Dr. Bravo made PhD studies in Basic Biomedical Research (1989) in the National University of Mexico (UNAM). Since then she works in the Institute of Biotechnology, UNAM. Her research is focused to the study Cry and Cyt insecticidal toxins produced by Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria. In 1991 she made a Postdoc in Plant Genetic Systems, Belgium and in 1995 another Postdoc in Institute Pasteur, France. She has done several short stays in EMBRAPA Brazil, Pionner Hi-Bred USA and Institute of Plant Protection, China. Currently she has ongoing collaborations with all this institutions. Dr. Bravo has published 202 scientific articles, 33 book chapters, edited 4 books and has 8 patents. She received the research award of the Mexican Academy of Sciences, National University Award for young researchers, AgroBio México Award and Women in Science L'Oreal UNESCO Award.

Ilaria Cacciotti is Full Professor of Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering and Materials Science & Technology at University of Rome "Niccolò Cusano". She graduated in Medical Engineering at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (Master of Science Award ‘Fondazione Raeli’), completed the Ph.D in Materials Engineering (Ph.D Thesis Award ‘Marco Ramoni 2011, Ph.D Thesis AIMAT Award 2012) and obtained the II Level Master degrees in “Forensic Genetics” and in "Protection against CBRNe events". She is expert in the synthesis/processing/characterization of biocompatible nanostructured materials, particularly for applications in the biomedical/environmental/agri-food sectors. She is member of the Editorial Board of several international journals, including Applied Science-MDPI, Applied Surface Science Advances-Elsevier, Frontiers in Biomaterials, Open Journal of Materials Science-Bentham Science. For her research activity, she received more than 20 awards, including the European Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Doctoral Award 2011, ”Young Researcher Award Elsevier Mater Sci Eng C" 2014, “L’ORÉAL-UNESCO Italy for Women and Science 2011” “Women Researcher Award-International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine 2021”.

Jacques S. Beckmann was, from 2013 till 2016, head of clinical bioinformatics at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, and from 2003-2012, Professor of Human Genetics and Director of the Dept. of Medical Genetics at the Univ. of Lausanne (UNIL) and of the Medical Genetics Service of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV). Previously, he held a chair as Full Professor at the Dept. of Molecular Genetics at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. Prior to it he held successively senior research positions at the CEPH (Paris), at Généthon (Evry), and at the Centre National de Génotypage (CNG, Evry), where he served as Deputy-Director. During these years he contributed significantly to the elaboration of genetic, physical and gene maps of the human genome, as well as to the positional cloning of a number of disease loci involved in limb girdle muscular dystrophies, diabetes and other diseases, as well as to the study of genomic disorders and of the genetic basis of complex traits. Professor Chedly Abdelly obtained his Doctorate of State in Natural Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (1997). He coordinated several national and international research projects. He is internationally recognized as an accomplished ecologist and eminent halophyte specialist. He serves as CEO of the Tunisian National Agency for the Promotion of Scientific Research since 2017, CEO of the Centre of Biotechnology of BorjCedria, CBBC, 2011-2017; Director of the laboratory of Extremophile Plants (2010-2018) and the Laboratory of Plant Adaptation for Abiotic Stresses (2002-2010). Professor Chedly Abdelly has actively and remarkably contributed in the field of Biological Sciences, with particular emphasis on the characterization of the of plant responses to abiotic constraints using physiological, biochemical and molecular parameters, addressing plant behavior to combined environmental constraint, the valorization of extremophile plants in the rehabilitation of marginal areas and the characterization of extremophile plants in order to identify promising species which combine stress tolerance and economic potential, new sources of biomass for human nutrition and the production of energy biomaterials and biomolecules of interest He has an outstanding proven track record of publications in distinguished journals (440 publications, h index 68, 18294citations) and edited the book "Biosaline Agriculture and High Salinity Tolerance". Dr. Hans-Uwe Dahms is a professor at Kaohsiung Medical University. He is interested in environmental health as it affects human public health, and particularly in responses to stressors at different integration levels. He, his colleagues and students study the causes, mechanisms, pathways, and prevention of pollution and the toxicology of stressors from physical, chemical, and biological sources, particularly in aquatic environments. He is equally interested in the spread and prevention, especially of infectious diseases and antibiotic-resistance, and in food and drink safety from water sources, particularly at a scenario of global and global climate change. His studies further include integrative and sustainable approaches in environmental and public health monitoring, risk assessment, remediation, and management. He advised more than 25 Ph.D. students in their research and was writing and publishing more than 300 papers in scientific journals. He served as a reviewer for more than 86 SCI journals and is editorial board member of 16 scientific journals, academic editor for Environmental and Public Health of PLosONE, and specialty chief editor for FRONTIERS in Marine Pollution.

Chee Kong Yap is working as a full professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) since 2021. Prof Yap is an academician for more than 19 years at UPM and 24 years as a researcher. Prof Yap has supervised more than 80 undergraduates and 31 postgraduate students in the fields of ecotoxicology, environmental biology, environmental sciences, water quality and ecotoxicological genetics. Professor Adil Mardinoglu is an expert in the field of Systems Medicine, Systems Biology, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. He has been recruited as a Professor of Systems Biology in Center for Host-Microbiome Interactions, King’s College London, UK where he leads a computational group. He also works as group leader in Science for Life Laboratory (Scilifelab), KTH-Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and led a team of 25 researchers working in the area of computational biology, experimental biology and drug development to develop new treatment strategies for Metabolic diseases, Neurodegenerative diseases and certain type of cancers. Professor Mardinoglu received his Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering and his Ph.D. from Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland in magnetic drug targeting applications. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. His recent research activities include the generation of the context specific genome-scale metabolic models (GEMs) for human cell-types including liver, adipose, muscle, heart, kidney and brain as well as certain types of cancer e.g liver, kidney, colon, prostate and brain (glioblastoma) cancers. His research team also focuses on the integration of GEMs with the other biological networks including regulatory, protein-protein interactions and signaling networks. He employs comprehensive biological networks for revealing the molecular mechanisms of complex diseases, identification of novel biomarkers and drug targets and eventually development of efficient treatment strategies. Professor Mardinoglu has contributed to the creation of human tissue, subcellular and pathology atlas within the Swedish Human Protein Atlas program and cell atlas within the international Human Cell Atlas program. He has published around 100 research and review papers in different journals including Science, Cell Metabolism, Nature Communications, PNAS, Cell Reports, Molecular Systems Biology and EbioMedicine. He is also co-founder of different biotech companies focusing on the development of novel drugs for metabolic diseases and different cancer types.

Dr. Emmanuel Loeb is the CEO and Founder Patho-Logica, a service provide company for experimental pathology for the life sciences and Pharmaceutic industry. Dr. Loeb is a graduate of The School of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, The Netherlands, and a qualified expert (IL Diploma) veterinary pathologist with published papers. Azli Yahya is an Associate Professor in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since 2015 until now. He is also a Chartered and Professional Engineer. He holds a Degree in Electro-Mechanical Power System and Masters Degree in Electronic Production from Glamorgan University, UK. He is a doctorate of Loughborough University, UK specializing in Power Electronic System. Andrea Karlovic graduated in 2014 from the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology at the University of Mostar, majoring in Food Technology. After finishing her studies, she works as an external assistant at the mentioned faculty in the department of Wine Technology and Strong Alcohol Production. Dr. Isabelle Brock holds a degree in medicine from Windsor University School of Medicine, a certification in diagnosis and treatment for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) from Paris Est Créteil University in Paris, France, and a certification in Ayurvedic medicine for medical professionals from the Institute of Ayurveda & Alternative Medicine, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. Dr. Brock currently serves as President for the Research & Study Group for EDS (GERSED) in France and is a member of the Belgian GERSED. Her efforts in the support of EDS research haveled to her to founding President and CEO of the medical research company, QoLify (Quality of Life Improvements for You) as well as co-founding Clinical Paradigms and 3- Pillars Therapeutics for seeing EDS patients regularly. She is a visiting scientist at Indiana University in the Department of Medical & Molecular Genetics, and the Health Center for EDS. In addition to service as the Chief Scientific Officer at the EDS Initiative – Deutschland, Dr. Brock holds memberships to the Allergy, Immunology & Pain Management Working Groups of the InternationalConsortium on EDS and its Comorbidities as well as inthe AHEAD Coalition and the ‘Breaking Down Barriers’ Initiative of the EDS Society. Corine Laurenda Sinsin is a Young female of 29 years old, I am a PhD in climate change, biodiversity, and ecosystem services. I hold a master degree in Climate Change and Education, and a bachelor of science degree in Agronomy and Natural Resources Management. Additionally, I have cumulated competences and skills from practical courses relevant to the application of deep learning to climate change, conservation of biodiversity through protection, valuation, and sustainable management of biological resources. His research focuses on the process development of cavitation-based reactors towards technologically important nanomaterials, greener extraction of natural products, water treatment, development of pharmaceutical nanoemulsions and utilizing novel carbon nanomaterials to design biosensors for the earlier detection of cancer and diabetes. He took various leadership roles at the University of Nottingham, including Director of Research, Founding Director for the Centre for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, Head - Manufacturing and Industrial Research Division and Associate Dean for Research and Knowledge Exchange. He is also the Deputy Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Engineering at UTB. He has completed over 20 industrial and government-funded projects and supervised more than 50 research students. He has published ~250 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. His h-index is 52 (scholar google). He is also the Executive Editor of Ultrasonics Sonochemistry (Elsevier, Q1, IF 9.3) Journal. He serves as a board member of the Asia Oceania Sonochemical Society (AOSS), as well as the Fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK) and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
