About PSCM-2020

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the Global Summit on Polymer Science and Composite Materials, which will be held in Vienna, Austria on November 02-03, 2020.

The objective of PSCM-2020 is focused onSetting New Directions and Renewing Enthusiasm in Polymer Science Studies.Indeed, polymers are everywhere, even inside of the human body.Petrochemical plastics have gradually become an integral part of our daily life due to their increased applications in a wide range of the daily activities. However, their inappropriate usage along with the abuse of those materials in an increased range of applications comes with severe environmental consequences due to the littering in marine and fresh water compartments affecting the life cycles of the aquatic plants and living organisms. Thus, we are just at the beginning of cleaning up what has been done by the development of classical plastics. When the expansion of polymers was in its infancy the most crucial features were concentrated on the effect of macromolecular architecture, new monomer systems, polymerization mechanisms, and different polymerization techniques. Though, the knowledge and impetus for development of forthcoming advanced polymeric materials comes from identification of problems before they arise. This novel viewpoint focuses on prediction, evaluation and indication on potential complications arising from the use of advanced polymers. I may be therefore expected, that both ex ante investigations and ex post studies will be conducted in foreseeable future in order to define and minimize any potential failure of novel polymeric materials and composites in specific applications.

The conference has an overall goal in the field of polymer science and composite materials. It covers, among others, key topics related with novel synthetic approaches, structure–property relationships of polymers, characterization of polymers at the molecular level including sequence analysis of copolymers and decoding of polymeric materials via molecular labeling, Special emphasis will be given to biodegradable polymers and composite materials for environmental and medical applications.

You are cordially invited to attend an exciting scientific program comprising plenary and keynote lectures, oral presentations, multiple poster sessions and networking events.

The PSCM-2020 will be held in Vienna – the city known for interesting history and beautiful landmarks. The truth is that Vienna is much more interesting and complex than that.It is a romantically Imperial City offering cultural attractions as well as the world's top orchestras, being home to Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Johann Strauss. Moreover, the diversity of research facilities in Vienna form an important backbone for the exploration of cultural issues.

On behalf of the Scientific Organizing Committee and The Scientistt we are delighted to invite you to PSCM-2020 and we are looking forward to welcoming you to the city of Vienna!

Kind regards,

    Oral Presentation

Oral Presentation is an effective way to present your valuable research work to get recognized. Oral Presentations consist of Plenary, Keynote and a series of Invited Talks with specific time durations.

    Poster Presentation

A poster presentation is another potential channel to disseminate your research of a topic in a short and concise format. Posters offer the opportunity to engage with other conference attendees interested in the same subject and application as you.

    Workshop Presentation

Workshop provides a high-yield, more efficient and effective tool for discussion, problem solving and feedback about one’s scholarly work. Each workshop lasts for 1 hour intensive and interactive discussion about a topic.

    Listener

Participating in the conference only without neither presentation nor paper publication. Listener will get networking opportunities to exchange and gain new knowledge, while interacting with the intellectuals and academics in the field.

    Why Vienna, Austria ?

Vienna, with about two million inhabitants, is situated in the very heart of Europe. Due to its unique geographic location, Vienna has been the setting for many international events and has become a popular conference venue. Vienna hosts one of the United Nations headquarters and is home to a number of other international organizations. Today, Vienna offers historical palaces alongside modern shopping centers, traditional hotels, Austrian food as well as haute cuisine, typical Viennese coffee houses and luxury restaurants, outstanding opera and theatre performances, classical concerts and open-air festivals, antique shops next to elegant boutiques – all joined together in incomparable Viennese harmony.

Austria's climate is generally moderate and mild and reliably follows the four distinct seasons. Avera...Read More
