Björn Lindman was chair professor in physical chemistry at Lund University, Sweden since 1978, now emeritus. He is currently visiting professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and wasguest professor at MidSweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden. For several yearshe was professorat Coimbra University, Portugal. His research interests are in the field of colloid science, including surfactant and polymer self-assembly, polymer-surfactant systems, polymer adsorption, amphiphilic polymers and biopolymers like DNA and cellulose. He consults and gives training courses for industry on formulations and is also a co-founder of spin-offs in this area. He is a fellow of the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences, the Swedish Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences and science academies abroad (Romania and Portugal). Björn Lindman has published over 650 papers in journals and books; these have been cited more than 25000 times, with an h-index of 87 (Web of Science) and 102 (Google Scholar). He has received the Overbeek Gold Medal of the European Colloid and Interface Society, and prestigious awards from US, China, Japan, India, UK, Finland and Sweden. He is a cofounder of the European Colloid and Interface Society and has been the president of this organization as well as the International Association of Colloid and Interface Scientists (IACIS). In 2015 he received the Life-time Achievement Award of IACIS. He is one of the authors of the textbook Surfactants and Polymers in Aqueous Solutions (2 editions and translated into Chinese and Russian) as well as of Surface Chemistry of Surfactants and Polymers (Wiley 2014).

Pekka Vallittu has earned his degrees in Dental Technology in 1988, Doctor of Dental Surgery and Doctor of Philosophy in 1994, received Adjunct Professorship in 1995 and specialized in prosthodontics and stomatognathic physiology in 2000 (EPA Recognized Prosthodontist). Presently, he is a Full Professorship and Chair of Biomaterials Science in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Turku, Finland and works as Dean of the Institute of Dentistry at the University of Turku and as the Director of Turku Clinical Biomaterials Centre. He holds Honorary Professorship at the University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam and Visiting Professorship at the King Saud University in Riayadh, Saudi Arabia. His predominating research activity on fiber-reinforced composites has lasted over 30 years since 1980´s. The first clinical applications of fiber-reinforced composites were found in clinical dentistry and thereafter in combination with bioactive component in bone surgical applications as non-metallic bioactive implants. Pekka Vallittu has over 630 ISI Web of Science Index publications. He has established two companies for getting developed composite materials clinical use in dentistry and bone surgery.

Professor Aibing Yu specialized in process metallurgy, obtaining BEng in 1982 and MEng in 1985 from North-eastern University, China, PhD in 1990 from University of Wollongong and DSc in 2007 from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is currently Pro Vice-Chancellor and President (Suzhou), Monash University, and Director of ARC Research Hub for Computational Particle Technology. He is a world-leading scientist in particle/powder technology and process engineering. He has authored/co-authored >1,000 publications (including >750 collected in the ISI Web of Science), delivered many invited plenary/keynote presentations at various international conferences, and graduated >40 postdoc fellows and >100 PhD students. He was elected to Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering in 2004, and Australian Academy of Science in 2011, and Foreign Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017.

Dr. Amar Mohanty is a Professor and an OAC Distinguished Research Chair in Sustainable Biomaterials. He is an international leader in the field of biomaterials with a focus in engineering new sustainable materials. Prof. Mohanty's research interests have focused on the bioeconomy related to bioplastics, biobased materials, and sustainable composites. He has more than 800 publications to his credit, including 413 peer-reviewed journal papers and 67patents awarded/applied. He has 37,497 citations of his research with h-index of 87 (Google Scholar). Prof Chul Park received his PhD from MIT in 1993 withhis PhD thesis topic on microcellular foaming of PS with CO2. He is Distinguished Professor of Microcellular Engineered Plastics at University of Toronto. He is also the NSERC Senior Industrial Research Chairin Multi-Functional Graphene-Based Polymer Nanocomposites and Foams. He has an international recognition in polymer foam area. He has published more than 1400 papers, including over 400 journal papers and four books with 75 Scopus H-index. Prof Park serves as Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Cellular Plastics. He has been inducted into 5 academies as an Academician Fellow. He is also a fellow of 5 other professional societies including Society of Plastics Engineers.

Prof. Bin Liu received her BS degree and Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University and National University of Singapore, respectively, before her postdoctoral training at University of California, Santa Barbara. She joined NUS in late 2005, where she is currently the Provost’s Chair Professor, Head of Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Vice President in Research and Technology. For her research focusing on organic nanomaterials for biomedical and energy applications, Prof. Liu has received many highly prestigious awards. She is the Fellow of Singapore Academy of Engineering, Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials, and the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Alessandro Gandini has been involved in research and teaching in several countries for some 60 years, specializing in Polymer Chemistry, Photochemistry and Surface/ Interface science. He has published extensively on these topics with some 480 contributions including books, monographs and articles, together with some 20 patents and participated in some 500 scientific conferences with some 150 invited or plenary lectures. His interest has progressively concentrated on the field of Polymers from Renewable Resources of which he was a pioneer with seminal work in the 1990s, becoming today an internationally recognized leader. Piero Baglioni is the chair of Physical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Florence and MIT affiliate. Yasuo Koide received his Ph.D. degree from Prof. Isamu Akasaki, Nobel laureate in 2014, at Nagoya University in 1988. His PhD work was MOVPE growth of AlxGa1-xN alloy and optical and electrical properties. He fabricated the original MOVPE apparatus with special reactor design, which provided success of the highest-quality GaN and AlxGa1-xN epitaxial layer using the low-temperature buffer layer technique, together with Prof. Hiroshi Amano, Nobel laureate in 2014 and one-year younger PhD student.AfterDr. Koide became an assistant professor at Nagoya University and an associate professor at Kyoto University,in 2002he moved to National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) for focusing research on diamond epilayer growth and optical and electronic device applications, Japan, and published more than 200 papers by demonstrating deep-UV photodetectors, metal-oxide and metal-Shcottkygate transistors, and micro-electrical and mechanical system devices. Now he isa director of Nanotechnology Platform Center, a lab. director of Amano-Koide Collaborative Research Center, a group leader of Next-Generation Semiconductor Group. He has more than 400 publications including technical articles, invited reviews, monographs, and books in semiconductor materials and devices. His research interest is diamond and III-nitrides hybrid electron devicesand their transport andsurface and interface physics.

Saad Khan is the INVISTA Professor & Director of Graduate Program in the Department of Chemical &Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University. Research in the Khan Group focuses on soft-solids: gels, colloids and associative networks. Of particular interest is the relationship between material microstructure, chemistry, and macroscopic properties using rheology as a probing tool. More recently the group has made forays to other areas such as crop protection for enhanced food security as well as multifunctional nanofibrous structures and aerogels. Khan has supervised over 55 PhD students and several postdocs, whose work has resulted in over 225publications (h index 67 and citations > 19000) and 16 patents. Khan has won several awards including being a Fellow of the Society of Rheology and RJR Reynolds Tobacco Award for Research, Teaching & Extension, the highest engineering award at NC State. Khan received his PhD from MIT.

Anil K. Bhowmick earned his M.Sc (1976), D.I.I.T (1977) and Ph.D (1980) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He did his post-doctoral research work at the Institute of Polymer Science, The University of Akron , Akron, Ohio, USA during 1981-1984. He joined IIT Kharagpur as an Assistant Professor in 1984, where he became full Professor in 1988. He was a visiting researcher at the London School of Polymer Technology in 1987 and Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan during 1991-1992. He was Head of the Rubber Technology Centre during 1990-91 and 2005-2007, and Dean of Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy during 2000-2003 at IIT Kharagpur. He was named a Professor of Eminence at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2009. He is currently the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. Academic & Research Achievements: Prof. Anil K. Bhowmick has made seminal contributions to polymer science and technology, especially in the area of nanocomposites, thermoplastic elastomers and electron beam processing in recent years. His highly cited work on development of novel rubber nanocomposites and new thermoplastic elastomers, and their structure-property relationship are notable. His travails on the use of electron beam processing of polymers have been immensely successful. In addition, his endeavors on the scientific understanding of failure and degradation of polymers, compatibilisation of polymer blends, rubber compounding and adhesion phenomenon have left indelible imprints. Many of these scientific investigations have resulted in new technology being practiced in polymer industry. Prof. Bhowmick has also contributed significantly to the following topics: mechanical properties of polymer blends and composites, development of new polymeric materials, high temperature vulcanization and rubber science and technology in general. He has more than 450 publications in these fields, 35 book chapters and seven co-edited books. He was also co-editor of the special issue of Polymer and Composite Characterization of the Journal of Macromolecular Science (USA). He holds 12 patents including 1 US and 1 German patents. He has guided 40 Ph.D, and many B.Tech & M.Tech students. Other contributions: He has developed facilities for microscopy, mechanical, tribological and thermal properties of polymers at IIT Kharagpur. He is currently developing a new institute, IIT Patna. He has been serving on the Boards of a few Research Institutes in India. Awards and Honours: He was the 2002 winner of the “Chemistry of Thermoplastic Elastomers” award and 1997 winner of the “George Stafford Whitby” award of the Rubber Division, American Chemical Society for innovative research, and 2001 K.M. Philip award of the All India Rubber Industries Association for outstanding contribution to the growth and development of rubber industries in India. He was also awarded NOCIL award 1991, JSPS award 1990, Commonwealth award 1990, MRF award 1989, 15th Khwarizmi International award for science and Stanton-Redcroft ITAS award 1989. He is on the Editorial Board of eight peer reviewed international journals of repute. He is also a Fellow of National Academy of Engineering, and W.B. Academy of Science and Technology.

Dr. Ramani Narayan, Ph.D. has been a director of NTIC since November 2004. He is Professor of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science at Michigan State University, E. Lansing, MI where he has 105 refereed publications in leading journals to his credit, 18 patents, edited three books and one expert dossier in the area of bio-based polymeric materials. His research encompasses design & engineering of sustainable, biobased products, biodegradable plastics and polymers, reactive extrusion polymerization and processing, studies in polymer biodegradation and composting. He is on the Board of Directors of ASTM International and the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI), North America. He serves on the Technical Advisory board of Tate & Lyle. Dr. Kinjal J. Shah is currently working as an Associate Professor in the College of Urban Construction, Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing, China. He completed his Ph.D. in the field of applied science from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan in 2015. He has started his research carrier in 2009 from Shah Schulman Center for Surface Science and Nanotechnology (SSCSSNT), DDU, India. During his last 10 years of research career, he has published more than 35 SCI papers and 2 books and 8 book chapters to International accredited journals. Prof. Thomas is an outstanding leader with sustained international acclaims for his work in Nanoscience, Polymer Science and Engineering, Polymer Nanocomposites, Elastomers, Polymer Blends, Interpenetrating Polymer Networks, Polymer Membranes, Green Composites and Nanocomposites, Nanomedicine and Green Nanotechnology. Vakhtang Barbakadze has his expertise in isolation and structure elucidation of a new series of plant polyethers, which are endowed with pharmacological properties as immunomodulatory, antioxidant, anti inflammatory, wound-healing and anti-cancer agents. Len Gelman, PhD, Dr. of Sciences (Habilitation)joined HuddersfieldUniversity as a Professor, Chair in Signal Processing/Condition Monitoring and Director of Centre for Efficiency and Performance Engineering,in 2017 from Cranfield University, where he worked as Professor and Chair in Vibro-Acoustical Monitoring since 2002. Len developed novel condition monitoring technologies for aircraft engines, gearboxes, bearings, turbines and centrifugal compressors. Dr. Fahrettin Ozturk is currently Executive Vice President at Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Ozturk received all his degrees in Mechanical Engineering. His undergraduate degree from Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey in 1992 (ranked first), M.Sc. from University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA in 1996, and Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA in 2002. Dr. Ozturk worked as a part-time contractor for General Electric Research Center in the USA for 3 years. He has performed consulting services and projects for Automotive and Aerospace Industries in Turkey since 2003. Dr. Ozturk worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Nigde Omer Halisdemir University (formerly Nigde University), and Khalifa University (formerly The Petroleum Institute (PI)) prior to Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc.. His primary research interests are in Sheet Metal Forming, Materials Processing, Materials Characterizations, Lightweight Materials, Thermoplastic Composite Materials, and Mechanically Sleeved CRA Pipes. He has published numerous Journal Papers, Book Chapters, Conference Proceedings, and writes columns.

Viktor Savov has completed his PhD from University of Forestry – Sofia, Bulgaria. He is the director of laboratory of Press Materials at Department of Mechanical Wood Technology at that university. He taught course of lectures and exercises in the discipline Technology of Materials from Wood Fibres. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of scientific journal Innovation in Woodworking Industry and Engineering Design (indexed in Web of Science).

Born in Prague in 1971, in 1996 he graduated from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague and at the same university he defended his PhD in 2002. In the same year he joined the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, where in 2014 he defended the DSc, a Doctor of Chemical Sciences, and in 2015 he became a senior scientist and head of the scientific department. During his studies he stayed at prestigious universities (University of Rostock, Germany, New University of Lisbon, Portugal, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, University of Newcastle, UK; Haifa Technion, Israel, University of Heidelberg, Germany. P. Izak dealing with separation of gases, vapors and liquids through non-porous membranes for 25 years. Dr. Chella Perumal Palanisamy is working (Since 2019) as Research Scientist at State Key Laboratory of Biobased Materials and Green Paper Making, School of Food Science and Engineering, Qilu University of Technology, Jinan, Shandong Province, Republic of China. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Zoology with Biotechnology (2007) from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India. In his academic career, he got several awards and honors; in 2011 he received University Rank for the M.Phil study in Alagappa University, Karaikudi, India, in 2014 he got the award of Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, India, in 2014 he received Type C2-Partial PhD studies scholarship from Hungarian Scholarship Board (HSB), Budapest, Hungary. Later, he received the SPER-Young Scientist Award at International Conference on Novel Approaches in Cancer Research and Therapy (NACRAT-2017) held on 27-28th June 2017 in Saveetha University, Chennai and also he have received the best Postdoctoral Research Fellow award in the department of Plant Sciences, University of the Free State, South Africa on January 2017. He received several research grants, in 2014, he got the research grant for the project entitled “In silico and in vitro analysis of bioactive compounds isolated from Cayratia trifolia (L.) against ovarian cancer cell lines” from Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India for 2 years. In same year he got the research project entitled “Isolation of bioactive compounds from Cayratia trifolia (L.) against ovarian cancer cell lines” for 10 months. Later, he received the research project entitled “Anti-ovarian cancer potential of bioactive compounds from Euclea crispa leaves extracts” from University of Free State, QwaQwa, South Africa for 3 years. In his research career, he published more than 46 research and review papers (h-index: 10, i10-index: 10) in international peer-reviewed journals, published more than 8 book chapters and applied 3 Indian patents for his research products. He delivered more than 12 invited talks in the international conferences. He is an Editor-in-Chief in “East African Scholars Journal of Agriculture and Life Sciences”, Associate editor in “International Journal of Medical and Health Research”, editorial board member in “Journal of Medicinal Herbs and Ethnomedicine” and reviewer in several international peer-reviewed journals. His research work is mainly focused on development of starch based nanofibrous scaffolds incorporated with biomaterials for biomedical applications.

Dr. Leon Chernin is a lecturer in Structural Engineering at the University of Dundee, UK. He was awarded a PhD degree by the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. Following that he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Heriot-Watt University, UK. Dr. Chernin’s scientific work focuses specifically on mechanical deterioration of plastics and fibre reinforced polymer composites caused by wear, abrasion and erosion. He has 34 publications, out of which 16 are in highly reputed international scientific journals. Dr. Chernin is serving as an editorial board member of Polymers (an MDPI journal), where he is leading a special issue on Sustainable Plastics and Polymer Composites.

Prof. Bradley has led one of the largest chemistry research groups in the UK for over 30 years with funding from across the research councils and a variety of commercial and translational concerns. He has published over 400 papers, has an H-factor of 60, filed >25 patents and spun-out five (still active) companies. In 1997 he founded the Combinatorial Centre of Excellence at the University of Southampton, was its director, raising funds to build and equip a Centre in Combinatorial Chemistry, while establishing a consortium of major pharmaceutical and life science companies to support the Centre. He was awarded a Chair in Combinatorial Chemistry in 1997 at the age of 34. In 2005, he took up his present position in Edinburgh. Wirongrong Tongdeesoontorn has completed herPhDfrom Chiang Mai University, Thailandand has been working as the lecturer in School of Agro-Industry at Mae FahLuang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand.She is the head of Innovative Food Packaging and Biomaterials research group.Her research field relates to the active and intelligent packaging, biodegradable and compostable packaging, edible films and coating, and fiber utilization from agricultural wastes. She has published more than 20 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as the reviewer of many journals.

Eran Lavy is an Associate Professor for Veterinary Medicine at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI). He received BSc. in agriculture (animal husbandry) HUJI at 1984, MSc. in pharmaceutical sciences HUJI at 1986 and his DVM degree HUJI at 1989. He was certified as specialist in clinical medicine of companion animals by the Israeli Veterinary Services at 1995 and as specialist in veterinary pharmacology by the Israeli Veterinary Services at 1997. He was certified as specialist Diplomate in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (Dip. ECVPT), by the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology at 1999. Since 1989 he is a faculty member at the HUJI. He used to work at the Hebrew University Teaching Hospital in the Internal Medicine Department with special interest in gastroenterology until 2018. His research interests are mainly in clinical pharmacology especially aspects related to controlled release drug delivery systems (CRDDS). He is teaching in several Veterinary Medicine courses. Professor Lavy supervised M.Sc., Ph.D. and final DVM thesis students, published over 70 scientific papers and hold 8 patents in the field of CRDDS. He is a member of several committees at the Veterinary Medicine School as well as at the Agriculture Faculty and several organizations around the world.

JánKruželák– obtained PhD degree in 2011 at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and currently works as an assoc. prof. at Institute of Natural and Synthetic Polymers at Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology STU in Bratislava. He is extensively experienced from the study of preparation and characterization of rubber compounds based on various elastomers filled with traditional fillers used in rubber industry as well as with magnetic active fillers and biopolymer fillers. His area of expertise is also research and development of vulcanization systems used for cross-linking of rubber matrices. He has been a member of the IRCO, an international organization bringing together representatives of rubber industry research associations and production organizations of each member country.

Dr. Debananda Mohapatra received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), Mumbai, India, in 2017. Soon after his Ph.D., he joined as Research Scientist (2017-2018) in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India. Goshtasp Cheraghian is a research associate at Braunschweig Pavement Engineering Centre (ISBS) at the Technische Universität Braunschweig since May 2018. As a young multidisciplinary scholar, he received numerous honors and awards. He has published over 40 papers in the leading worldwide journals, has presented over 30 articles at scientific and technical conferences, and holds seven patents. He serves as the editor/guest editor and reviewer of 48 scientific journals from Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, MDPI, ACS, ASME, and Taylor & Francis publications. His interest research subjects include polymer nanocomposites, characterization of bitumen, nanofluids, asphalt materials, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), asphaltene, and wax studies. His research focuses on polymer/nanocomposites in order to understand nanoparticles interactions at the nanoscale and rheological properties of them in complex fluids.

Chiraz Ajmi received her Engineering Diploma in Electrical engineering at the National engineering school of Monastir of Tunisia. She is a final year Phd student in the University polytechnic of Cartagena, Spain at the Department of technology of information and communications and National Superior school of engineering of Tunisia at the Laboratory Analysis, Design and Control of Systems. Her research interests include tasks related to image processing and classification of defects in the Xray images. This is based on computer vision tools and Deep learning newly technology. Zaini Ahmad has been researching in the field of structural impact and crashworthiness of metallic and composite materials for years in Malaysia and abroad. Computational solid mechanics is of his primary research interest. Other areas of expertises are impact mechanics, thin-walled structures and light-weight structures. As a professional engineer registered with Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), United Kingdom, involvement in consultation and industrial collaboration are parts of his interest and goals in disseminating the engineering knowledge publicly. Dr. Prabhat K. Agnihotri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Ropar. He joined IIT Ropar in 2013 as an Assistant professor. He has worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Micromechanics Department at University of Groningen, The Netherlands from 2011 - 2013. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2012. His research includes carbon nanotube based multiscale and hybrid composites, interface designing in composites, fracture mechanics, mechanics of soft materials, MD simulations, high strain rate deformation behavior of materials. He is coordinator of Mechanics of Advanced Materials Laboratory at IIT Ropar. He has supervised several PhD, Masters and UG students. He has more than 50 journal articles and 8 patents.

Dr. Syed Sohail Akhtar currently holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). His research areasare applied materials, manufacturing, and computational mechanics focusing on a mix of futuristic and present-day research that is of practical significance and has immediate relevance and impact in the industry. He has authored/co-authored more than 100 archival technical publications, includingmore than 90 ISI journal papers, published 02 books, and many book chapters. He also served as Co-PI on a KFUPM/MIT collaborative research project related to TBCs. Piyush K. Patel is currently working at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, India as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. He has done Ph.D. from I.I.T. Roorkee, India.
