Andrei A. Bunaciu, graduated the Politehnica University of Bucharest in 1979. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemistry, Department of Analytical Chemistry in the field of ion-selective membrane electrodes applied in pharmaceutical analysis in 1990. After several years as Senior Researcher in the Institute of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Research and Romanian Intelligence Service, he was also Senior Researcher in Vibrational Spectroscopy Department at SCIENT - Research Center for Instrumental Analysis, Bucharest. Now he is the C.E.O. of AAB_IR research company, www.aab-ir.ro. His research interests concern molecular recognition of pharmaceutical and biological compounds, using infrared spectroscopy techniques. He is the author/co-author of about 92 publications in medical and pharmaceutical analysis, using different analytical techniques. Dr. Frank Gupton is a professor at virginia commonwealth university and holds joint appointments in the Departments of Chemistry and the Department of Chemical and Life Science Engineering. He is the Floyd D. Gottwald Chair of Pharmaceutical Engineering and also serves as Department Chair of the Chemical and Life Science Engineering Department. His thirty-year industrial career centered on the development and commercialization of chemical processes for pharmaceutical applications. Dr. Gupton’s research group is currently focused on the development of continuous processing technology to facilitate the discovery, development and commercialization of drug products. Karol Bruzik received his BSc degree (1972) from the Technical University of Lodz, Poland, and his PhD (1980) and DSc (1987) degrees from Polish Academy of Sciences. After postdoctoral work at The Ohio State University (1981-83 and 1990-93) he joined the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at the University of Illinois at Chicago as Assistant Professor, and is now Professor and Associate Head for Curriculum. He is an author of more than 100 peer review publications in the area of organic and bioorganic chemistry, enzyme mechanisms, phosphoinositide signaling and allosteric modulators of ligand-gated ion channels, with emphasis on GABAA receptors.

Prof. Shlomo Yitzchaik received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, in 1991. Between 1992-1995 he did his post-doc at Northwestern University - USA, in the lab of Prof. Tobin J. Marks. In 1996 he joined the institute of chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Since 2006 he is a Professor of Chemistry at the Hebrew University. Since 2020 he is the head of the Institute of Chemistry.His major research interests (https://yitzchaik.huji.ac.il/) are biosensors and surface chemistry; he developed developed a modular method to link molecular transducers to various surfaces achieving highly selective and sensitive biosensing devices detecting ions, neurotransmitters, biomolecules, and neuronal activity. More specifically, biosensors for enzymatic activities including kinases and neuraminidases are screened for early diagnosis of lung cancer and autoimmune diseases. Prof. Yitzchaik won the outstanding young scientist prize from the Israeli Chemical Society, the Richard-Willstätteraward from the German Chemical Society, the Applied Materials Research Excellence Prize from the Israel Vacuum Society, the Kaye Innovation award at the Hebrew University, The Braun-Roger-Siegel prize by the Israel Science Foundation,The John van Geuns award by the University of Amsterdam. Currently,he holds the Binjamin H. Birstein Chair in Chemistry.He published more than 140 papers in peer-reviewed journals and holds about 20 patents mostly in the field of biomedical sensors.

Dr. Ioannidis is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He studied medicine in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and graduated at 2005. He received his MSC in “Medical Research Methodology” in 2008 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in “Surgery of Liver, Biliary Tree and Pancreas” from the Democritus University of Thrace in 2016. He received his PhD degree in 2014 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as valedictorian for his thesis “The effect of combined administration of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in ulcerative colitis. Experimental study in rats.” He is a General Surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic surgery and surgical oncology and also in surgical infections, acute care surgery, nutrition and ERAS and vascular access. He has received fellowships for EAES, ESSO, EPC, ESCP and ACS and has published more than 180 articles with more than 3000 citations and an H-index of 28.

Prof. Hanna Romanowicz, During the years 2003-2005, I participated in a training session, organised at the International Centre of Inherited Cancers in Szczecin, supervised by Prof. Jan Lubiński. In the course of the training, I learned in detail the organisation of Outpatient Oncological Genetic Clinics, carried out by a team of Prof. Jam Lubiński. That training helped me organise and open the Outpatient Oncological Genetic Clinic at the Institute-Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital in Lodz, which I then conductedduring the years 2004-2007 and which was met with great interest and appreciation of patients and physicians. On 4/5 December 2015, I participated in an educational meeting: “Learning of tumour biology as the basis for optimisation of diagnostic-therapeutic management”, held in Warsaw. As a pathologist, I was particularly interested in the aspect of HER2 receptor status. In cases with a borderline status of the HER2 receptor, an evaluation by hybridisation in situ is recommended (e.g., FISH, CISH). I implemented the CISH method at the Department of Clinical Pathomorphology of theInstitute-Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital, therefore, the above-mentioned meeting was a valuable exchange of experiences with other centres, regarding HER2 evaluation.On 8th June 2016, I participated in the conference: “Biobanks: a challenge in the times of Big Data” in Warsaw. It was an international conference, dedicated to the issue of biobanks as an innovative tool for biomedicine development. My participation in that conference extended my knowledge of the legal regulations and recommendation, concerning the use of data by biobanks. Clelia Dallanoce has received her Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in 1990 and the Master's degree in Pharmacy in 1995 from the University of Milan. After working in Pierrel SPA and in Marion Merrel Dow, in 1996 she has joined the University of Milan becoming assistant professor of Medicinal Chemistry. Since 2018, she is associate professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences where she coordinates the scientific activities of the IAMC Group (Innovative Approaches in Medicinal Chemistry Group). During the academic career her research lines have focused on the design and synthesis of muscarinic orthosteric and dualsteric molecules, and nicotinic compounds for studying ligand-receptor interactions and activation. Recently she has also directed her research to stable and unstable isotope-labeled ligands for drug discovery and development. She has more than seventy-five papers cited over 1500 times, and her publication H-index is 21. She is co-inventor of 5 patents.

Francesca Gado has received her master degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in 2014 at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Pisa. She completed the PhD at the University of Pisa in 2018 and worked in the same group until the end of 2021. In 2022 she started a new position at the University of Milan as Junior Research Scientist. During the years spent at the University of Pisa her research focused on the synthesis and development of modulators of the cannabinoid receptors more specifically on allosteric and dualsteric ligands. At the University of Milan she started working on the extraction processes of natural matrices, their fractionation and biological evaluation on different cell models. She presented her work in national and international conferences as posters or as oral communications. She has 30 papers with a publication h-index of 10

Laura Fumagalli is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Milan, Italy. She received her Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Science at university of Milan in 2004 defending a thesis regarding “ Design, Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of ligands targeting alpha-1 adrenergic receptor subtypes. Her research interests focus on medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Her approach to the medicinal chemistry is based on the traditional cycle “design-synthesis-test-QSAR analysis The chemical biology interest started when she joined as visiting scientist the Professor Tawfik’s group at the Weizmann Institute of Sciences, Israel, in 2014. Her motto in chemical biology is “develop chemistry to understand biology”. Moreover she has discovered a new and promising antimicrobial agent which has been patented by the University of Milan. Beside these main interests she takes up the challenge of resolving and isolating enantiomers of bioactive molecules developing feasible methods. She strongly believes in a sustainable development so she is motivated in developing alternative synthetic methods in order to globally minimize the environmental impact.

Dr. Yang-Soo Kim is a seasoned Orthopaedic Surgeon with a career spanning more than three decades. His academic journey began at the Catholic University College of Medicine, where he earned his M.D. Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Orthopaedic Surgery. Following this, he undertook clinical fellowships at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University, specializing in shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine. Professionally, he has advanced through the academic ranks at the Catholic University of Korea, starting as an instructor in 2003, and now serving as a Professor at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital since 2014. His combined expertise in clinical practice and academia distinguishes him as a leading authority in Orthopaedics.

With a background in Physics and a Ph.D. in Medicine, I serve as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic University of Korea, with a specific focus on shoulder surgery. I bring a distinct analytical approach to my clinical practice, where the principles of physics enrich my understanding of the complex biomechanics of the shoulder. As a Clinical Fellow, my commitment extends beyond surgical procedures to include extensive research, patient care, AI, and the continuous pursuit of advancing my knowledge in the orthopaedic field.

Dr. Maninder Singh is currently working as Brain Pool invited Scientist at Global AI Drug Discovery Center, Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea, where the research projects of their group use AI and CADD methods including modeling of machine learning and deep learning prediction models, virtual screening, molecular modeling, docking, MD simulations. Earlier he did his B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, India and M.Sc. in Marine Biotechnology from Goa University, Goa, India. In M.Sc, he worked on Bioremediation of heavy metals. He joined CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow, India for his P.hD, where he learnt CADD and AI methods. He was also involved in the mentoring of participants enrolled in the certificate course in “Computational Approaches to Drug Design and Development”, CSIR-CDRI Skill Development Program, Skill India Initiative, Govt. of India. In later years, he worked with research groups of CSJM University, Kanpur and NIPGR, New Delhi, in projects related to structural biology and Genome-wide studies. In his ongoing learning process, he learnt to process the blood and tissue samples of cancer patients for FISH and Karyotyping in Oncquest Laboratories, New Delhi (BCIL-BITP program) and plant tissue culture in CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, India. Among the awards and fellowships, he received fellowships from DBT, India for his M.Sc, BCIL-BITP and Ph.D program, CDRI-Incentive award for research excellence, Brain Pool fellowship (NRF, South Korea). Apart from that, he likes poetry, drawing, hiking, rock climbing, badminton. His artwork “SARS-CoV2 - An Interactive Infection” is recognized in IBAB Sci-Art 2020, India. Dr. Anju Goyal is currently working as Professor & Head in Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab, India. She received her B.Pharmacy degree from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 2002. She has completed her M.Pharmacy and Ph.D. Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Guru Jambheshwar University of Sciences & Technology, Hisar, Haryana, in 2004 and 2012 respectively. In 2004, she joined the Department of Pharmacy, Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Memorial College of Pharmacy, Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth, Sirsa, Haryana as a Lecturer, and joined Rajendra Institute of Technology & Sciences, Sirsa, Hryana in 2005 as lecturer. Since July 2009, she has been with the Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Rajpura, where she was an Assistant Professor, became an Associate Professor in 2011, and a Professor in 2015. Her current research interests include Synthesis and Derivatisation of Heterocyclic Compounds to get final Nitric Oxide Donors , Ananytical Method Validation and Derivatisation of Natural Compounds and their Formulations.y.
