Welcome to the Global Summit on Cell Science and Molecular Biology!
On behalf of The Scientistt, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend the Global Summit on Cell Science and Molecular Biology (GSCSMB-2020)to be held on September 04-05, 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Recent advances in our fight against major human diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases, immunological disorders, and various congenital disorders, just to name a few, owe greatly to the knowledge obtained from basic cell and molecular biology research, which was then used to elucidate the mechanisms of these diseases. Animal studies can then be performed to test these disease mechanisms, and once confirmed, can be followed by carefully planned clinical trials conducted by physician-scientists.
These generally established steps are observed all over the world in studying human diseases. The progress made in cell and molecular biology in every corner of the world today is simply astonishing. Although the information on new discoveries travels fast in the age of the internet, it is still at scientific meetings where face-to-face interactions occur that allow for much deeper discussions and exchange of unpublished information. It is often from these personal interactions that novel hypotheses and new treatment strategies are conceived.
The GSCSMB-2020 can provide such a forum for basic science investigators, clinicians, biomedical engineers, technologists, and those involved in business and research funding from different countries, allowing one to learn about the cutting edge advances in cell and molecular biology and also to form new networks that could lead to exciting global collaborations.
New scientific knowledge depends on new technology. For this reason, it is important for this conference to have technologists who can introduce various state-of-the-art methods for studying the workings of life and disease. The technologist in turn may see what kinds of new techniques and instrumentations may be required to advance cell and molecular biology in the future. The participation of clinicians, clinical science investigators and scientists working in other fields of natural sciences is also critical for the success of the conference because it is difficult to maintain a basic science research laboratory without justifying how the knowledge of its research contributes towards the betterment of human life, may it be related to curing diseases, improving the global environment, securing sufficient food and resources, or even exploring the possibility of space travel and habitation on the moon and other planets.
If you’re dreaming about your next trip to Europe, come and discover Lisbon, a historical city full of stories to tell, where the sun shines 290 days a year and the temperature rarely drops below 15oC. A city where you feel safe wandering around day or night, where the cuisine is dedicated to creating over a thousand ways to cook the beloved bacalhau (salted cod), and where you’ll find hotels and restaurants to suit every taste, budget and requirement. Discover Lisbon, a city full of authenticity where old customs and ancient history intermix with cultural entertainment and hi-tech innovation. Lisbon is ageless, but it loves company, as you’ll find out if you meet someone and ask them to explain, with lots of gestures and repetition, where the best place is to listen to Fado. After all, Lisbon is famous for its hospitality and the family-like way it welcomes visitors.
Again, we would encourage all those involved in cell and molecular biology research to participate in GSCSMB-2020 in Lisbon, Portugal where the “Age of Discovery” was initiated some 600 years ago.
Sincerely,

Oral Presentation is an effective way to present your valuable research work to get recognized. Oral Presentations consist of Plenary, Keynote and a series of Invited Talks with specific time durations.
A poster presentation is another potential channel to disseminate your research of a topic in a short and concise format. Posters offer the opportunity to engage with other conference attendees interested in the same subject and application as you.
Workshop provides a high-yield, more efficient and effective tool for discussion, problem solving and feedback about one’s scholarly work. Each workshop lasts for 1 hour intensive and interactive discussion about a topic.
Participating in the conference only without neither presentation nor paper publication. Listener will get networking opportunities to exchange and gain new knowledge, while interacting with the intellectuals and academics in the field.
