Professor Wong is currently Advisor (Environmental Science), The Education University of Hong Kong; and Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Geochemistry and Health (Springer Nature). He served as the Coordinator of Central and North-East Asia of the project “Regionally based assessment of Persistent Toxic Substances”, and as a Panel Member (of three experts) of another project “Chemicals Management Issues of developing countries and countries with economies in transition”, both sponsored by UNEP/GEF, during 2001-2003, and 2010-2012, respectively. His research areas included “Environmental toxicology”; “Ecological restoration of toxic sites”; and “Recycling of organic wastes, with a focus on upgrading food waste for fish culture”. Among the “Top 1,173 Most-Cited Scientists” in the Environmental Science field (Stanford University, 2018), based on publications spanning 23 years (1996–2018, based on Scopus: total citation, H-index, Hm-index, etc.), Professor Wong is ranked 24th and is also listed as the top Chinese environmental scientist in the world. According to the List of World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University, 2020), Professor Wong is ranked No. 6 (career-long), under Environmental Sciences in the world (Total citations: Google 55,989, Scopus 36,862; h-index: Google 121, Scopus 97). In addition to his PhD (Durham) Degree, he was awarded two higher Doctoral Degrees: DSc (Durham), and DSc (Strathclyde) in 1992 and 2004, respectively. He was awarded the Croucher Senior Fellow (Croucher Foundation of Hong Kong) in 1997; the Royal Society Visiting Fellow (Royal Society, UK) in 2000; Emeritus Professor of Biology, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2013; Chang Jiang Chair Professor of Environmental Science (Ministry of Education of China) in 2014, the Milton Gordon Award for Excellence in Phytoremediation (International Phytotechnology Society) in 2016; Fellow of the Society of Environmental Geochemistry and Health (SEGH) in 2018; and Silver Medal (for Upgrading Food Waste as Fish Feeds) of the International Inventions (Geneva) in 2019.

Dr. Patricia Glibert is a Professor at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), Horn Point Laboratory. She received her B.A. from Skidmore College, M.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of New Hampshire, and Ph.D. in Organismal and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University. She was a Postdoctoral Scholar and an Assistant Scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution prior to moving to Maryland in 1986. Dr. Glibert is an oceanographer whose work has centered around questions related to nutrient dynamics and algae. Her current work is focused on the linkages between nutrient over-enrichment and harmful algal blooms (HABs). Dr. Glibert is active in several national and international efforts on HABs to increase our understanding between eutrophication and HABs. From 2006-2012 she co-chaired the U.S. National HAB committee. She also co-chaired an international working group on land-based nutrient pollution and HABs, and she chaired the core research program on eutrophication in the Global Ecology and Oceanography Harmful Algal Blooms Program. She is current President-Elect of the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO). Dr. Glibert received an honorary doctorate for her work on algae from Linnaeus, Sweden, in 2011, and she has been named one of China’s 1000 Talents and has taught at Zhejiang University, China. She was named one of the top 25 women professors in Maryland. She is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Sustaining Fellow of the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography.

Author of several papers and books in the field of hydraulics, reviewer and editor of several international journals, his main research topics are related to maritime, river and environmental hydraulics, with particular regard to wave mechanics, sea currents, erosion processes and problems of the diffusion of pollutants in water bodies

Dr. Yantao Li is an Associate Professor at Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology, the University System of Maryland. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Nanjing University and the University of Hong Kong, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Scientist and an Assistant Research Professor at Arizona State University prior to moving to Maryland in 2012. Dr. Li’s research aims to understand the biology and engineering principles of carbon assimilation and lipid biosynthesis in microalgae, and to address greenhouse gas emission and climate change issues through convergence engineering approaches. He is on the editorial board of several high-level journals in the field of environmental science, and serves as an external reviewer or panelist for domestic and international government agencies, including German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Government of Ireland, the Israeli Ministry of Science, and the US National Science Foundation. He is a contributing author of the US Department of Energy 2010 National Algae Biofuel Technology Roadmap, a board member of the Hopkins Club for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NGO), and serves on the advisory board of several biotechnology companies.

Mohamed A. Barakat is currently a Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Faculty of Meteorology and Environment, King Abdulaziz University (KAU, Saudi Arabia) since 2010. Also he is a Professor of Metallurgy and Environmental Sciences at Central Metallurgical R&D Institute (CMRDI, Egypt). Professor Barakat has obtained his PhD in (1995) from Faculty of Sciences, Cairo University, Egypt. His further post-graduate studies were carried out at University of Akita, Japan (1995-1997), University of Delaware, USA (2000, 2003-2004), University of Wuppertal, Germany (2007). Professor Barakat is highly qualified in the field of Industrial Waste Management and Pollution Control, besides Catalysis and Nanotechnology. Experience includes academic research and teaching works in Japan, Germany, the United States, and Saudi Arabia, as well as initiating and leading industrial research projects in Egypt, and jointly with the United States of America. He has published more than 140 papers in ISI Journals, two US-Patents, and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. He was awarded many awards such as; Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prize for Environmental Management in Islamic World- in conjunction with ISESCO, Rabat, Morocco 2019, Prestigious Prize of Creatives, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (2018), Scientific Publications awards, KAU, Saudi Arabia (2011-2016), Award of the Environmental Researches, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt (2003& 2013), King Hassan II Prize for Environment, Morocco (2008). He supervised more than 20 M.Sc. and Ph.D. Theses, and established a new Laboratory for “Advanced Technologies for Industrial Wastes Treatment” in Department of Environmental Sciences, KAU.

Prof. Benny Chefetz is an Environmental Chemist. His main research scope is to enhance knowledge and understanding of the fate and interactions of organic pollutants such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, EDCs and other anthropogenic compounds in soil and water and the agro-environment. Primary focal areas are: the fate of pharmaceuticals and EDCs originating from reclaimed wastewater in agricultural ecosystems; the effects of wastewater irrigation on the transport and mobility of pesticides in soils; the role of plant cuticular matter as natural sorbent for organic pollutants; and plant materials as a matrix for fabrication of metallic ions to nanoparticles. Prof. Chefetz has joined the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a faculty member in 2001. The Chefetz’s research group is based in Rehovot at the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment. Prof. Chefetz served as the Head of the Department of Soil and Water Sciences, was the Vice Dean for Research, and is the Director of The Hebrew University Center of Excellence in Agriculture and Environmental Health. Since 2017 he is the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment. Prof. Benny Chefetz served as a member at the Editorial Board of Geoderma and Environmental Science and Health, Part A. He was an Associate Editor and member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Environmental Quality and a member at the Editorial Advisory Board for Environmental Science & Technology.

Associate professor in environmental hydrology and water resources management at the University of Basilicata, PhD in Environmental Monitoring. Winner of Norbert Gerbier-MUMM International Award 2010 by the World Meteorological Organization for the paper “Monitoring daily evapotranspiration at a regionalscale from Landsat-TM and ETM+ data: application to the Basilicata Region”, published on Journal of Hydrology in the 2008. He collaborated with Prof. Vijay P. Singh, Louisiana State University for research regarding the transport of pollutants intosurface waters, spending some time at the LSU. Working with Prof. UpmanuLall, of the Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering, Columbia University, NYC for the development of climate statistical downscaling models. Working with Prof. Vicente Caselles of the Departmentof Thermodynamics, University of Valencia on the development ofmodels to estimate evapotranspiration at a regional scale.

Nyuk Ling is currently an Associate Professor in the faculty of Science and Marine Environment at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. After returning from Imperial College London in 2012, Nyuk Ling served as a senior lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. She has taught more than 90 credit hours and the knowledge learned in the field of environment metabolomics has been developed by her in a research project involving researchers from Denmark, Thailand, China, Germany and also Malaysian researchers who are her backbone in 14 national and international grants. Her scientific findings have also received national and international recognition, among which 25 awards have been received such as (SIIF, ITEX, CREATOR, and MPI). Nyuk Ling has also been appointed as a technology professional by the MBOT association, visiting professor at Henan Agriculture University China, guest speaker in several international conferences, conference evaluation panel and also involved as guest editor for 4 journals.

Wei Zhang, Associate professor, associate dean, an outstanding young talent at Institute of Environmental Research at Greater Bay, Guangzhou University, China. My research interests focus on ecological toxicology, toxic effects and regulatory mechanisms study of environmental pollutants, especially arsenic. I have hosted 13 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Outstanding Youth Fund of Guangdong Province. I was awarded the “Chinese Academy of Sciences Dean-Excellence Award” and “Outstanding Doctoral Candidate of the Chinese Academy of Sciences” in 2012, the title of “Pearl River Science and Technology New Star” in Guangzhou in 2017, and the "Guangzhou University 100-Talents Project of Outstanding Young Talents" in 2018, and the “outstanding Youth Fund of Guangdong Province” in 2021. I have published 50 research papers (33 first authors/corresponding authors) in mainstream journals such as Environmental Science & Technology, Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology, and Journal of Hazardous Materials. The research results were featured by VerticalNews, a professional media in the United States that introduces new scientific insights, reported by the Chinese Journal of Science and technology, and republished by science.net and other scientific media, causing certain social repercussions. Professor Alina Zajadacz is a geographer, lecturer at the Chair of Tourism and Recreation, Faculty of Geographic and Geological Sciences, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań/Poland. Her research interests focus on tourist potential of towns and cities as well as on accessible tourism. She completed geographical studies with a specialization in the field of environmental shaping and protection in 1996. She defended a doctoral thesis entitled Tourist potential of cities on the example of selected cities of the Western Sudetes in 2001 and obtained the title of habilitated doctor in 2013 on the basis of the dissertation Tourism of the deaf - a geographical approach. She also completed her studies in Human Resource Management (2016) and Tourism and Travel Management course (The University of Queensland, Australia, 2019). She is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including books: Tourist potential of towns based on the example of some selected towns of the Western Sudeten (2004), Leisure pursuits, tourism and recreation of deaf people in Poland: an outline (2010), Tourism of deaf people: a geographical approach (2012), Sensory gardens as universal places of recreation adapted to the needs of the blind in the context of the human-environment relationship (2020) and papers, e.g.: Sources of tourist information used by Deaf people. Case study: the Polish Deaf community (2014), Accessibility of tourism space from a geographical perspective (2014), Evolution of models of disability as a basis for further policy changes in accessible tourism (2015). She managed projects aimed at improving the accessibility of the tourism supply for people with disabilities, such as: Tourism for all (coordinator for the whole Greater Poland Province, PTTK, 2008), and Tourism of deaf people and opportunities for its activization through the use of a multimedia system of tourist information (2008-2010), The accessibility of tourist routes. Case study of the Piast trail (2018), Analysis of the accessibility of the Piast Trail (2019), Changes in the leisure budget and leisure behavior of residents of large cities in Poland as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic (2020-2021). She cooperates with foreign centers (including Germany, Spain, Portugal, Russia) and, in addition, with institutions and associations (elaboration of a tourism development strategy, accessibility analysis in terms of the needs of people with disabilities). Didactic activity of Prof. Alina Zajadacz includes over 20 years of work as an academic teacher, training for the tourism industry, developing a textbook entitled Accessible Tourism - Recommendations for the Tourism Services Sector (2020) and a series of e-learning courses in the field of accessible tourism implemented as part of the Wielkopolska Tourism Organization (from 2021). Prof. Alina Zajadacz is the chairman of the Program Council for tourism and recreation, she is the vice-dean for education and part-time studies at the Faculty of Geographic and Geological Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. She is also a member of the Rector's Council for student affairs and education at her alma mater. She has been awarded several times by the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University for her teaching activities. In her social activities, she is the chairman of the Geographic and Geological Commission (Poznań Society of Friends of Sciences); vice-president of the Tourism Geography section (Polish Geographical Society); member of the university ranking jury (Tourist News) and an advisory group in the Wielkopolska Tourist Organization.

Dr. Herrera is a Colombian and Spanish citizen. He has a B.Sc. (1997) and PhD (2004) on Chemical Engineering, both with emphasis on LCA, by the Industrial University of Santander (Colombia) and Rovira & Virgili University (Spain). Since December 2006 Dr. Herrera has been a postdoctoral researcher at the sustainability analysis unit at CIEMAT, in Madrid (http://rdgroups.ciemat.es/web/ase). He has taken part in more than ninety (90) national and international events (courses, congresses, seminars, colloquia), on life cycle analysis (LCA), environmental evaluation, integral management of residues, cleaner production, and environmental and socio-economic aspects of the energy, some of them supported by the organizing organisms in diverse national and international institutions (Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, and Spain). He is author or co-author of more than forty (40) articles, communications, and collective works, related to his specialty. Currently, he takes part in projects related, circular economy, bioeconomy, and sustainability analysis through the life cycle inventory analysis and impacts assessment with particular application to convert waste to raw materials approach. Dr. Herrera is a member of ACPN (Advanced Cleaner Production Network) and LCA_SP (Spanish network of life cycle assessment)

Denis Rodrigue obtained a B.Sc. (1991) and a Ph.D. (1996) in chemical engineering from Université de Sherbrooke (Sherbrooke, Canada) with a specialization in non-Newtonian fluid mechanics. In 1996 he moved to Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada) where he is now full professor. Since then, he has been an invited professor at the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), the Technical Institute of Karlsruhe (Germany), the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), the University of Arts and Sciences of Hunan (China), the Technical University of Lodz (Poland) and Polytech Tours (France). His main research areas are in the characterization and the modelling of the morphological / mechanical / thermal / rheological properties of polymer foams and composites based on thermoplastics and elastomers. His main focus is related to polymer recycling and rheology. He is the co-editor of two international journals: Current Applied Polymer Science Journal of Cellular Plastics and a member of the editorial board of three others: Applied Sciences, Section Materials Cellular Polymers Elastomery

Kosuke Shiraishi is an assistant professor at Kyoto University in Japan. Since he took the position in January 2021, he has been driving studies on physiology of microorganisms living on the plant leaf surface, as well as mRNA dynamics and autophagy, using the methylotrophic yeasts as the research model. Before this role, he worked for the Food and Agriculture Organizations of the United Nations and the government of Japan, where he contributed to achieving food security and enhanced his understanding on microbiology and biotechnology from the political viewpoints. He received a Ph.D. in 2017 from Kyoto University.

David Pastor-Escuredo is a Ph.D. from UPM in Artificial Intelligence and Complex Systems. He was a data-driven sustainability pioneer of several United Nations agencies (UNGP, WFP, UNHCR) in AI and Data for SDGs. Currently he works for UNICEF. He leads Digital Innovation projects and Collective Intelligence managing partnerships in UCL and with MIT research centers and labs. He is also a member of the Ethics and Digital Revolution group of Climate-KIC European Mission for neutral cities. He works in Data and AI for Healthcare within the program Catalyst Europe EIT Health / MIT and was awarded by EIT Health as best Catalyst Europe’20 project and Rising Star. Dr Richard Corkish has been working in photovoltaics research and education, mainly at UNSW, since 1990. From 2003 to 2013 he led, as Head of School of Photovoltaic & Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE), the globally leading photovoltaics research team and pioneering photovoltaics education program at UNSW. In that decade, the School’s budget approximately quintupled, the student numbers reached almost 600 and SPREE alumni changed the face of the national and international industries. Dr Corkish is currently Chief Operating officer of the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics, the premier Australian photovoltaics R&D partnership, an Advisor to the Indian National Centre for Photovoltaics Research and Education and an Editor for the IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics. His current research activities are life cycle assessment of photovoltaics technologies and photovoltaics end-of-life management. He has supervised the projects of over 200 students, including for the UNSWERV project, educating through practice while bringing light and power to remote villages in Vanuatu. He has published over 50 journal papers, book chapters and books and over 150 conference papers.

Currently in DIMEG, he is delegate to the process automation of the department on behalf of the DIMEG Director. After a research period at the Center for Tourism at Canberra University in Australia in 2005, he has acted as external researcher since 2006 at the Center for Research in Transnational Education, Leadership and Performance at the same University. In 2005 he was co-founder of a spin-off company of the Unical, Echopress srl, for whom he co-ordinates industrial research projects and prototype development.

My research interests include climate change and impact of the past and future. I am particularly interested in how different factors influence climate change; what the past can reveal about the way the climate system works, and how future climate will impact the environment and society.

Dr. Julia Lu is a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biology, Ryerson University, Canada. She received her PhD degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Her research focuses on the development, evaluation, validation and application of novel techniques to identify and quantify different physical and chemical forms of toxic substances in water, air, soil and biological tissue samples; environmental pollution; biogeochemistry of toxic substances in the natural environment and their effects on ecosystem and human health. The journal papers she has co-authored in various scientific journals including Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Research, Geophysical Research Letters, Environmental Science, Nature, … have been cited for >3000 times.

Prof. Sandro Serpa is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of the Azores since 2013. He has been a higher education faculty member since 2000. He received his PhD in Education, with the speciality in Sociology of Education in 2013, from the University of the Azores. He carries out research in the fields of the Teaching Sociology; Sociology of Education; Sociology of Organisations; Organisational Culture; Scientific Communication, Digital Society; Digital Literacy and Society 5.0. Luciano Pilotti, Full Professor of Innovation Management and Business Strategies at the ESP - Environmental Science and Policy of the University of Milan after 18 years in Department of Economics, Management and Statistics. Before (1992-2001) in Department of Statistics - University of Padua. After graduation in Industrial Organization (Social Science - University of Trento, 1978) he completed PhD in Business Administration and Management at Ca' Foscari University of Venice (1984-88) and his specialization in Applied Economics at ISTAO - Applied Industrial Economics & Business School (post graduate university school of Ancona -1981-2). He has developed applied economics of oil demand and production modeling at ENI Holding – Research Center (1982-83) and at CESCOM – Center of Commerce Research of Bocconi University (1985-99) on different topics such as retail management, marketing and business innovation. He is author/co-author of 20 books on economics and enterprise strategies in innovation ecology and governance (with different publishers as Il Mulino, CEDAM, Marsilio, Giappichelli, Carocci, F.Angeli, McGraw Hill, EGEA-Bocconi, UTET-Torino, EAI-Berlin, et al) and of 180 scientific paper on technologies, organization and management. He had been Professor at the University of Padua for 10 years and since 2008 until 2011 Visiting Professor at Durham Business School (UK).Teaching professor of International Business at SUPSI, University of Italian Switzerland (Lugano). He has been President of Arexpo (2012-2016), the Company owner of the area interested in the 2015 Expo, the Universal Exhibition that will be held in Milan and in the board (years 2016-2017) of ITS Foundation - Cantieri dell’Arte of Milan nominated by Mayor of Milan, oriented to sustain professional specialization in renovation architectural and monument competences of undergraduate candidates. Tsutomu Tsuboi joined Hitachi from 1979 and worked as industrial motors designer until 1985, then Network product management of Semiconductor Div. from 1986 to 1997. He was manager of Hitachi Semiconductor America Inc. from 1997 to 2000. He was senior manager of Renesas Technology from 2003 to 2010. He was senior manager of Smart City Div. of Hitachi Ltd. from 2010 to 2012. He was Project Director of Hamamatsu Agency for Innovation from 2012 to 2014. He is currently project leader of New Creative Business Davison in Nagoya Electric Works since 2014 and acting Project Leader of government Low Carbone Transportation Research of “SATREPS” (Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development) from 2016 to 2022. He is IPSJ member and IEEE senior member. Dr. Darshani Kumaragamage is a Professor at the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences, University of Winnipeg, Canada. She obtained a PhD in Soil Science from the University of Manitoba, Canada, specializing in soil physical chemistry. She has over 35 years of teaching experience at the University level and has taught a variety of courses in Soil Science and in Environmental Science. Her research interests include assessing, monitoring, and mitigating environmental impacts of fertilizers and animal manure, with special focus on phosphorus transformations and mobility in soils under different climatic and management scenarios. She has authored/coauthored 70 peer-reviewed journal publications.

Marco Haid holds a PhD in Management from the University of Innsbruck. He is a research assistant at the Division for Management in Health and Sports Tourism at the University UMIT in Hall and conducts research in the areas of information processing, destination management and sustainability in tourism.

Dr Veljko Radičević is a Senior Lecturer, Academy of Technical and Art Applied Studies Belgrade, Serbia, Department School of Railroad Transport of Applied Studies in Belgrade and he also worked as an Associate Professor, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University "Union-Nikola Tesla", Belgrade, Serbia. He completed his MSc from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering and PhD, University St. Climent Ohridski, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Macedonia (Mentor: PhD Nikola Krstanoski, Full Profesor; PhD, MSc, University of Pennsylvania, USA). He published scientifics papers in many journals (Web of Science): Symmetry, Sustainability, Promet Traffic@Transportation etc. and also he hired as a reviewer an international peer-reviewed journals: Civil Engineering and Architecture, Engineering Science etc.

Xie Kefan, is a professor of Management School, Wuhan University of Technology, and the deputy director of Research Center for Systems Science and Engineering of WUT. He worked at Kyoto University as a postdoctoral fellow from 1998 to 2000, and was a visit scholar of Risk Lab of University of Toronto in 2014. He has published over 170 papers and over 9 books, and was in charge of more than 50 research projects, including 5 from NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China). He was granted 2016 Distinguished Academic Leadership Award from IEEE SMC Enterprise Information System Committee. His research fields are disaster management and emergency management.

My Ph.D. work was entitled “Impacts of preparation of vermicompost with its application on nitrogen cycling and carbon, nitrogen gases emissions in the upland of purplish soil”. During my education journey, I have developed some important academic skills. I got theoretical & practical knowledge in the fields of soil science and undertake laboratory analyses such as soil physical and chemical analyses. I have been published my work in several international Journals. I am self-directed, self-reflective and seems to relish learning and bears a good moral character. I am confident and entrusted for any level of independent research/teaching assignment in the country or abroad. My expertise lies in the areas of waste management, soil science, agriculture, sustainability, ecology, and zoology. In addition, Wildlife surveys, Habitat assessment, Wetlands management, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Community mobilization, and sustainable natural resource planning, backed by the requisite academic qualification. I have experience in managing muti-sectoral programme both independently and as a team player. I have been participated and presented my research work in national and international conferences and attended seeral workshops as an organizer as well. I have visited foreign coutriens to contribute my little role in scientific world, mainly China, UK and Europe to expand my education carrer and skills. Looking forward to seek knowledge from a large plateform of scientists and experts in future.

Gloria Colmenares is receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Münster, with the thesis “Essays in Directed Technological Change in Systems under Transition to a Low-carbon Economy”. She received her M.Sc. in Environmental Management in the field of resource and environmental economics with the thesis “Biofuels potential of Peru”. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Her research aims to examine the efficiency of energy markets at the intersection with environmental and public economics using computational techniques. She has worked with the Independent System Operator and telecommunication companies in Peru.

Tanja Mihalič is Professor at the Department of Economics and Head of Tourism Institute and joint Erasmus Mundus European Master in Tourism Management (EMTM) program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana (SEBLU), Slovenia. Her research interests include interdisciplinary academic fields that draw on multidisciplinary science of sustainomics, from the perspective of ecology, economics, welfare economics, political economy and sociology to study environmental problems and tourism impacts on the environments. She has experience in developing tourism educational and research programs and as tourism development and policy adviser to national governments, European Union and United Nations World Tourism Organization. She is the author of a variety of scientific publications and has led multiple tourism projects in both the public and private sectors. She contributed to the international and global policy documents and agendas, such as Action for more Sustainable European tourism (EC TSG, 2007), European Charter for Sustainable and Responsible tourism (EC TSG, 2012) and transformation of Global Code of Ethics for Tourism into Framework Convention on Tourism Ethics (UNWTO, 2019).

Giulio Allesina received in 2013 his Ph.D. degree in "High Mechanics and Automotive Design" at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). He is currently assistant professor in Applied Physics (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer) since 2017 at the Engineering Department, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia. His research activities include experimental investigation of renewable energy conversion systems.

Paula Llanquileo-Melgarejo is a Candidate for a Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Civil Engineering area, specifically from the Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Chile (defense of Doctoral Thesis in October 2021). Her undergraduate thesis as a Chemical Engineer was carried out at the Polymer Laboratory of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and professional practice at the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission (CCHEN, acronym in Spanish). Her Undergraduate Thesis and Doctoral Thesis have been financed with Chilean scholarships, National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FONDECYT) and National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT). Her professional career as a Chemical Engineer includes agricultural, cosmetic, renewable energy industries, participating in the production area, laboratory, and management processes. In March 2017, she entered the PhD program to enter her career as a researcher and future academic. The objective of it is to contribute with solutions applicable to the industry. Her research and work interests include waste management, circular economy, evaluation of technical-economic projects of an environmental nature, renewable energies, chemical processes and projects in the cosmetic, agricultural and food industry. As a PhD student, she has worked on Projects of the Innovation Center of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in conjunction with companies that seek to solve problems or improve their production processes; related to environmental, mining and agricultural areas. She has presented her research on Waste Management at conferences in person and remotely (due to the Coronavirus pandemic) in Greece, Italy, Chile, Spain, Germany. She has also collaborated in the Climate Change Challenges project organized by the University of Otago (2020), New Zealand, and Romanian researchers in Waste Management in rural populations focused on Latin America. She is open to Postdoctoral possibilities to continue contributing where necessary, always to apply science to real problems that we are currently experiencing worldwide. I have actively participated as a peer reviewer in journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Sustainable Production and Consumption, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies, Journal of Geography, Environment and Earth Science International.

Ahmad Imran Khan is presently a Research Scholar of Finance at Putra Business School, University of Putra, Malaysia. Preparatory to this he completed his MS in Business Administration with distinction from a well acclaimed University, NUML Pakistan. Previously, he secured a degree of Masters in Business Administration from Institute of Management Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. He also succours the same institution for ten years as a Lecturer in the field of Finance and Management which also helps him unveil the limitless opportunities the came along the way. He attended various professional trainings on ‘Project Management’ and Decision-Making skills. He also got International certifications on ‘Competitive Strategies’ and ‘Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management’.
