAAD. In the school year 2004/05 she received the Prize for the best Master thesis defended at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Belgrade. At the Department for Structural Mechanics, Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, Serbia, Marina Cetkovic was appointed for the Probationer Assistant in year 2000, for the Teaching Assistant in year 2005, for the Assistant Professor in in year 2012 and for the Associate Professor in year 2016. She gave the contribution in the preparation and carrying out the practice and exams in teaching courses: Statics of Structures, Structural Mechanics, Stability and Dynamics of Structures, Dynamics of Structures and Earthquake Engineering and Technical Mechanics. Also she participated in the postgraduate courses: Application of Finite Element Method in Civil Engineering and Theory of Composite Structures. Nowdays she is the Associate Professor at the BSc and MSc courses: Structural Mechanics and Elasto-plastic Analysis of Frame Structures, as well as on PhD course Theory of Composite Structures. Marina Cetkovic is author of more than forty papers published in international and national journals, monographs, and reports from international and national conferences. She has more than two hundred citations of published papers. Marina Cetkovic is reviewer in international journals in the field of structural mechanics, especially with relation to formulation of numerical models of composite and FGM structures using FEM and MATLAB. She is coauthor of two books, the first and extended edition of the book Practicum of Statics of Structures. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Belgrade she was a member of commission for the defense of diploma thesis and the member of the commission for the admission to Master Academic studies. Until now, she has participated in four projects of the Serbian Ministry of Science and Technology, and is still on one of them. Marina Cetkovic is a member of the Serbian Society for Mechanics and Society for Structural Integrity and Life of Structures. She speaks and writes in English and has obtained the Middle Level Proficincy of German language.

Dr.Saeed Banihashemi is a Assistant Professor of Built Environment discipline in the School of Design and Built Environment, Faculty of Arts and Design; University of Canberra (UC), Australia. Saeed has a mixed background of architecture and building and construction and obtained his PhD from the Built Environment school of University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Saeed is the editorial board member of the journal of Smart & Sustainable Built Environment and the Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Prior to joining UC, Saeed achieved extensive experience in both academy and industry through teaching in universities and working in companies across Middle East, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Saeed’s teaching is in the areas of BIM, digital and sustainable built environment. Saeed has patented a new method in monitoring of building projects through data analytics application, and authored and co-authored more than 50 research articles and book chapters grounded on the areas of BIM, sustainable and data-driven buildings. Saeed’s work has been cited more than 700 times in frontline journals, dissertations and conferences, mostly in knowledge areas relating to digital and sustainable built environment. He has achieved UC 2019 Early Career Research Excellence award in Science and Technology and 2020 Academic Excellence Award.

Biography M.Sc Emmanuelle Stefânia Holdefer Garcia received a Bachelor´s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2015 and a Master’s of Science Degree in Infrastructure and Geotechnics from Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC in 2017, in Brazil. Currently is a Ph.D. candidate in Infrastructure and Geotechnics from UFSC.Garcia’s researchfocuses on permeable pavements, permeability analysis and the effect of clogging on the permeability in mixtures of concrete and asphalt. She uses experimental and computational methods to investigate the voids on the permeable pavements with stormwater and runoff. M.Sc Garcia also develops research with a Brazilian B-WIM system methodology for the safety assessment of bridges and viaducts as a researcher at the Transportation and Logistics Laboratory - LabTrans at UFSC.

Beiyu is an assistant professor in Computer Science at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. Dr. Lin received her B.S. from Shanghai Maritime University in 2011, her M.S. from Stony Brook in 2013, and M.S. and Ph.D. from Washington State University in 2015 and 2020, respectively. Dr. Louis Katele Kabwe, is a PhD graduate from Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia UBC, Canada and MSc graduate in Environmental Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He is currently working at the Geotechnical Centre of the University of Alberta, Canada as Senior Research Associate, Director of the Unsaturated Soil Mechanics Lab, and Manager of Oil Sands Tailings Research Facility. A. His current work activities: He has been working in oil sands tailings research for over 10 years. My work focuses on the development of laboratory experiments, research methods for the evaluation of the consolidation behavior of oil sands tailings, the influence of freez/thaw on the consolidation properties, the drying processes of oil sands tailings and the evaluation of the performance of tailings dewatering methods. Other aspects of my work included unsaturated soil mechanics for oil sands tailings, coordinating and managing research at the Oil Sands Tailings Research Facility of the Geotechnical Centre of the University of Alberta. B. His previous work experience: ● Extensive experience in Mine and the Environment focusing on mine waste rock management for the prevention of acid rock drainage. Extensive experience in measurement of gas fluxes (CO2 & O2) from mine waste rock piles. ● Extensive experience in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies for mine projects including the Equator Principles. ● Extensive experience in the extraction of uranium from uranium ores including acid leaching, solid-liquid separation, solvent/ion-exchange extractions and precipitation of uranium as “yellow cake”. ● Experience in Electrometals Electrowinning Cell (EMEW ® ) technology for direct extraction of copper and cobalt from leach solutions. ● Extensive experience in the operation of a Multi-Purpose Gamma Irradiator using a 100 kCi Cobalt-60 source for sterilization and irradiation of medical and pharmaceuticals products, preservation of food and vulganization of rubber latex. Antonina Pirrotta has graduated in Civil Engineering from the Palermo University in 1987. She has done her PhD in Structural Engineering in 1996 and as Post-doctoral studies in 1998. In 2000, she became a Researcher, in 2001 Associate Professor and in 2016 Full Professor in the Structural Engineering department at the University of Palermo. She is the author and co-author of about 100 scientific papers dealing with the following fields: stochastic dynamics, active and passive control, stochastic differential calculus, structural health monitoring. She belongs to Editorial Boards of several journals, in particular she serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Engineering Mechanics (ASCE) and of Meccanica. She has several international fellowships as KIT university in Germany, Liege University, Liverpool University, EMI’s fellow. In 2020 she received the 2020 First EASD SENIOR RESEARCH PRIZE in the area of DEVELOPMENT OF METHODOLOGIES FOR STRUCTURAL DYNAMICS, for her important contributions in the fields of passive control, multi-body systems, continuum mechanics, stochastic mechanics, health monitoring.

He teaches across four different engineering programs. Dr. Das is the author of two textbooks published by Wiley and 16 book chapters. Robert Župan was born on October 21, 1973, in Zagreb. He is a Croat by nationality and a citizen of the Republic of Croatia. After primary school in Zagreb and Šibenik, he continued his secondary education at the Technical School in Šibenik. The Faculty of Geodesy enrolls in the academic years 1992/1993. He is the winner of the Dean's (1996) and Rector's Award (1998). He graduated in 1998 from the Faculty of Geodesy. During his military service, he enrolled in the postgraduate scientific master's study in 1999 at the Faculty of Geodesy, majoring in Photogrammetry and Cartography. In 1999 he started working in the Department of Cartography at the Faculty of Geodesy, where he worked as a research novice / assistant. His main areas of interest are topographic cartography, cartographic visualization, thematic cartography and internet maps. In 2003, he received his master's degree from the Faculty of Geodesy with the topic Military topographic map at a scale of 1:25 000. In 2005, he enrolled in doctoral studies. In 2008, he received his PhD from the Faculty of Geodesy with the topic Possibilities of geovisualization with a PDA device in tourist cartography. After defending his doctoral dissertation, he was elected senior assistant, then the scientific-teaching title of assistant professor at the Faculty of Geodesy in 2010. He focuses on solving scientific and practical problems of geovisualization, then in the field of Internet, topographic military, thematic and tourist maps, and their presentation on different media. In the period from 2013 to 2021, he is the leader of a number of scientific research projects. He was promoted to the scientific-teaching title of assistant professor in April 2010, to the scientific title of scientific advisor in April 2014, and in 2019 to the scientific title of scientific advisor in a permanent position. In addition to undergraduate and graduate courses, he taught webmaking at the postgraduate specialist study and geovisualization of forest ecosystems based on interdisciplinary analysis of images obtained by remote sensing and cartographic processes in cartography, photogrammetry, and remote sensing.
