Visa Information
Effective November 8, 2021, all international travelers must show
proof of full vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test prior to boarding their
flight. Those traveling by land do not need to provide a negative test. For
purposes of entry into the United States, vaccines accepted will include FDA
approved or authorized and WHO Emergency Use Listing vaccines. Existing visa
policies remain in place. Please check back regularly for the latest
information.
Depending on the issuer of your passport, a visa may be required
for entry into the United States. A visa allows you to travel to a port of
entry, an airport, land border crossing, or sea port, and request permission of
the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
inspector to enter the United States. A U.S. consular officer will issue the
visitor’s visa after determining that the applicant is eligible under a
specific visa classification.
