Marlan O. Scully (Texas A&M and Princeton) is a laser physics pioneer. His work includes the first quantum theory of the laser with Lamb, the first demonstrations of lasing without inversion, the first demonstration of ultraslow light in hot gases, and the use of quantum coherence to detect anthrax in real time. Furthermore Scully's work on quantum coherence and correlation effects has shed new light on the foundations of quantum mechanics, e.g., the quantum eraser.He has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Academia Europaea, and Max Planck Society; has numerous awards including the APS Schawlow prize, OSA Townes Award, IEEE Quantum Electronics Award, Franklin Institute's Elliott Cresson Medal, OSA Lomb Medal, and Humboldt Senior Faculty Prize. More recently he was named Harvard Loeb Lecturer, received an honorary doctorate from University of Ulm, and was awarded the OSA's DPG Hebert Walther Award.

Jian Wang received the Ph.D. degree in physical electronics from Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2008. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of Southern California, USA, from 2009 to 2011. He is currently a professor at Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China.He is the vice director of Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He was elected as an OPTICA Fellowin 2020 and SPIE Fellow in 2022. He leads the Multi-Dimensional Photonics Laboratory (MDPL). His research interests include optical communications, optical signal processing, silicon photonics, photonic integration, orbital angular momentum, and structured light. He has published over 240 refereed journal papers (Science, Science Advances, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Light: Science & Applications, Physical Review Letters, Optica, Laser & Photonics Reviews, ACS Photonics, Nanoscale, etc) and over 150 conference papers (OFC, ECOC, CLEO, etc). He has also given more than 110 tutorial/keynote/invited talks in international conferences including the invited talk at OFC2014 and tutorial talk at OFC2016.He is also a frequent reviewer of Nature Photonics and Nature Communications.

Eric Wei-Guang Diau started his research in 2001 in Department of Applied Chemistry, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan. His current research is focusing on the developments of novel lead-free perovskites, perovskite nanocrystals and other functional materials for applications in photovoltaics, photocatalysis, light emitting diode, display, and so on. He received “Sun Yat Sen Academic Award” in 2014, “MOST Outstanding Research Award” in 2018 and 2022, “17 th Yu-Ziang Science Paper Award” in 2019 and “MOE 65 th Academic Award” in 2021. He has published over 225 peer-reviewed SCI papers with H-index 68. He is currently Distinguished Professor at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU).

Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology– China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010, 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB.ProfessorMorais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered more than 150 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With more than 450 published papers in peer reviewed journals, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top 1% scientists, such as 2020-Stanford and 2022-Research.com.

Dr. Jieshan Qiu is Cheung-Kong Distinguished Professor of Carbon Science and Chemical Engineering, and Dean of Chemical Engineering College at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), China. He is an internationally recognized research and thought leader in chemical engineering and carbon science. His research encompasses both fundamental and applied aspects of carbon materials and science, with a focus on the methodologies of producing carbon materials for energy storage and conversion, catalysis, and environment protection. He has published 800+ papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Mater., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Energy Environ. Long time he was a leader of gas sensor group and manager of various national and international scientific and engineering projects carried out in the Laboratory of Micro- and Optoelectronics, Technical University of Moldova, Chisinau, Moldova. 2007-2008 years he was an invited scientist in Korea Institute of Energy Research (Daejeon).After which, until 2017, Dr. G. Korotcenkovwas a research professor inthe School of Materials Science and Engineering at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in Korea.Currently, G. Korotcenkov is a chief scientific researcher at Moldova State University, Chisinau, Moldova.His present scientific interests starting from 1995 year include material sciences, focusing on metal oxide film deposition and characterization, surface science, thermoelectric conversion, and physical and chemical sensors. G. Korotcenkov is the author or editor of 45books and special issues, including 11 volumes “Chemical Sensors” series published by Momentum Press, 15 volumes “Chemical Sensors” series published by Harbin Institute of Technology Press, China,3 volumes “Porous Silicon: From Formation to Application” issue published by CRC Press,2 volumes“Handbook of Gas Sensor Materials” published by Springer, and 3 volumes “Handbook of Humidity Measurements” published by CRC Press.At present he is a series editor of “Metal Oxides” book series which is published by Elsevier. Richard Alexander Norte is currently a faculty member at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. His lab focuses on novel techniques for designing, fabricating and measuring world-class nanotechnologies which meet the stringent requirements for quantum optics and mechanics. Richard’s state-of-the-art microchip platforms have opened new avenues to explore novel industrial applications and fundamental science. Richard Norte holds a double BSc degree in Physics and Mathematics from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Physics from Caltech. He has an early background in the general relativity theory of black holes, developed during his work at Caltech’s Physics department. In 2009, he began working on experimental realization of nanoscale optomechanics uncover the boundaries of quantum mechanics on a mesoscopic scale. Since coming to the Netherlands to work at the TU Delft, his work has been featured in Nature, Nature Photonics, Science, Physical Review Letters and on the cover of Optica, Advanced Materials and Scientific American. In 2021, Richard was awarded one of the largest personal grants in Europe -- 2.1 million euros via the prestigious ERC Starting Grant to develop next-generation optomechanical nanotechnology. Dr. Ruiqiang Guo is a professor at Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology. He received hisB.S. in from Jilin University in Materials Science and Engineering in 2008, his M.S. in Materials Sciencefrom Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2011 and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2015. After that, he worked as a postdoc at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, California Institute of Technology, and University of Pittsburgh. His main research interest is in nanoscale heat transfer and energy conversion, with special focus on the fundamental understanding of transport and interaction processes of principle energy carriers,as well as the design and engineering of materials for thermal management, electronics and clean energy.

Dr. Le Thi Mai Hoa is currently a Head of Laboratory for Nanomaterials and Application at Institute for Nanotechnology, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). Dr. Le Thi Mai Hoa is an expert in synthesis and thermal, structural, physico-chemical properties of nanomaterials, functional materials, peptide-nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes/ graphen-magnetic hybrid materials and their applications in the fields as membrane, oil/ water separation, water treatment, supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries, biomedicine. Dr. Le Thi Mai Hoa received her Bachelor degree (1996) and Master’s degree (2001) from Ha Noi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam) in Engineering Physics. A.G. Bracamonte studied in Faculty of Chemical Sciences at National University of Cordoba (UNC) Argentine; where he obtained his Bachellor in Chemistry and PhD in Chemical Sciences. Then, it was associated as Postdoctoral Researcher in the Département de Chimie and Centre d’Optique, Photonique et Laser (COPL) with Professor Denis Boudreau, Québec, Canada within developments of high sensitive Nano-Optical approaches. Moreover, he holds a second Postdoctoral Research position within Supramolecular Dynamics at University of Victoria, Victoria in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada with Professor Cornelia Bohne. In similar manner, it was visited to Professor Burkhard König Group from the Institut fur Organische Chemie, Universitat Regensburg, Regensburg, Germany, where it was acquired knowledge within Organized systems such as Hybrids vesicles and micelles. In addition, he holds a Postdoctoral Researcher position at University of Akron, Institute of Polymer Science and Engineering; and NASA Astrobiology Institute, Ohio, United States with Professor Nita Sahai. In this opportunity it was studied about potential proto-cells and synthetic Biology approaches. Actually, he is Researcher at Faculty of Chemical Sciences, UNC associated with the National Research Council of Argentina (CONICET) and Assistant Professor at UNC as well. In this context, he began his own recent Research Group in collaboration with other International Researchers in different fields with particular interest within Nanophotonics, Biophotonics and Nanomedicine; where Nanotechnology and Life Sciences are in close contact.

Andrea G. Martinez-Lopez was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She received the B.S. degree in physics engineering from Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM), Mexico City, Mexico, in 2001, the M.Sc. degree from the Center of Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico City, Mexico, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Mexico City, Mexico, in 2009. From 1996 to 2001, she was with the Laboratory of Photolithography from the Center of Applied Sciences and Technologic Development, UNAM, where she was involved in the development of the phase masks for a stellar coronagraph and fabrication of magnetoresistive sensors for microwaves and RF. From 2003 to 2004, she was with the Laboratory of Thin Films and Vacuum of the Astronomy Institute, UNAM. From 2011 to 2014 she was Director of the Micro and Nanotechnology Research Center (MICRONA) at University of Veracruz. At the present time she is researcher at the University of Veracruz and she is the head of the Microfabrication and Design of Advanced Devices Laboratory (LaMDDA). Her current research interests include development of solution-processed electron devices, as well as development of emerging technologies.

Dr. Mao received his PhD (Physical Chemistry) at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. He then worked aspostdoc in the labs of Profs. Drs. Ted and Valina Dawson at the Institute for Cell Engineering, Department of Neurology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (JHSOM) during 2010-2016. After postdoctoral fellowship, he worked as Assistant Professor in 2017 and became Associate Professor in 2021 at JHSOM. He has published more than 50 research articles in many high-impact journals (Science, Nature, Nature Medicine, PNAS, Nature Comm, Nano Today) focusing on pathogenic protein cell-to-cell spreading.
