Ronald R. Yager has worked in the area of machine intelligence for over twenty-five years. He has published over 500 papers and fifteen books in areas related to fuzzy sets, decision making under uncertainty and the fusion of information. He is among the world’s top 1% most highly cited researchers with over 7000 citations. He was the recipient of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Pioneer award in Fuzzy Systems. Dr. Yager is a fellow of the IEEE, the New York Academy of Sciences and the Fuzzy Systems Association. He was given a lifetime achievement award by the Polish Academy of Sciences for his contributions. He served at the National Science Foundation as program director in the Information Sciences program. He was a NASA/Stanford visiting fellow and a research associate at the University of California, Berkeley. He has been a lecturer at NATO Advanced Study Institutes. He is a visiting distinguished scientist at King Saud University, Riyadh Saudi Arabia. He is a distinguished honorary professor at the Aalborg University Denmark. Prof. Josef Kittler has been a Research Assistant in the Engineering Department of Cambridge University (1973--75), SERC Research Fellow at the University of Southampton (1975-77), Royal Society European Research Fellow, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications, Paris (1977--78), IBM Research Fellow, Balliol College, Oxford (1978--80), Principal Research Associate, SERC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (1980--84) and Principal Scientific Officer, SERC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (1985). Contributions to statistical pattern recognition include k-nearest neighbor methods of pattern classification, feature selection, contextual classification, probabilistic relaxation, and most recently to multiple expert fusion. In computer vision, my major contributions include robust statistical methods for shape analysis and detection, motion estimation and segmentation, and image segmentation by thresholding and edge detection. He co-authored a book with the title `Pattern Recognition: a statistical approach' published by Prentice-Hall and published more than 500 papers. He is served as a member of the Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence during 1982-85. Currently serves on the Editorial Boards of Pattern Recognition Letters, Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Analysis, and Applications. Dr. Tingwen Huang is a professor at Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ). His research focuses on the dynamics of neural networks, neuromorphic computing, reinforcement learning, multi-agent, smart grid, and their applications. Distinguished Professor Jie Lu is an internationally renowned scientist in the areas of decision support systems, fuzzy transfer learning, concept drift, and recommender systems. She is an IEEE fellow, IFSA Fellow, and Australian Laureate fellow; the Director of the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII) and the Associate Dean (Research Excellence) in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Professor Bruno Siciliano is Director of the Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery (ICAROS), as well as Coordinator of the Laboratory of Robotics Projects for Industry, Services, and Mechatronics (PRISMA Lab), at University of Naples Federico II. He is an Honorary Professor at Óbuda University, where he holds the Kálmán Chair. Fellow of the scientific societies IEEE, ASME, IFAC, he received numerous international prizes and awards, and he was President of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society from 2008 to 2009. Since 2012 he is on the Board of Directors of the European Robotics Association. He has delivered more than 150 keynotes and has published more than 300 papers and 7 books. His book “Robotics” is among the most adopted academic texts worldwide, while his edited volume “Springer Handbook of Robotics” received the highest recognition for scientific publishing: 2008 PROSE Award for Excellence in Physical Sciences & Mathematics. His research team got more than 20 projects funded by the European Union for a total grant of 14 M€ in the last ten years, including an Advanced Grant from the European Research Council.

Branko Ristic received all degrees in electrical engineering: Ph.D. from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 1995, M.Sc. from Belgrade University in 1991, and B. Eng. from The University of Novi Sad in 1984. Dr Ristic held various research/engineering positions in former Yugoslavia (Institute BK Vinca, University of Novi Sad) and Australia (University of Queensland, QUT, GEC Marconi Systems) until he joined in 1996 the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), where he stayed until 2015. His role in DSTO was to carry out research, develop new capabilities and provide technical advice to the Australian Defence Organisation on topics of target tracking, multi-sensor fusion and reasoning under uncertainty. During 2003/04 he spent a year in IRIDIA (Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium) on study leave. Since September 2015, Branko Ristic is a Principal Research Fellow in the School of Engineering of RMIT University. Dr Ristic co-authored two books, ''Beyond the Kalman filter: Particle filters for tracking applications'' (Artech House, 2004), and '' Particle filters for random set models'' (Springer, 2013), several book chapters and more than 100 journal articles. He presented several plenary talks, short courses, and tutorials. In 2007 the book “Beyond the Kalman filter” was voted the top 10 publication in 100 years of DSTO. The article "Bernoulli filter for joint detection and tracking of an extended object in clutter" won the Premium award for the Best Paper in IET Radar, Sonar, Navigation (2014). Best paper awards also received at Information Fusion conferences (2004, 2005, 2010, 2016, 2017), and DICTA conferences (in 2005 and 2009). Xiao-Jun Wu received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, PR China in 1991 and M.S. degree in 1996, and a Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and Intelligent System in 2002, both from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, PR China, respectively. He was a fellow of United Nations University, International Institute for Software Technology(UNU/IIST) from 1999 to 2000. From 1996 to2006, he taught in the School of Electronics and Information, JiangsuUniversity of Science and Technology where he was an exceptionally promoted professor. He joined the School of Information Engineering (now renamed as School of IoT Engineering), Jiangnan University in 2006where he is a distinguished professor of level two. He won the most outstanding postgraduate award by Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He has published more than 300 papers in his fields of research, among which 100 papers have been indexed by SCI and more than 100 papers have been indexed by EI. He has won different awards including the international award, national award, and provincial award for his research achievements. He was a visiting postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for Vision, Speech, and Signal Processing(CVSSP), University of Surrey, UK from 2003 to 2004, under the supervision of Professor Josef Kittler. His current research interests are pattern recognition, computer vision, fuzzy systems, neural networks, and intelligent systems. He was an associate editor of the International Journal of Computer Mathematics. He is currently a review editor of Frontiers in Neurorobotics, and editor of Journal of Algorithm and Computational Technology, Associate Editor, Computers in Biology and Medicine respectively. Amir H. Gandomi is a Professor of Data Science and an ARC DECRA Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney. Prior to joining UTS, Prof. Gandomi was an Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA, and a distinguished research fellow in BEACON Center, Michigan State University, USA. Prof. Gandomi has published over two hundred journal papers and seven books which collectively have been cited 20k+ times (H-index = 66). He has been named as one of the most influential scientific minds and Highly Cited Researcher (top 1% publications and 0.1% researchers) for four consecutive years, 2017 to 2020. He also ranked 18th in GP bibliography among more than 12,000 researchers. Wenwu Wang received the B.Sc. degree in 1997, the M.E. degree in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in 2002, all from the College of Automation, Harbin Engineering University, China. He then worked in King’s College London (2002-2003), Cardiff University (2004-2005), Tao Group Ltd. (now Antix Labs Ltd.) (2005-2006), Creative Labs (2006-2007), before joining the University of Surrey in May 2007, where he is a Professor in Signal Processing and Machine Learning, and a Co-Director of the Machine Audition Lab within the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing. He is also a Guest Professor at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, China. He was a Visiting Scholar at Ohio State University, USA, in 2008. His current research interests include blind signal processing, sparse signal processing, audio-visual signal processing, machine learning and perception, artificial intelligence, machine audition (listening), and statistical anomaly detection. He has (co)-authored over 250 publications in these areas. Dr. Mozafar Saadat obtained his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, and his Ph.D. in Industrial Automation from Durham University, UK. His research interests are in the application of intelligent systems and technologies in robotics and industrial automation. He has conducted applied and industrially-relevant research in electronics, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors and has collaborated with major companies and SMEs to develop new and innovative systems. In recent years his research in medical robotics has resulted in a number of international patent applications and a spinoff company. He has published widely in prestigious journals and international conferences and has held major grants from the EU, EPSRC, Innovate UK, and industry. He is a senior member of IEEE and a Fellow of UK's Higher Education Academy. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University Birmingham, UK, where he leads the Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (AIM) Laboratory.

Dr Mahmoud Shafiee (PhD, CEng, MIMechE, MIET, MIMA, FHEA, PGCHE) is the Deputy Head of School of Engineering, Head of Mechanical Engineering Group, and Programme Lead and Reader in Mechanical Engineering at University of Kent in Canterbury, United Kingdom. Dr Shafiee as had several managerial and research positions, including: Head of Research Group, Master’s Course Director, Research Scientist, Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate, Visiting Researcher, etc. at very prestigious universities in the world. He has led several government and industry funded research projects within different industry sectors, and worked with a number of academic and industry partners worldwide. Dr. Andrea L’Afflitto is an assistant professor at the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech and researches problems in the fields of guidance and nonlinear robust control. The primary sources of inspiration and testbeds for Dr. L’Afflitto’s work are small autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) performing unconventional tasks such as tactical mapping of unknown hostile environments, sensor placement in remote locations, and payload pickup and delivery. Dr. L’Afflitto is the recipient of the 2018 DARPA Young Faculty Award and thus far, his research has been supported by ARL, ONR, NSF, the US Department of the Navy, and NOAA. Dr. L’Afflitto is the author of a monograph on flight controls, 2 book chapters, 19 journal papers, and 20 publications that appeared in the proceedings of international peer-reviewed papers. Lastly, Dr. L’Afflitto is an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, and as a member of the IEEE Conference Editorial Board, he serves as an associate editor for multiple IEEE conferences.

Thiusius Rajeeth Savarimuthu received in 2011 his Ph.D. degree in Robotics and embedded medical vision. In 2005 he received his B.Sc. degree in Computer System Engineering and the M.Sc. in Computer System Engineering in 2007 at the University of Southern Denmark. He is currently a full Professor at the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at the University of Southern Denmark, where he is heading the Medical Robotics group and vice head of SDU Robotics. He has conducted research in both national and international research projects. His research interests include industrial robotics, AI, and hardware acceleration of image processing algorithms and control of medical robotic systems. Prof. Loredana Zollo (female), MS 2000, Ph.D. 2004, is Full Professor of Bioengineering at UCBM and head of the CREO Lab -- Advanced Robotics and Human-Centred Technologies -- at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. She presently is the Director of the Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering in the same university. In 2000 she joined ARTS Lab (Advanced Robotics Technology and Systems Laboratory) of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, where she got the Ph.D. in Bioengineering in 2004. In 2003 she was visiting student in the Laboratory of Neuroscience INSERM483, at the University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, investigating issues of neuroscience related to biological motor control and applicable to robotic platforms. In 2008 she was appointed assistant professor at UCBM. Her research interests are mainly in the fields of rehabilitation and assistive robotics, bio-robotics, and bionics, human-machine interfaces, collaborative robotics. She was program co-chair of ICNR 2018, editor and associate editor for several international conferences, e.g. IROS 2019, IROS 2018, Ro-Man 2019, Ro-Man 2017, EMBC 2019 and BioRob2012, IROS 2012, IROS 2013, BioRob2014, and member of the IPC of a number of International Conferences in her fields of expertise. Abed Malti received the MS degree in control systems and signal processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (Nancy, France) in 2002. He did his Ph.D. thesis in the robotic team of LAAS-CNRS (Toulouse, France), where he worked in sensor landmark motion planning for mobile robots. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2005 from the University of Paul Sabatier (Toulouse, France). From 2006 to 2008, he followed up with MS degree studies in basic mathematics. From 2008 to 2015, he worked as Research Fellow in computer vision applied to medical assisted surgery. Since 2015, he is an Associate Professor at the University of Tlemcen, Algeria. He is also CSO and Head of Technology at octi startup in Los Angeles, California, USA. The startup aims at developing augmented reality techniques for mobile platforms.

Dr. Süreyya Özöğür-Akyüz received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Middle East Technical University, in 2009. She has been working with the Department of Mathematics, Bahçeşehir University since 2009. She contributed many multidisciplinary applications of Machine Learning such as bioinformatics, finance, business analytics but also involved in theoretical machine learning from optimization perspective. Her research interests include machine learning, optimization, neuroscience, biomedical applications, and bioinformatics.

Dr.Vladan Papić is a professor of computer science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Split, Croatia. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the same university in 1993, 1996, and 2002, respectively. He is working as a researcher at the University of Split since 1997. Previous working experiences include working in IT companies on the development of various software solutions. His research interests are focused on computer vision, robotics, and intelligent systems. Currently, his work is dominantly related to applications of UAVs for remote sensing and search and rescue missions. He has published more than 40 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and more than 70 conference papers.

Mika Sato-Ilic holds positions as Professor in the University of Tsukuba, Vice President in the National Statistics Center of Japan, committee member in the Financial Services Agency of Japan, and a member of the Science Council of Japan. She is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Soft Data Paradigms, Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Neurocomputing, Information Sciences, and on the editorial board of several journals. She is an ISI Elected Member and was a Council of the International Association for Statistical Computing (a section of the International Statistical Institute), a Senior Member of the IEEE where she held several positions, including the Vice-Chair of the Fuzzy Systems Technical Committee of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, and worked on several IEEE committees. Her academic output includes four books, 14 book chapters, and over 140 journal and conference papers.

Andrea Demofonti received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial and Biomedical Engineering both from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Rome, Italy, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering in the Research Unit of Advanced Robotics and Human-Centred Technologies (CREO Lab) at the same university. His research interests focus on the use of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) for the restoration of sensory feedback in patients with upper or lower limb amputations, the use of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders, design and development of multi degrees of freedom robotic module for prosthetic and rehabilitative applications.

Four years ago, Dr. Luc Rolland joined the University of the West of Scotland where he actually acts as a lecturer on Robotics, Industrial Automation and Controls in the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences. With four industrial partners, he is now working on research transfer projects: one on the robotic work cell design of laser bars aimed at high-performance micro-manipulation and another on the design of the in-line automation system for an ozone cleaning process of garments hiring. He is supervising a Ph.D. student on autonomous vehicle certification from which a patent is being applied for. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Montreal Polytechnic (University of Engineering) in December 1984 and then obtained his Master degree in Robotics Workcell Simulation where the research was partly funded by General Electric Canada. From 1987 until 1996, he practised engineering in instrumentation, automation, controls and robotics on large scale factory projects for four different companies: TAR (Chargeurs Reunis), SNC-Lavalin, BPCO (GE Canada) and Met-chem (USX Consultants). From 1996 until 1998, as a research assistant at the Lausanne Federal Polytechnic University (EPFL), he has designed the Manta and Kanuk robots, the first two 4 DOF parallel robots for Schoenflies motion, the resulting paper has been cited more than 100 times. Then, in 2003, he received his PhD diploma in computer science from the Universite Henri Poincare in Nancy (France), benefiting from three bursaries: the INRIA, the Lorraine Region and CMW-Marioni, a company that manufactures high-speed milling machines. He contributed to the first parallel robot simulator aimed at milling task certification, verification and fine-tuning. He was awarded two French Government prizes for outstanding research and technology transfer to industry. After his PhD thesis, he has been involved in various robotics and automation projects often involving partnerships with the industry.

Mr. Chernyshov is a software engineer in the field of information systems and intelligent technologies. He is currently on the way to obtain Ph.D. in Robotic Systems and Mechatronics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russian Federation. His research interests are in hardware-level algorithms along with intelligent control systems in robotics. He had been a speaker in International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modeling in Education 2019” and International Congress “Technical Systems Modelling”. Mr. Chernyshov is the author of several articles published by AIP Conference Proceedings.

N. Alvarez-Jarquin, received the PhD in Physics from the University of Paris-Sud 11, France in 2015. Since 2016 she has been a full researcher with the Chairs Program of the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) in the National Laboratory of Geo intelligence, CentroGeo, Aguascalientes, Mexico. Hoshang Kolivand is Assistant Professor in Computer Graphics. He received his MS degree in applied mathematics and computer from Amir kabir University of Technology, Iran, in 1999, and his PhD from Media and Games Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGIC-X) in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2013. He has completed a Post-Doctoral in Augmented Reality in UTM. Previously he worked as a lecturer in Shahid Beheshti University, Iran and then as a Senior Lecturer in UTM. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University. Mario Di Castro received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Naples "Federico II", Italy, and the PhD degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. From 2007 until 2011, he works at DESY in charge of advanced mechatronics solutions for synchrotron beamlines and industrial controls. Since 2011, he works at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and he leads the Measurements, Robotics and Operation section. The section is responsible for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of control systems based on different platforms (PLC,PXI,VME) for movable devices characterized by few um positioning accuracy (e.g. scrapers, collimators, shielding and target) in hard radioactive environment. Important section activities are the design, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of robotic systems in hazardous environments for the whole CERN accelerators. His research interests are mainly focused on machine learning, enhanced reality, automatic controls, mechatronics, motion control in harsh environment and advanced robotics also for search and rescue scenarios.

Dr. Yongsheng Ma is a full professor at the University of Alberta (UA) where he joined since 2007. Dr. Ma is also a member of ASEE, SME, SPE, CSME and an Alberta registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). His main research areas include engineering informatics for design and manufacturing, CADCAM, and product lifecycle management. He has been teaching a number of courses including mechanical engineering design, manufacturing systems, engineering informatics, and engineering management. Dr. Ma received his B.Eng. from Tsinghua University, Beijing (1986), both M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from UMIST, UK. He was an associate professor with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore during 2000-2007. Dr. Ma started his career as a polytechnic lecturer in Singapore (1993-1996); and then a research fellow, senior research fellow, and group manager (1996-2000) at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology. Dr. Ma has had an established research profile with many research projects from different sources and published more than 200 internationally recognized top journal and conference papers, and book chapters. Dr. Ma had been an associate editor of IEEE Transaction of Automation Science and Engineering (2009-2013). In 2012, he won the prestigious ASTech award sponsored by The Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation together with Drader Manufacturing Ltd. Yuichiro Toda received a Ph.D. from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2017. Bashar Alhnaity is a Data Scientist Since 2016, a member of Leeds sustainability institute, School of Built environment, Engineering and Computing since 2020, at Leeds Becket University, UK. He received a Ph.D. degree in Machine Learning from Brunel University London in 2016. He has been a visiting research fellow at Machine Learning Lab, the University of Lincoln since 2020. Before, he stayed at the University of Lincoln (2018-2020) as a Data scientist and controls, at Hashemite University, Jordan as a Lecturer (2017), and Essex University as Data Scientist (2016-2017). His research focused on empirical modeling of time series data, sensor and signal processing, and prediction using artificial intelligence techniques. His past and current activity involve working with national and international collaborators on nuclear reactor perturbation analysis, optimizing retail refrigeration systems, treating missing values in environmental time series, domain adaptation for food retail packaging, image recognition quality detection, and yield and growth prediction for different plants in the greenhouse environment. Dr. Yuanchang Liu received the B.Eng. degree in control engineering from the Dalian University of Technology, in 2010, the M.Sc. degree in power systems engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in marine control engineering from University College London, in 2011 and 2016, respectively, where he is currently a Lecturer with the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Before joining the department, he was a Research Fellow in robotic vision and autonomous vehicles of the Surrey Space Centre, University of Surrey. His research focuses on automation and autonomy, with a special interest in the exploration of technologies for sensing and perception, and guidance and control of intelligent and autonomous vehicles. He is currently supervising four Ph.D. students, working on the project of autonomous navigation for field robotics in uncontrolled and unstructured environments.

Guillaume Caron is Associate Professor since 2011, heading the Robotic Perception group of the MIS laboratory since 2016, at Universite de Picardie Jules Verne, France. He received a Ph.D. degree in robotics and the Habilitation degree from the same university in 2010 and 2019. He has been delegated to CNRS at CNRS-AIST Joint Robotics Lab, Japan since 2019. Before, he stayed at Inria Rennes, France (2010-2011) and at the University of Osaka, Japan (Apr.-May 2013). His research is focused on direct robotic vision, which is considering low-level visual information (brightness) to perform high-level robotic tasks (positioning, localization, navigation, assistance). His research is applied to assistive robotics for disabled people and digital heritage to archive large buildings, enhance the models, and let people interact with them. He has been chairing the IAPR TC19 "Computer vision for cultural heritage applications" since 2018 and was co-organizer of several e-Heritage international workshops (2017, 2019).

Daowen Qiu has been a full professor of computer science at Sun Yat-sen University since 2004, and his research interests are focused on new computing models, quantum computing, quantum communication, fuzzy and probabilistic automata as well as their applications to discrete event systems. He has published peer-reviewed over 130 papers in international journals. Luis Martinez was born in 1970. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Sciences, both from the University of Granada, Spain, in 1993 and 1999, respectively. Currently, he is a Full Professor of the Computer Science Department at the University of Jaen. His current research interests are fuzzy decision making, machine learning, fuzzy systems, decision support systems, personalized marketing, computing with words, and recommender systems. He co-edited eleven journal special issues on fuzzy preference modelling, soft computing, linguistic decision making, and fuzzy sets theory and has been the main researcher in 16 R&D projects, also has published more than 160 papers in journals indexed by the SCI as well as 33 book chapters and more than 170 contributions in International Conferences related to his areas. Dorian Cojocaru graduated from the Nicolae Balcescu High school (now Carol I) in Craiova, in 1977 - an intensive mathematics class. In 1977 he was admitted to university studies with an average grade - 10.00 at the admission exam. He holds a bachelor's degree in Automation and computers, - Computers' Science program, issued in 1983 by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Craiova. He has been granted the Ph.D. title in Automation Systems in 1997 with a thesis in the field of acquisition, processing, and recognition of images. Dorian Cojocaru is a Ph.D. coordinator in the field of Mechatronics and Robotics. Currently, Dorian Cojocaru is a Professor and Head of the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics at the Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics, University of Craiova. He holds the General secretary and the member positions within the Council of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Current areas of research interest are artificial vision, mechatronics and robotics, new policies and trends in technical higher education. Dorian Cojocaru has published more than 15 books, over 150 scientific papers and has coordinated over 15 national and international research contracts. He has been a member of various committees, committees, national and international bodies.

Prof. Univ. Dr. Eur Ing Ionel STARETU: graduated from the Faculty of TCM (Technology of Mechanical Constructions) of Transilvania University of Brasov (1983). He won the title of Doctor in Engineering, with specialization in Industrial Robots - Robotics, in 1995. Specializations: in Tribology (Transilvania University -1990), in Robotics and Productics (the INSTN Saclay, France-1992/1993), Organization Management (Transilvania University and IAI-1999 / 2000), Quality Management (2003), Quality Audit (2004) at Transilvania University. Since 2003, he is an Extrajudicial Technical Expert and Consultant certified by CERTEXPERT Bucharest and AEXEA Paris and Expert CNCSIS and ARACIS. He has been working since 1985 at the Department of Product Design and Robotics at Transilvania University of Brasov. He published 5 books(one in USA: Gripping Systems, Derc Publishing House, 2011), 5 didactic papers, and more than 225 scientific articles in the country and abroad (USA, Italy, France, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Tunisia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Japan, India, China, etc.). He is the author or co-author of 11 patents of invention. He helped to resolve more than 26 scientific research grants, both national and international (for 4 of them as project director). He is the president of the Brasov branch of the Robotic Society of Romania, vice president of the branch AGIR-The General Association of the Engineers in Romania Brasov and member in National Committee AGIR, ARoTMM member, and expert in Robotics at the Academic Society in Romania, and CRIFST (Romanian Committee for History and Philosophy of the Science and Technique - Romanian Academy) member. He is certified EUR ING by FEANI – European Federation of National Engineering Associations, in 2008. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Mechanics Engineering and Automation-USA, Military Technical Courier-Serbia, Annals of the Dunarea de Jos University of Galati - Fascicle XIV-Mechanical Engineering, TEHNOMUS Journal(Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava), and AGIR Bulletin-Romania. He was co-chairman of 4TH International Conference Robotics’08, 2008, Brasov, Romania and member in more international scientific committees: International Conference: IMETI (Orlando, SUA, 2008, 2009,2010,2011,2012,2013), International Conference on Robotics, Romania (2002, 2006,2008,2010,2012,2014); International Conference TEHNOMUS (2005,2007, 2009,2011,2013-2020); International conference Inter Eng ( 2007, 2009, 2011,2013, 2014- 2019, 2020) etc. He was a lecturer at International School on Robotics and Intelligent Systems –ISRIS 2009 and Summer School on Human-Machine Systems, Cyborgs, and Enhancing Devices – HUMASCEND 2012, Iasi, Romania. Prof. Dr. Sorin Grigorescu received the Ph.D. degree in Robotics from the University of Bremen, Germany, in 2010 and the Dipl.-Eng. Degree in Control Engineering and Computer Science from Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania, in 2006. Between 2006 and 2010 he was a member of the Institute of Automation, University of Bremen, where he coordinated the FRIEND service robotics project. Sorin is a professor at the Department of Automation, Transilvania University of Brasov, where he holds the Robotics Chair and leads the Robotics, Vision and Control Laboratory (ROVIS), which he founded in 2010. Since 2013, he is also affiliated with Elektrobit Automotive, where he is the Global Head of Artificial Intelligence.

Prof. Manu Pratap Singh received his Ph.D. from Kumaun University Nainital, Uthrakhand, India, in 2001. He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science from Allahabad University, Allahabad in 1995.He is currently working as Professor in Department of Computer Science, Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, UP, India since 2014. He is engaged in teaching and research since last 20 years. He has more than 90 research papers in journals of international and national repute. His work has been recognized widely around the world in the form of citations of his research papers. He also has received the Young Scientist Award in computer science by international Academy of Physical sciences, Allahabad in year 2005. He has developed a feed forward neural networks simulator for hand written character recognition of English alphabets. He has also developed a hybrid evolutionary algorithm for hand written character recognition of English as well as for Hindi language classification. In his hybrid approach the Genetic algorithm is incorporated with back propagation learning rule to train the feed forward neural networks. In this approach the genetic algorithm starts from the suboptimal solution and converges for the optimal solutions. This approach leads for the multi objective optimization phenomena. Another hybrid approach of evolutionary algorithm has been developed for the feedback neural network of Hopfield type for efficient recalling for the memorized patterns. Here also the randomness from the genetic algorithm is minimized by starting it from the suboptimal solution in the term of parent weight matrix for the global optimal solutions i.e. correct weight matrices for the network to consider it for efficient pattern recalling. His research interests are focused on Neural networks, pattern recognition and machine intelligence, soft-computing, quantum computing etc. He is a member of technical committee of IASTED, Canada since 2004. He is also the regular member of machine intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs), scientific network for innovation and research excellence (SNIRE), Auburn, Washington, USE, http://www.mirlabs.org, since 2012.His Google citation indices are h-14, i10-index is 16 and he has 434 citations. AMGAD MUNEER was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Higher Education in Yemen to study Mechatronics Engineering in Malaysia. He received his B.Eng. degree (Hons) in mechatronic engineering from Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), Malaysia, in 2018. Currently, he is holding a scholarship for postgraduate studies from University Technology PETRONAS. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in information technology at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. Wojciech Jamroga is an associate professor at the Polish Academy of Sciences and a research scientist at the University of Luxembourg. His research focuses on modeling, specification, and verification of interaction between intelligent agents. Currently, he works mainly on applying logic-based specification and verification techniques to information security requirements for voting protocols, in particular on formalizations of confidentiality, coercion-resistance, and voter-verifiability in e-voting protocols. Prof. Jamroga obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Twente, Netherlands in 2004, and completed his habilitation at the Clausthal University of Technology, Germany in 2009. He has co-authored over 100 refereed publications, including the Best Paper Award at the main European conference on electronic voting E-VOTE-ID in 2016, and a Best Paper Nomination at the main agent systems conference AAMAS in 2018. According to Google Scholar, his h-index is 22, the i10-index is 51, and the citation score is 2346. He also served on the Program Committees of the most important conferences and workshops in AI and multi-agent systems. His teaching record includes courses at ESSLLI (European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information), and EASSS (European Agent Systems Summer School), all of them on formal methods for multi-agent systems.

Prof. Wahied G. Ali Abdelaal, Dean of Egyptian Academy for Engineering & Advanced Technology (EAE&AT), Affiliated to Ministry of Military Production, Egypt(www.eaeat.edu.eg). Professor Marco Javier Suárez Barón received the MSc degree in Information management from The Colombian School of Engineering Julio Garavito in 2012; and Ph.D. Degree in strategic planning and technology management at UPAEP-Mexico in 2016. He worked in ECI University-Colombia and UPAEP Mexico. He is an associate professor at UPTC Colombia. His research focuses are Machine learning, AI, Deep learning. He has published more than 100 indexed papers and conference proceedings. Dr. Suarez Barón is a research associate at the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation in Colombia. Ally S. Nyamawe, is a lecturer from the department of computer science and engineering, at the University of Dodoma (UDOM), one of the prestigious universities in Tanzania. He holds a Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. Prior to joining UDOM, he has worked as a software developer and instructor with TechnoBrain and St. John’s University of Tanzania respectively. Dr. Mirsaeid Hosseini Shirvani received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. all in Computer Software Engineering Systems at Universities in Tehran, IRAN. He has been teaching miscellaneous computer courses in several universities in Mazandaran province in IRAN since 2001. He also published several papers in authentic journals. Currently, he is Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at IAU (Sari-Branch).
